Es ist einfach unglaublich schön. Das Lied selbst ist ein Meisterwerk, aber hier wird es einfach nur perfekt wiedergegeben! Vielen Dank!

This is about the best I've ever heard this piece performed. Does not matter the style or source of the singers, if one closes your eyes and just listens, its as if the song was sung by the heavenly hosts. Bravo!

Yes, this is wonderful for four male voices. But you should also treat yourself to Voces8 version. The truly best on TH-cam or anywhere in the world.

Sie singen wirklich einzigartig schön und zart. Und gerade deshalb überwinde ich mich deshalb zu einer Kritik. So ein Lied singt man doch gewiss aus Dank und zur Ehre Christi. Und da wäre eine etwas andere Kleidung - ein würdigeres Auftreten - angemessen: nicht mit verschlissenen Jeans, wie ich sie bei Gartenarbeit trage und nicht mit den Händen in den Hosentaschen. DANKE!
Mit Verlaub, aber wenn Sie schon zum Vergleich Christus heranziehen, möchte ich daran erinnern, dass die ersten, die ihm zur Ehre sprachen und wirkten, Hirten, Fischer und vielleicht sogar Gärtner waren. Lassen Sie uns also hoffen, dass diese Sänger hier nicht die letzten sind, die sich um ein solch großes Erbe bemühen und dafür ihre Stimmen erheben.

I LOVE the added suspensions! Their balance is beautiful. I am not a fan of the key in which it was done (B Major), preferring a higher key, but they made it work wonderfully! :-)
