How is this video suddenly getting all this attraction like a year after it was uploaded 💀 Thanks though to whoever has seen, liked and commented on this video. I really appreciate it
All of my own recordings for piano have been like that too haha, It's definitely really weird how the algorithm works for smaller channels. Nice playing! Those intro tremelos are tough to maintain the stamina on them and the A section of the piece is almost Baroque like with each hand playing a voice, though you nailed both!
@@wavynocturne thank you so much! The TH-cam algorithm certainly is a strange thing. Yeah the first section is definitely the toughest part of piece to both learn and play
I dont know how pianists can do this stuff, I try to play piano and I can never remember where all the notes are and can't do things with both my hands at the same time its so incredible that you can this!
Thank you so much! The piano notes themselves aren’t really an issue to learn, it’s reading sheet music that’s difficult, sight reading is well is something even I’m not confident at so it’s ok if it’s all confusing. It just takes a lot of learning and practice
piano, like anything, is just a matter of practice. you aren't seeing those thousands of hours of practice when you see a performance but everyone needs to do it
Yeah I agree with the others, I’ve seen many versions of this but I don’t think any single person has ever captured the essence of this piece as well as you. Beyond phenomenal, you’ve clearly honed your skills to an amazing degree
1:50- 4:09, symbolizes the knight "proving its the pure vessel". The music of the path of pain (made to prove purity) plays to demonstrate. Simply perpetuating the cycle. As Hornet says (more proof the knight isn't hollow). 4:18-4:43, symbolizes the knight taking the other route and accepting the void within. The prologue music conveys it has reflected on its past. 4:48- 5:27, symbolizes the knight giving the siblings redemption.
4:48 through 5:27 is the part that plays for the Dream No More ending, which is the Knight defeating the Radiance. Defeating the Radiance allows the vessels (and their shades) to finally rest, as the Radiance is no longer going to be a threat ever again.
@@therandomnessstrikes1435 Personally I dont believe the dream no more ending actually destroys the radiance. It only consumes her in darkness. And like her dream nail dialogue says, "THE LIGHT CANNOT BE CONSUMED". Giving reason to why the godhome endings even matter, because there we actually completely destroy the radiance. But ya, either way, it gives the shades closure.
I know it is not the hardest part, but for me it is the second part that shines. And you played it so beautiful. Your control and range is quite amazing.
Your hands are a gift from god because like everyone else here I haven't seen anyone play sealed vessel on a piano and sound that close to the original song
Ever notice how near the end it sounds similar to the shade music. Also played in that cradle room in white palace. I believe its connected to the Hollow Knight. But its then replaced by the tune first heard as the knight entered hallownest. Its symbolism. The knight replaced the hollow knight.
Amazing, that piece always gives me goosebumps. I enjoyed it very much, well done and thanks for your effort. The fifth phanteon is nothing compare to this ;)
It's been a couple months I haven't reheared this masterpiece, and this just made me shed tears out of the sheer load of emotions conveyed through it. And you played it magnificently 💜
I prefer the piano collections version, but I'm truly impressed you managed to catch to many different instrument sections in one instrument. Excellent work.
a little too excited listening to this- you did so well!! i love hollow knight and i felt happy listening to you play. i felt the same emotion when i listen to the original. im learning the piano but im not experienced enough to try this yet- lovely song ^^
It’s fine! I linked the video I learnt the piece from in the description, I’m sure with enough practice you can get there eventually. The most difficult part of this piece is the entire first part because of the alternating scales, once you’re passed that part it’s a lot easier.
Well you know how to play it, so you can always try again! If you’re worried about it being a while since you played it, this video of mine was actually taken after I had to relearn the whole thing after 2-3 years, so you can still try again!
Thank you! I’m so glad I’ve been able to express the emotion of this piece to so many people. Also, I’m sure if you practice enough and have enough dedication you’ll be able to play piano just as well :)
ive just learned this myself on piano, its the hardest song i've learned so far, and damn you're nailing it. I still have to perfect some parts near the end tho (end of the battle section not path of pain)
Thanks, yeah it’s really hard to record because I don’t have a camera or anything, so I use my iPad that’s just kinda leaning against my open laptop. It’s already hard to get that angle lol
I actually used the same video and am in the process of learning it. I've been playing for over 2 years, and still have no idea how you can do the left hand at the beginning
Good luck! The left hand is very tricky, especially when trying to do it with the right hand at the same time. Keep practicing in parts both slowly and at the normal speed, that’s the best way to learn it.
Please, one doubt from who wanna play piano in a near future, where you find the sheet music of this song? Or you just learn with the wear and learn from different videos with the notes view? Thanks. I play acoustic quitar, but the piano world is a stranger for me. And also, it's so beautiful, so powerful you play. Congratulations 👏

Hooly crap, you're the first pianist I've seen so far able to capture the string section on piano! Super impressive playing!
Thank you so much! I’ve got the video tutorial to thank for the arrangement though, I just had to do the learning!
Piano is a string instrument..
@@thiagovidal6137 really?
@@homestucked Well, it really works on strings but and you can play on strings without playing on keys so... Yeah, piano is also a string instrument

Just saw this in my recommended… phenomenal job. Video game music is so fucking beautiful
Thank you! I absolutely agree. People underestimate just how beautiful and varied video game music can be
I think this is the best reenactment of this song.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that

If I am correct the ending has parts of the pale king theme.
Wow I felt those piano stabs in my soul! This gave me goosebumps, huge kudos!
Thank you!
I know it is not the hardest part, but for me it is the second part that shines. And you played it so beautiful. Your control and range is quite amazing.
Thank you so much! The second part is definitely my favourite to play because of how much freedom I have to express the emotions
This is really good! Love the hollow knight ost, and you definitely did it justice 🔥🔥

Congratulations i think everyone here is in agreement that you are going places with how well you play that
Thankyou for making this even tho this is 2 years later, I'm inspired to learn hollow knight on piano now
Thank you! I hope you keep practising and maybe even get to perform some Hollow Knight pieces :)
