- The alchemist is the best monkey in the game and are overpowered. You should use the alch in just about every run because it is so versatile. The top path provides amazing buffs, the middle path allows for crazy DPS if used correctly, and the bottom path generates tons of cash. I beak down all 3 paths and how to use them in BTD6.

Bottom path for sure, easily getting rid of leads and generating extra cash is incredibly useful. Not to mention pairing alchemists with Etienne is a great combination to get those pesky camos.

I used it once in an actual game where i forgot to bring any towers for Spillway and ended up needing 040
i have used it for the boss bloons but its not that great annywhhere else because of its price

My bottom path alch has always more damage than my VTSG in late rounds with often billions of dmg. I don’t think you’re giving it enough credits.

It doesnt hit bads though, which are really the only thing that kills late game. It is still good for letting the vtsg focus on bads though.

I know acid pools is redundant but I've been finding myself using 402 to buff sauda or my permaspikes.
Sauda loves bloons recieving DOT and my permaspike is so far back that it gives me peace of mind.
420 lasts longer, better for one tower.

For me it depends, towards the front of the track I like 420 for moab damage. Towards the end part the pools get to build up.

this is completely useless, sauda benefits from DOT damage but she applies it herself, and it does not stack. Using a 402 is directly inferior to a 420

Ice monkey could be a magic type as well. A lot of them fit into multiple roles
0-2-4 is an Underrated Crosspath in ABR since it can do extra damage to the R40 F MOAB
Does it really have to be xx4? Iirc, x2x causes the fortified bonus and you can utilize 021 and maybe transition to 031 for the concoction
@@litodicdican6158 yea x2x is really good for some Moab chip damage, I prefer 4-0-1 alch but if for some reason I get 4-2-0 I always set it on strong

You used to be able to stack tier 5 middle path dart monkey and tier 5 middle path alchemist which would be so overpowered and shred through bads, you might still be able to but idk

since when i first got the game when it first came out i used the alchemists buffs its one of the towers i use most
ATM, except paragons that can't get buffed, the only towers unable to receive alch buffs are :
-top/mid/bot path alchemist
-mid/bot path village
-top/mid/bot banana farms
-benjamin
-etienne
-psi
So every other hero, every other towers, can receive those OP buffs.
If it was only the monkey-based towers (those unable to DRINK the brews also being unable to get the buff, like mid path alch ability) it would be situations where you don't want alch buffs (so more balanced as right now it is definitely OP...?)

well moab is for only moab(r40 one) not bfbs and others, blimps are all of them moabs,bfbs,zomgs,ddts and bads
It takes less time to say blimps than Moab class bloons
i reccomend to have your alch set to last or close if going bottom path and have a glue gunner in front of it to slow bloons down

The middle path Alch's ability now does 3 damage instead of 2, effectively increasing it's damage by 50%, as of the 35.0 update
The x-x-5 alchemist is so strong that it can kill ghost bloons in sandbox mode

I can see the Alchemist being the easiest Paragon to reach degree 100 thanks to BMA. No need for more tier 4 towers to place.

@@obama69890 I searched up and it says it reaches 76 which is the Max for singleplayer. To get degree 100, you must have at least 4 players to achieve that

Bloon Master Alchemist is one of my favorite upgrades, it’s really good and a cool concept
Bloon Master Alchemist is the only tower I've hit a billion damage with.

In my current game the Bloon Master Alchemist has more pops then the Glaive Dominus
Bottom path alc is so broken it's just disgusting. Loads of income for 3rd and 4th tier, and 5th tier instakills zomgs without an ability, something only done by the navarch
Agreed, alch is definitely the best tower. Top path is insanely god buffing, middle is super underrated and actually very useful, particularly with x3x as it helps a lot with the 90s in chimps, and bottom path is easy extra income that synergises super well with bloon trap. It's sad we don't get to see money generation from bottom path tho.

sharpening stone + alch + jar of pickles + 1-4-0 (or 0-4-2) spactories is an op strategy, it gives +4 more spikes per pile and +2 (or +3 if geraldo is high level) damage to EACH spike pile which just destroys everything
i think you're right that abilities are undervalued, but that's because of the way most people play the game. fundamentally, towers that require the player to pay close attention and constantly make decisions (e.g. tsar/sabo/snowstorm etc) are more mental effort than towers that are just consistently strong all the time. if i'm playing a daily challenge in the morning before work, my main goal is usually to get my defence to the stage where i can leave it running unchecked to round 100 while i take my shower lol
Dont use Alch on Dartling guns unless its perma brew! Dartlings CHURN through those attacks due to the super fast attack speed (unless its buckshot)

something worth noting: permanent brew uses the berserker brew boost, not the stronger stimulant boost
so although the boost is weaker than stronger stim, it lasts forever unless sold
edit: this was posted back during 28.0, as of now perma brew uses stronger stimulant boost

my bma has more pops than degree 79 dart, degree 74 boomer , degree 76 ninja paragon combined! like it has more pops than vtsg
alch paragon might be overpowered as it deletes every moab class except bads
If you're in super late game, BMA isn't as good as it seems. It may have the most pops, but those are only on bloons that aren't bads, which is completely useless that late in. Past round 120, the only bloon that actually matters are bads, so being only useful for not bads is pointless.

Alchemist pops lead which means he is the alternative cheap choice for bomb shooter
I just used 024 alchemist on Lych normal and completed it, very useful for popping the leads round 28+, making it easier to focus on farming. I just used the alchemist, ninja, engineer and dart shooter for the early stages so I could just farm and get kills gradually for the 3 paragon round 100+

4-0-2 is still useful as, while it's weak, the acid pools do some extra damage

Imo bma is the most important for late game, an insane tower though the earlier upgrades are neglible. P-brew is also good for late game, but earlier paths are actually really good yeah. But for me, middle path yes is underrated, but not good. True some it isn't as bad as some people think, it isn't really a good tower or strategy, kind of meh, and unstable concoction is alright but doesn't keep the 10% in the late game
Based on the pops of BMA it's really good. I'm not a pro but damn that number is crazy. Late game it's super good since everything that isn't a BAD is weak to BMA.

The best tower is Dart in BTD1, Dart in BTD2, Beacon in BTD3, Super in BTD4, Bloonchipper in BTD5, Sniper Monkey in BTD Battles, Engineer in Bloons Monkey City, Alchemist in BTD6, and Dartling in Battles 2. Reply for a disagree (especially sniper, i've got tons of explaining for that)

Middle path is like a dart monkey hitting a BAD damage in late game compared to bottom path which can’t kill BAD but one shots any health zombies and lower so it is much better
I was playing on freeplay a few days ago and somehow a tier 5 bottom path alc was my strongest tower from rounds 120 - 140ish. The tower apparently got around 9 Mil in those rounds and was competing for damage with my sky shredder ace and moab domination boomerang.

I have a question, in theory, wouldn’t shinobi tactics synergize better with tt than Druid of wrath? A maxed shinobi-buffed shinobi gives +430% times attack speed and +160% times pierce, so 5.3 times faster and 2.6 times more pierce. A maxed druid-buffed Druid of wrath only gets 3.5 times attack speed and 1.75 times more pierce. Correct me if I’m wrong on any of this. People always say that druids of wrath are better. I think this is because they think that heart of vengeance stacks for x7 speed. This is not true though.
You have to get 25 shinobi's though since the transformed shinobis stop giving the buff during the transformation. I think people say Druid of wrath is better since it's easier to fit 5 monkeys and buff 5 monkeys than 25 monkeys. Also, Druids are good early game, and bottom path druid in general scales much better late game than shinobis.
Another thing, poplust is Tier 4.

Im pretty sure im the only one who uses bottom path alc i use it to deal with early leads and get extra money and use forth tier to help with farming

one thing to note about xx5 BMA is that attack speed buffs will make it throw shrink potions more often. tested this in coop where my friend had his bma at the start of the track and mine was in the back on resort. I 10x ultra boosted mine and kept a 240 village on it constantly buffing it and had a significantly higher pop count than him by the end
When i meme hard mode final round, i sell everything and get a 050 super monkey because it 1 shots zomgs

By round 300, My BMA has outpopped my level 76 Ninja Paragon, my level 76 Boomer Paragon, and my level 79 Dart Paragon COMBINED. It has also outpopped my VTSG by a good margin. It’s actually insane.

0-2-5 alchemist is OP. I did higest round run and it got most amount of pops. It did around 330 million pops and even VTSG or paragons(including ninja paragon) didn't beat it
i think the alch should have a rework that is all its upgrades (teirs 2-5) create a new poition instead of getting 2 poitions and 1 is very good

The bloon alchemist master guy, he can turn TEST BLOONS INTO RED BLOONS. In an actual game he can turn up to ZOMGS back into red Bloons. It’s dumb right?
