This is about the best I've ever heard this piece performed. Does not matter the style or source of the singers, if one closes your eyes and just listens, its as if the song was sung by the heavenly hosts. Bravo!

Absolutely fabulous, the best on TH-cam. Also love the reaction of the third singer at the end. The performance obviously meant so much to him, which is understandable as it is so beautifully harmonious throughout. Thank you.

Und da wäre eine etwas andere Kleidung - ein würdigeres Auftreten - angemessen: nicht mit verschlissenen Jeans, wie ich sie bei Gartenarbeit trage und nicht mit den Händen in den Hosentaschen. DANKE!

Can anyone suggest why they might be so liberal with the metre in this rendition? I don’t mind it, just interested why they’re saying nay to the laws of traditional music making and opting for this more casual approach?
I LOVE the added suspensions! Their balance is beautiful. I am not a fan of the key in which it was done (B Major), preferring a higher key, but they made it work wonderfully! :-)

Yes, this is wonderful for four male voices. But you should also treat yourself to Voces8 version. The truly best on TH-cam or anywhere in the world.
