I've been researching and planning a Philippines "test run" for either 2024 or 2025 since I might stick around for family during the Christmas holidays. I'd have more than enough to sustain myself for a few years (at least the three year visa run without even a question) out there if the culture get's a tight enough grasp on me. My main concern is if I were to stay, is there anything for entry level foreigners out there as I'm not near old nor rich enough to retire. I mean even flipping burgers to start would suffice to start. I know a lot of advice on this points towards remote jobs. Is that our only option as foreigners for entry level jobs or would an employer even look at a 9(g) if it wasn't for a specialized/professional role?

I've been researching and planning a Philippines "test run" for either 2024 or 2025 since I might stick around for family during the Christmas holidays. I'd have more than enough to sustain myself for a few years (at least the three year visa run without even a question) out there if the culture get's a tight enough grasp on me.
My main concern is if I were to stay, is there anything for entry level foreigners out there as I'm not near old nor rich enough to retire. I mean even flipping burgers to start would suffice to start. I know a lot of advice on this points towards remote jobs. Is that our only option as foreigners for entry level jobs or would an employer even look at a 9(g) if it wasn't for a specialized/professional role?
