My grandfather had put a side mounted JC Higgins scope on it which didn't survive the moist environment of the shed because it was steel. When I restored it i filled the 4 holes in the stock with 1/8" brass rod. I have that little red handbook as well. Thank you very much for sharing your research.
very nice and the best guns in the years then , i got always a sheridan s c models til now (also had the co2 rifle and pistol). .but the time got better guns its started with the hw 80 (r1 ) , more power and easyer to use , and now with the modern pcp airguns you can shoot 50 times with more power from a fill 50 joule in 22 ,,some pcp airrifles are goeing up to 2000 joule , the sheridan around 20 joule the sheridans need good care and keep them in good condition. they worth it. that red manual is from the 1970 and later or so

Such a nice Sheridan collection my oldest Sheridan is a 1968 Silver Streak just great guns.
Just added another model B to the fold, but this one doesn't hold air. Planning on sending it to be repaired by UJ Backus. Nice year Streak you have.
I am fortunate enough to still have my 1976 Blue Streak. Great little rifles indeed. You have a very nice collection there.
Flash... Congrats on still having your Blue Streak. Hopefully its a shooter as well. Thanks for taking a look at the vid & the positive comments. 👍
Very cool and hard to find air rifles. Beautiful guns man!

Thank you for clarifying what the model B is. Mine isn't stamped BLUE STREAK but now I know it is a model C.
Thanks for taking a look Tom!
Those first guns cost more than a weeks pay. No wonder they didnt sell many.
