What is up everyone, welcome to another video where I talk about CHIMPS strategies that you can use right now to get a black border on almost every map in BTD6. These strategies are easy to execute, can be done by anyone and have a lot of room for error. Hope you guys enjoy the video!

What a phenomenal guide, but things get more difficult with split paths on maps, I think you should do another video about chimps tower positions, as u can show off where a certain tower works best

The first strike is usually used as a bad destroyer on short maps. You can use a first strike when the bad almost pops which will spawn no children

Nice. I have just gotten a few black borders recently, this really helped.
i USED tack zone a lot with pat (before nerf) and it always went really good on all beginner maps
This is exactly the kind of thing I've been looking for. I don't want to know the exact strats to beat each map, 'cus it takes the fun out of figuring it out for myself. I do be needing help getting those expert maps done tho so general guidance like this is perfect.

I was doing the Obin - Ninja - Alch - Super thinggy before as well but trying different things; I managed to get a gold border with a Sky Shredder but just couldn't black border it.
...now let's see if my gold border on Geared can become black as well...

PoD is nice for chimps,it’s good anti ddt and also let’s you save up for some t5s if you have anti Moab

Poplust is so broken on chimps, archmage also works with expert maps with a lot of objects.

There are a lot of overused upgrades especially MOAB Glue and Tackzone being nailed on Patch 23.0. But the overall strategy works well. All players need to do is to develop a second layer of "Knowledge": Map design, reading patch notes, timing, etc. Which mostly can only be gained by playing more.

Gotta admit, Prince of Darkness is too strong, and I'm bored on using populated upgrades to beat CHIMPS.
I find it more fun when beating CHIMPS with unexpected tower combo, even though it isn't Expert map.

Prince of Darkness is the best cc in the game atm. Placement is key though, I sandbox most of the maps for an ideal position. Maybe an explanation vid for the P.O.D would be in good.

Really? Record legit before late game buff was 3001 and I myself played to 1001 also before it.
A few months ago there was a bug with Blooncineration remving the freeplay ramping. Ramping increases the Blimps HP over the rounds and with Blooncin you could get rid of it, meaning every BAD would be as strong as the r100 BAD and every fortified BAD as strong as the R200 fortified BADs

On maps with water I like to use a few destroyers with gwen and alch, although on spiced islands I had an easier time with sub spam. I'll definitely use some of these strategies though :)
I usually do sauda start, into 420 alchemist, then 402 ninja, into 204 wizard. I usually get PoD before round 60 and grandmaster before round 80. For the bad just spam spike storms (or a carpet of spikes and a few storms).

I learned the Avatar of Wrath/DruidSpam and Obyn strat and ive never gone back for just grinding medals. Every now and then I switch up to a 5-0-2 Ninja/Adora/ 4-2-0 Alchemist for most of the game, obviously adding more towers late game
I remember the first time I beat round 100
*i spammed 0-4-0 monkey ace and one 0-5-0 one*
That's me with 0-4-2 subs
I do striker jones, bomb spam, mortar and village
Mortar bottom path for the fortified DDT
Bottom path bomb for clean up with village
Middle path bomb spam for mass MOAB damage
Village for camo detection.
Sometimes perma-spike for safe protection with a 4-0-0 alchemist
I haven’t gone wrong so far
The thing is. For the strategies that I use, CHIMPS is not the problem. The problem is half cash.

My favorite synergy is probably Apache Prime + P.O.D. which obliterates just about any single lane map since P.O.D. covers Apache Prime's DDT weakness.
Consider using the Spectre (consider also a 2-3-0 village)

I use the strategy you showed on the corn map but I use 5-0-2 ace and 0-2-4 boomerang

my only black border rn is logs lol, but im steadily working on getting bb for all the easy maps, just gets kinda boring going thru all the medals with essentially the same strat, sauda>sniper>ninja>crossbow>alch beats pretty much everything ive tried so far, some maps require extra due to map layout tho
What i like to do it to choose a MVP tower and then use it to beat every single difficulty. Like i choose the Monkey Buccaneers as the mvp for spice islands. The only rules are that the mvp tower must be the main dps and with the most pops.

Ever since Sauda came out, I've just been spamming the Carrier Flagship route into 5-0-0 Ace. I also use Prince of darkness.
So im playing on my 2nd account (the other one’s progress wasn’t saved, my fault), and this is the first time i black bordered any map, also got every paragon and actually grinded for sauda! Best account yet!
Never thought i’d get this far
Also reliable is Ninja, Alch., POD, Perma Spike.
As start three dart monkeys should do the trick until you can get the ninja.
Only have a few advanced and expert maps left to black border. I look forward to using some of this knowledge!

One of the strongest setups, in my experience, is overclocking a sun avatar. Like Ethan says in the video, it’s a great midgame strat that can even carry into the 80’s on some maps
Another really fun one is apache prime, although it can only really be used effectively on maps where the bloons only come on one lane at a time. The pursuit AI freaks out on multi-lane maps lol
While not the best tower by any means, I absolutely love using permacharge on the easier maps. I might be biased since the boomerang is my favorite tower, but I get a kick out of it every time
This video has a lot of helpful information, but Chom Chom made a 3 part series with great, in-deprh info for CHIMPS of that’s something you’d be interested in!

I liked the Video, but what do you think about Archmage ? I think he is very useful for mid and late game
I kinda like him too but have found myself much more successful ever since switching away from him. Try perma charge if looking for a different strategy

You can save up for an apache using just Sauda, 000 sniper, village and heli on Another Brick
Prince of darkness with Saudi can atleast on logs let you save up for dark champion or anything else you'd want doesn't require much micro

from my opinion shinobi ninjas and master bomber are just as good as the grandmaster ninja. Because everything under a bad bloon gets anialated because of all the stun and damage. And from my opinion the wall of fire is also one of the most cost effiecient towers.

I know you’re probably either completely done with the game or an absolute legend at it by now, but one thing that works for me is alch-bloonjitsu spam. Start with sauda. Get 1-2 banks if you want

Wow I watch the first Strat with the Apache prime and I get a black border when I had gold before.
I've tried doing this strategy on "Off the Coast" and in "Underground." I've gotten above 90 rounds but haven't been able to beat them with it :(
230 village, and 025 wizzard and 502 heli, 402 ninja, a level 20 quincy should do it, it seem's really the best for chimps for me but thanks anyways.
One combo that works pretty well is Sauda with two wizards! Almost no effort required.

start by going for a 030 wizard, and then you can get an archmage by 63
It only works on some maps, obviously not all, but it IS very low effort.

i only use 3 towers ninja alch and sauda everything in my eyes is inferior even the vengefull temple

Nice guide. Also, is it just me that doesn't like to use spike storm on round 100? I mean, it does good damage in guides, but for me it never seems to do that good. Besides, I usually have enough money for first strike or use some other cheap towers, like I have used overdrive and alch or AP darts and alch.
I mean, first strike is good and all, but it’s around twice the cost of a spike storm, and usually, spike storm is used just to get a bit of extra damage to the bad, and not used like first strike, which does massive damage to ONE blimp.

Can you do a Workshop CHIMPS I hate Obyn's RNG so I use Pat instead but still I lost sometimes in 40 and 50's because of RNG and bad timing of Reverse Motor and Pat's 1st ability
Obyn and Quincy are the only useful towers in expert maps on chimps. Pat just Won’t help.
@@francogiobbimontesanti3826 pat is viable on dark castle and eitenne can be used as well for muddy puddles. Its nn friendly. But otehr than that, yes quonc and obyn are most reliable to use/easy.
