Seit meiner Schulzeit ist dies das schönste Weihnachtslied für mich. Meine zehnte Schulklasse lernte es damals dreistimmig zu singen und ich habe seitdem niemanden gefunden, der es mal so singen kann, denn ich lebe seit vielen Jahren in Michigan, USA.

I love those performances, but this is different and utterly enchanting. Love the ornaments in the melody, and the 3 male - 1 female blend is beautiful. Beautifully performed first verse introduction, and accompaniment too and a cappella last verse. Thank you.
You capture the sound of the Middle Ages. The instrumental is magical, the interpretations perfect. I sang Madrigals in high school and learned so much about Moore and others of the time. Thank you for this beauty! It’s on my Christmas list now.

I love this piece, and this is such a beautiful performance of it. What a wonderful demonstration of the human voice as a musical instrument, every bit as much as a violin or piano, for example, is. Beautiful voices.

That's a blessing Jaime, that's not a curse." We hate war, violence, and other horrors, but those things can bring out the best in us. How can we measure the blessings of peace for without something to contrast it to? How can we measure the worth of humanity without having heroes, sung or unsung, who railed against darkness and cruelty? This beautiful carol, my favorite, and wonderfully performed here, brings us hope, peace and light. It has more power even today than does the cruelty and darkness that existed when it was first put down on paper.
Es ist ein Rosentsprungen is my favourite Christmas experience. and has been ever since I passed Christmas in Germany . This arrangement brings out its beauties and I greatly enjoyed it but to be in a congregation in a German Lutheran church at Christmas is something else.
