Honestly, this room might be one of the most important ones in the lore. A lot of players noticed it and (sadly) just grabbed the item and left. But it's rather pivotal, a statue that endlessly pours out void from seemingly nowhere. Is this similar to an Oasis, one of the deepest points in the world where Void can collect? Is it the birthplace of the Void, similar to how the Radiance statue at the top of Hallownest was a birthplace for it?
One really HEAVY lore implication is the use of the dream nail to get voidheart charm: the item (I belief it’s the birthplace, I can’t remember exactly) you hit with the dream nail is the ONLY SHOWN REFLECTIVE SURFACE IN THE GAME. The water is implied, glass is implied, and mirrors facing the knight do not reflect. The dream nail appears to be made out of some kind of light. Using this knowledge, we know that the knight does not dream nail the birthplace, it dream nails itself. Its memories are conjured by the sight of the place where its mission began, and its memories overcome, by the reliving of it once more.
I don't think the knight would have this memory, as to have a memory is to have a mind, and the white lady states you are free of impurity. Then again, the pale king could even see the future and still thought it was a good idea to let his child die for nothing, so they're both probably stupid and unable to tell if a vessel is good. I bet the pale king just thought that a vessel with good enough instincts to make it to the top would also just be pure

I remember finding this game accidentally and the reason I bought it because it looked “cute”(and it was cheap) but god was I wrong like seriously I didn’t expect it to be a dark game but netherless an amazingly beautiful one, definitely one of my most favorite games ever to be made
This just makes me all the sadder we'll never get that Abyss Expansion. Imagining the possibilities of swimming deep into the Void lake, seeing all potentials of creatures. Fighting Void monstrosities as we venture ever deeper into the forgotten kingdom. Exploring all kinds of new, creepy atmospheres and areas. This place completely alien to literally everything above. Imagining all the amazing boss fights. Maybe even getting more knowledge on the lifeblood creature. And I'm just imagining at the very end, we find a pool of Void. We jump in and just swim down, it seemingly goes on forever. And as we swim, we could potentially see other vessels, having this or Pale Court play over it slowly as we continue to sink down, deeper into the void. And at the end, just seeing the Void Beast, though there is no bottom. The Knight, reabsorbed into where it came from. Home? There's just something so sad thinking about all the amazing potential that the Void and Abyss had, but won't and most likely never will reach. Ever.

It's been a long time since I've last played Hollow Knight, but still to this day this music gives me goosebumps, it just crawls up my spine, with a feeling I cannot describe, is it greatness? Is it me reviving all my memories since I've last played? I don't know, but I know that this game will always have a place in my heart, as the first real game I've ever played, that made me experience a true history, and really open my eyes to all the indie industry.

Day 201. I don't know what's going on. The guard in the palace has been doubled, and everyone is afraid of something (or someone). The kingdom is unstable, insects are disappearing and soon there will be a civil war. But I don't know what to do. However, the only thing that sustains my sanity are the king's words, and so I will guard this white palace until the end of my existence.
So much about this video feels strange, the absence of a title, the most played portions getting larger until it reaches the end with the most replayed, and this being the channel's first video. It seems made to be stumbled upon only by pure accident, never to be seen again or referenced again.

I just woke up after having the biggest argument with my mother. I'm 19 and for once I decided to put a stop to every time my mother decided to use "physical corrections" and derogatory insults towards me for problems that were not my fault. Now everything is chaos, for holding her wrists and pushing her (to prevent her from continuing to hit me) now she accuses me of hitting her, that I am mentally ill, that she doesn't want me to be at home with my sister because I can "beat her up" (????). My sister hates me because "I treated my mother badly for no reason", my mother treats me as if I were a criminal fresh out of prison, afraid, and my stepfather arrives in a few days from a trip and will find out everything. When it came to hitting me since I was 12, yelling at me, breaking me down, no one said anything at all, no one was afraid of the woman who raised her hand at me for problems that she herself assumed and therefore took for granted. But when it's my turn to be the one who gives A PUSH, all the alarms ring and they mark me as the most horrible being in the world. I'm tired, I'm fed up, I'm empty, they tell me "do you think we're all going to be bad except you????", "If everyone is upset with you, you would have done something, right??", "You don't think you deserve this treatment?" ??" No I dont think so. But for once in my life I stop caring, for once I stop caring if my family misses me, if later they feel bad, if later my mother calls me saying "please come... let's talk, I miss you, we have to be in this together." I no longer have anything left of what I was once able to feel, no pain, no sadness, no regrets, no anger... I just feel empty, it has happened so many times that I just don't care anymore What a good Song for the Moment
Probably one of my favorite things about that bowl is that, if you're just watching it, watching as void bubbles and pulses around it, you can't... exactly tell which way the Void is flowing. Its easy to assume the Void is flowing downwards, but as it is a black silhouette with no true indication of downward flow... you can stare at it and just as easily imagine it flowing upward, into the bowl.
If the connection to void and regret or some other negative emotion is true, then this creature must have one of the most tragic backstories ever, to be pouring out infinite void for all eternity, possibly being the origin of all void.
to be fair, there isn't even a hint about its lore anywhere in the game. searching for its origin would be about as logical as trying to find the lore of some random ass rock in your backyard. meanwhile there's a lot of uncovered stuff about tpk and his lore that IS covered is cool as fuck.

It's origin technically comes from Metroid, it represents a Chozo statue So I think the Devs put this in their game as an Easter Egg in mind, instead of lore/world building

I'd like to think the tune specifically at 1:12 plays to showcase the tragedy within the Hollow Knight universe This plays to show the fate of all your siblings, the struggle the Knight had climbing out of the Abyss only to have the door closed on them The White Palace/ Path of Pain of how desperate the kingdom was to stop the infection and the hardship of that level in geneal And the 2nd phase of the Hollow Knight battle as he gains a grip from the Radiance control and stabs themselves showing this fight isn't some fated battle out of malice, its your sibling who was a tragic victim who wants to be put out of their suffering
This room for me has a kind of strange feeling, like it makes me think how long the insect was there carrying the puddle that infinitely gushes the void, and so on, this room scares me
By far, my biggest question about Hollow Knight is the origin and role of the bug holding the bowl of Void. Did they worship the Shade Lord? How did they even get into the Abyss? Did they have affiliation with the Pale King? Did they ever plan on leaving, or were they imprisoned within the Abyss?
they could be an ancient civilization (which I doubt because that bug is the only insect in the abyss without counting those weird caterpillars and the void bros) could be a helper of pale king because it is impossible that the king has not seen it (the other question is wtf is that bowl and why is it generating infinite void
According to the lore they were an ancient civilazation, even before the pale king arrived. They are dubbed as the void kingdom, they tried to invade all of hallow nest but were defeated by the Radiance when she was still a god, that's why she calls you "the ancient enemy". They were there before the Pale King so there was no seal hiding the abbys, pale king put that. The abbys was sealed far after the void kingdom fell.

I don't know what's going on. The guard in the palace has been doubled, and everyone is afraid of something (or someone). The kingdom is unstable, insects are disappearing and soon there will be a civil war. But I don't know what to do.
However, the only thing that sustains my sanity are the king's words, and so I will guard this white palace until the end of my existence.
So much about this video feels strange, the absence of a title, the most played portions getting larger until it reaches the end with the most replayed, and this being the channel's first video. It seems made to be stumbled upon only by pure accident, never to be seen again or referenced again.

I just woke up after having the biggest argument with my mother. I'm 19 and for once I decided to put a stop to every time my mother decided to use "physical corrections" and derogatory insults towards me for problems that were not my fault. Now everything is chaos, for holding her wrists and pushing her (to prevent her from continuing to hit me) now she accuses me of hitting her, that I am mentally ill, that she doesn't want me to be at home with my sister because I can "beat her up" (????). My sister hates me because "I treated my mother badly for no reason", my mother treats me as if I were a criminal fresh out of prison, afraid, and my stepfather arrives in a few days from a trip and will find out everything. When it came to hitting me since I was 12, yelling at me, breaking me down, no one said anything at all, no one was afraid of the woman who raised her hand at me for problems that she herself assumed and therefore took for granted. But when it's my turn to be the one who gives A PUSH, all the alarms ring and they mark me as the most horrible being in the world. I'm tired, I'm fed up, I'm empty, they tell me "do you think we're all going to be bad except you????", "If everyone is upset with you, you would have done something, right??", "You don't think you deserve this treatment?" ??" No I dont think so. But for once in my life I stop caring, for once I stop caring if my family misses me, if later they feel bad, if later my mother calls me saying "please come... let's talk, I miss you, we have to be in this together." I no longer have anything left of what I was once able to feel, no pain, no sadness, no regrets, no anger... I just feel empty, it has happened so many times that I just don't care anymore

Probably one of my favorite things about that bowl is that, if you're just watching it, watching as void bubbles and pulses around it, you can't... exactly tell which way the Void is flowing. Its easy to assume the Void is flowing downwards, but as it is a black silhouette with no true indication of downward flow... you can stare at it and just as easily imagine it flowing upward, into the bowl.

If the connection to void and regret or some other negative emotion is true, then this creature must have one of the most tragic backstories ever, to be pouring out infinite void for all eternity, possibly being the origin of all void.

i like how everyone doesnt care about the lore of the void or that bug, (i think is the creator of the void) and they just go search the pale king
to be fair, there isn't even a hint about its lore anywhere in the game. searching for its origin would be about as logical as trying to find the lore of some random ass rock in your backyard.
meanwhile there's a lot of uncovered stuff about tpk and his lore that IS covered is cool as fuck.

It's origin technically comes from Metroid, it represents a Chozo statue
So I think the Devs put this in their game as an Easter Egg in mind, instead of lore/world building

I'd like to think the tune specifically at 1:12 plays to showcase the tragedy within the Hollow Knight universe
This plays to show the fate of all your siblings, the struggle the Knight had climbing out of the Abyss only to have the door closed on them
The White Palace/ Path of Pain of how desperate the kingdom was to stop the infection and the hardship of that level in geneal
And the 2nd phase of the Hollow Knight battle as he gains a grip from the Radiance control and stabs themselves showing this fight isn't some fated battle out of malice, its your sibling who was a tragic victim who wants to be put out of their suffering
And here I thought this is going to be another iteration of bad apple, yet, I found this masterpiece.

This room for me has a kind of strange feeling, like it makes me think how long the insect was there carrying the puddle that infinitely gushes the void, and so on, this room scares me
By far, my biggest question about Hollow Knight is the origin and role of the bug holding the bowl of Void.
Did they worship the Shade Lord?
How did they even get into the Abyss?
Did they have affiliation with the Pale King?
Did they ever plan on leaving, or were they imprisoned within the Abyss?
they could be an ancient civilization (which I doubt because that bug is the only insect in the abyss without counting those weird caterpillars and the void bros) could be a helper of pale king because it is impossible that the king has not seen it (the other question is wtf is that bowl and why is it generating infinite void
According to the lore they were an ancient civilazation, even before the pale king arrived. They are dubbed as the void kingdom, they tried to invade all of hallow nest but were defeated by the Radiance when she was still a god, that's why she calls you "the ancient enemy". They were there before the Pale King so there was no seal hiding the abbys, pale king put that. The abbys was sealed far after the void kingdom fell.
