Loc’ing our hair is very ancestral . It says a lot about how our hair grows loc’d vs loose . Specifically those of us with finer strands. Your edges have come a long way. I’d leave the coils & probably visit the loctician who installed them for a Retie, so she can install the ones in the front once they are ready ? If not, TH-cam can assist in the install. Congrats on your hair healing . They look great & you look beautiful as always 🎉❤
It’s true the growth at the hairline has improved greatly. The before and after pics is mind blowing. The coils in the front are cute. I’ve seen people add Afro kinky human hair to their starter locs- maybe that can be a suggestion to help blend them to the rest of the locs? Thank you for sharing ❤❤❤

Yas, sis 👏🏾! I see those baby locs! 😊🎉 Your hair is so nice... My loctician started about 24 new baby locs (interlock) on both sides of my head. There was still some hair she didn't interlock. I just two strand twist about (3) ones because I don't know how to interlock. So Ill be banding them together when I wash. I didn't have 2-3" in the front when I got my install. So to see how many she was able to start makes me so happy ☺️. I can't wait until they lock! 🎉 Ill be 2-years September 7th! Time has flown by..

Hey girl, I hope all is well. I'm looking forward to another video of yours soon. I just had to come back and report since the last time, I believe (2) re-ties ago, the hairline was growing enough my loctician was able to put even more baby locs in...even though they didn't last long and they were sporadically placed. But I just went this past Thursday (7/24/24), and when I tell you, my loctician said I had a whole head of hair that's grown in where I was practically balled 😅! The hair since January 2024 has grown in so much that she was able to put over 20 baby locs on each side, and they were long enough that she was able to flat twist them down for a style!!! She just could not believe how much it has grown from 6-weeks ago. She kept saying you have edges now and how she is so happy for me 😢. This is the first time I'm able to put my hair in a ponytail and not have to try and cover up the bald areas 🎉! I can't believe it, and I my have a little more hair to grow in the front for my transformation to be complete!! This is the best money I spent to get my hairline back, and it actually worked for me!! Sorry for the long posts I'm just so happy!

You can start with a comb coil sis. I started my microlocs with comb coils and they looked similar to yours. Congratulations, your hair looks beautiful!

The first video I saw was when you first started your lock journey and the one where you mentioned you cut your lock off and reattached it. You have come along way and I am so happy for you! You should check Queen Eleem TH-cam page, maybe she can give you an idea of what to do with your new locks you started. I started my own microlocs last month by just watching videos and doing research and she very helpful to me. You look amazing sister and don't let no one tell you otherwise!

I’m always on time, the only reason why I’m trying to wait is because I’m goin on vacation next month on the 15th and I’m really trying to hold out!! So do you think I should just go ahead and get them done or continue to wait? Next month on the 20th will actually make 12 weeks since I had a retie
I don't know if it's way to long but, I will say I go about 12 weeks and my sisterlocks are doing fine.
