Bro I honestly just got to thank you so much for this jump shot, Its extremely nice to actually get a consistent feeling shot for once and know if you were off or not by feeling and seeing you didnt hit the shot at the right point. I noticed thats why people started incorporating carmelo anthony into releases yet no shots ive tried (and ive tried a couple) felt as consistent! I just hope it doesnt get patched or changed
I don't understand why every catch, every shot, every area on the court, every animation..on and on, has a different animation. This is also the first 2k where practicing in HOF Career does absolutely nothing, it may actually only hurt you.
I been using set point because it has a better cue for me. Also it helps with contest because I don’t have to hold it so long. Push and release seem to be a long push and hold. Longer than normal. But that’s just me. I say change the setting until you find a cue you can see clearly

I couldn't figure out what was going on because it felt like the shots were delayed. I will only go to Gatorade facility from now on. Thank you! Also, why don't they let us shoot around in pro am anymore? That was always my go to before jumping into rec or a pro am game. Disappointing.
Idk bro ever since I changed from Push to Set Point my shooting has gone up honestly 10% to 15% better with the lag in the Park and Rec that most of us have I noticed a huge difference in my shoots going in changing Release timing. I’m shooting just over 60% now from 3 and the first week was pretty bad to for me.
Great vid although I don’t know if I agree with the shooting in the Gatorade gym I always took shots in the pro am in years past and now all I shoot in is the art of shooting gym and I only play online and I’m shooting 71 percent from 3 in the Rec this year and every other year it was always 55/65 percent granted I do only take good open 3s and have really strong WiFi and hardly ever lag and I’ve always thought that if you rely on visual que more than feel or timing you’ll green no matter the mode that’s the way I’ve always shot just my opinion though

Hop on the rec and theater once i got my badges and hotzones and my Shepard jumpshot and im shooting 65%. And i ain't complaining and b.s The problem with this community they want to be great from the Getco.
20% is nothing man... I'm starting to think that everyone who constantly hits without a shot meter just stitches their controllers for a certain timing. Especially if you take into account the constant unstable delay
throwing without a shot meter is fucking unrealistic (with my 85 3 pt). You can only watch the animation if you have zero latency. And everyone else is just cheating with gamepads, and I even saw this recently with 77 3 pt, he threw in the face almost from the middle

When you miss 3-4 shots in a row it’s almost impossible to make another after that. Drive in and make a lay up to take your player out of the slump and you should go back to greening from mid to long
In my honest opinion this game makes 0 sense this year my career is horrible especially when playing an nba game park is decent if you elite online play is also garbage
Don't use this jump shot. All the other info is great tips. But this jumpshot has terrible side drift witg low timing stability it will drift you into a contest. Maybe it's my 76 3 pointer but JT thor or Sheppard better shots.

I use push timing and just release every time the wrist starts to go forward and practice in the Gatorade facility . Go 1v1 against a friend

Practice your shot in whatever game mode you play the most. Practicing it anywhere else will have your shot off a bit.
