Hello Kids! We just viewed your video at lunch. We live in the Adirondacks and are very familiar with all the places you were at. Just a couple of Fun Facts for your next visit here. A) not sure if you know that The Adirondack Park is a "6 Million acre For Ever Wild forest. It truly is the real UPSTATE NEW YORK. and B) at 5:17min you mentioned that your walks were like being in a rain forest. Well you were right on the point!!! Adks are a rain forest just not a "tropical" rain forest. Many people who live here don't know this little fact... Yes friends We are a Rain Forest "minus" the ABUNDANT snakes and lizards, poison bugs, and creepy things. That's all I can say for our beautiful beloved Adirondack Mountain home for today. Just found your video. Alittle late to the party but Lake Durant actually has 5 free campsites. The three you stayed at are great but few people know about the other two smaller campsite on old St Rt 28. Just down from where you camped on the main rd is a pull off and boat washing area. Across the street is old St Rt 28. The rd follows the shore line of Lake Durant and the two sites are on that rd. Just info for anyone looking and the other three site are full. Happy camping! 😀

The moose in upstate NY are confined to the Adirondacks. Due to the rest of upstate's high deer population. It looks like the moose population is having a hard time spreading elsewhere. The deer is a carrier of a parasite from a snail, that is harmless to deer but deadly to a moose.
I believe that the co-coordinates of 48.84718, -74.42215 that you show at 1:07 should be 43.84718, -74.42215. Otherwise, great job guys. Love your videos.

@@oneadVANtureatatime that florence alabama one really meant a lot. My grandma was from there n I'd never been or seen a vid bout florence. I knew it had good music n food I guess. A bit too humid but if u got a farm it's be ok
We would recommend it..... the price is a little steep. Worked awesome on west coast where there weren’t so many trees 🌳 a little harder to find clear spots out here in the east (thick trees everywhere😃) However, we do a lot of Boondocking in the boonies so it’s got its work cut out with us. We think you will need some sort of cell booster for sure. They are starting to come out with a few different options now. Let us know how it works out for you😃

+S Hug Carrie used a knock off go pro camera she bought For 40 dollars a couple years ago..neither of us can remember the name. We are looking forward to using it in some Northern Maine lakes in the near future.😀
+S Wolfe actually we had the least amount of bugs at this spot since Minnesota!! Still a few black flies and a few mosquitoes but manageable! The underwater footage was fun to do! But that sealed the deal that I was not going swimming!!!! Carrie

+maitilda mcintyre We do! We are using a “we boost” with our Verizon plan. It worked out great out west but marginally on the east coast so far.
