This the video I have needed! I have been finishing several pieces my mom abandoned and now I know how to finish them! Thank you so much! Great explanation, great video and great editing!
Beautiful finish! Your truck series is very cute. The wooden piece is perfect. I put a layer of batting behind my cross stitch pieces. Thank you for this tutorial. See you next time.
I'm so happy that you posted a video tonight. I had a busy day in my sewing room and now I get to sit and watch you work. I hope you have a wonderful week ahead. Thank you for sharing this video!
I use to do a lot of stamping and have some leftover sticky magnetic business card size magnets. They work well for cross stitch projects. You can get them on Amazon.
This is sew creative. Thank you Erica. I don't do cross stitch..I do machine embroidery. I have sew many blocks embroidered. What a great idea for finishing them. 💟
I believe this method of finishing (magnets and washers) was created by Priscilla Blaine of Stitching with the Housewives. Pricilla finishes many of Kimberly’s / Fat Quarter Shop items.
I was just looking at another of your videos, and found this which is great for my cross stitch. You may be able to find a similar back frame at a dollar store, which is where I'll be headed tomorrow, as we have no Hobby Lobbys. Thanks for another really helpful tutorial.
Do you mean you would like to see how to finish a quilt? I do have a whole quilt series that shows everything from start to finish here: th-cam.com/play/PLiv51fzKv8b8MojYJWo7fd2jvLBSKwmFS.html
No, I would love to see this truck/heart cross stitch turned into a quilt like with the other truck quilts. I decorate for Valentines and is would be Gorgeous to add a quilt to it.
I'd like to buy your Vintage Truck of the Month patterns, but not all 12 months are listed at the link above. Can you please advise? Are some just not released yet?
I only have Aug-Feb available. They release the 15th of each month, and once they're all released I will bundle them up for those who would like to buy them all at once.
Hi, I don't have a video for the monthly trucks, but I do have a beginner cross stitch series that shows you everything you need to know to be able to do them here: th-cam.com/video/Hs5IYL9tAjE/w-d-xo.html
Yikes! Good to know, I think if you get archival safe sticky board it's not supposed to do that. But I think your idea is better, better safe then sorry!
This is great. I’m new to cross stitch and I don’t know how to sew. This makes it easy and no sewing required. Beautiful finishes.
Awesome thanks so much! I bought a circle wood for the mount. I was gonna try and see how that worked. I’ll post a pic when I get it done.
Do plan to offer the vintage truck cross stitch Pattern in a complete set?
I love all your patterns and tutorial videos. Thank you.
Yes I would like to get the 12 trucks as a group.
Yes, once they're all released I will bundle them in a set :)
@@erica_arndt where can I keep watch to buy the truck series? I love it and definitely want to get all 12.

Where can I find the truck pattern?
Everything is linked below the video

Hi, they aren't all released yet. They're releasing the 15th of each month, March is coming next :)
Do you finish for customers?
These are super cute! What do you use to cut the sticky board?
An old rotary blade on my rotary trimmer and use that. I just use it for the sticky board. You could also use a rotary paper trimmer if you have one.
I was hoping to purchase all 12 months, but can only find 6.

Will you be leaving your Christmas tree up year round??????
Nice video
Do you have any walk through videos for these patterns????????

40 years ago I used sticky board and it discolored and ruined all my pieces. I always use batting now behind my cross stitch.
Yikes! Good to know, I think if you get archival safe sticky board it's not supposed to do that. But I think your idea is better, better safe then sorry!
@@erica_arndt that was 40 years ago but I was selling at craft fairs and now I’m horrified to think people bought things that were later ruined.
Has anyone found a wooden background similar to this? I’m searching the internet… any help would be greatly appreciated!!

It was hard to see what you did to finish December.
Sorry, I finished it the same way then just glued a piece of fabric to the block then glued the cross stitch to it.
Hello 😍😍😍😍👍👍👍👍😘🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
