you know theres a drain plug for the gas. also the threads in the center of the pump are so you can put a screw in it to get it out with prying on the edge.
How did you get that wire plug to come apart from the harness (4:18 ) on the video. It is driving me crazy.. I have the same connector on my 2007 Buell Lightning Stt. Charlie
My xb9sl just started having major pump problems and I am not very motivated to remove the swing arm... Do you know what if this work with an 03’? 👍 good vid btw.
Thanks man, I'm relatively sure its the same process for the 2003 models. Just make sure you cover your swing arm with a rag so you don't scratch it while you pull the pump out. The clearances are pretty tight.
