There's something super cool and touching about the line "This has been a recording from the year 2015." Almost like the filmmakers intended to wait five years to share this, to create a feeling of nostalgia. Feels like people from the past reaching through time to give us all some friendly advice.
Not quite. This was recorded for Super Deluxe years ago, but then the channel ended. I’ve been hoping for ages that Joe Pera would re-release it on his own channel. But the clip does have a feeling of nostalgia lol.
Joe has such a talent for finding the right people to work with. Some of them are great, some are so bizarre that they are either awful or great but it doesn't matter, it just works so well.
Language transitions make for good comedic effect. Especially if you’re like me and you only speak English. It goes from understandable to incomprehensible in a matter of seconds.
I'd like to have a last supper type get together with loads of iconic people. That'd be swell. Have the grateful dead there, pythagoras, thoth, probably some other prophets, maybe Jimi Hendrix, George Harrison, fuckin Nikola Tesla, Alan Watts, all the greats.
Well spoken Min. I agree with you completely. I felt liberty when I stopped having my internet.. For once I felt peace. Ugh the PING PING PING noise all the time! The guilt of not answering text on time! The Ads Ads Ads just because I searched up cats eating cockroaches, and now it keeps showing me exterminator and rubber bugs! Google Assistant hearing all my conversations when I talk to my dolls! RESISTANCE!!
Ngl this sketch hit me like a ton of bricks, having now spent 11 weeks in quarantine with parents, tho missing irl contact with friends a helluva lot, uh and also that my small-business-mobile-app-developer dad just introduced me to that shop rite popcorn like a day or two ago. Fucking awesome youtube upload timing there, Joe.
I could not tell you why, but the shot of his friend slowly stepping down from the bar onto the chair was just... perfect, idk why. Maybe it says like in wreck less but still a lil baby but, it struck me as good
I want to preserve this man. He's the only reason I'm able to sleep. I don't say that to put him down. But he just helps me feel comfortable. Like if my Dad was still alive talking to me. I'm 36 years old but still find comfort in Joe's voice & calm demeanor. He's really a God sent.
Pera. Thank you so much. I love watching your videos. They make me so happy. They help me relax. I'm so happy you are in F is For Family now. I hope you get more lines in the next season.
I'm so stoked I could hear on the bartenders accent where he was from. And I'm also very stoked that you actually put some relevant information in the description box, unlike most other creators, so I didn't have to waste hours unnecessarily to confirm my suspicion. Also, thanks for being you, Joe. I'm gonna go throw my phone in the popcorn machine.
I wanna live a simple, humble and serene life like Joe. Maybe in this world and economy is it too much to ask. That's why I cry a little every time I see one of his sketch.
I just sent this message to my fiancée- "After I met you, I couldn't fathom that a world used to exist for me that didn't have you in it. I just thought about that and tantalised the ongoing truth of what a MASSIVE game changer you have been and continue to be in my life. ♥️" - I want to say that if you change the word 'met' to 'found' and 'you' to 'Joe Pera' and 'have' to 'has', the sentence also makes sense.
Thank you for uploading this again!! 😭❤️ I thought it was lost forever when Jash's channel died! It's one of my all time favorite videos (of yours and in general!!) 😊👍🍿🥜
Been working on something this past month that'll be out soon - can't say yet but if you're interested, keep an eye out in the next couple weeks

@@aaronbogert1890 Agree!
I’m pretty sure I’ve seen this before
The "I just had my first beer" line is a perfect example of being patient with your delivery.
Heard that. Also is your avatar from the cover of Corum?
"You listenin' to me??? Look at me, sometimes."
I felt that.
Joe Pera, one of the 7 sane people still left in Michigan.
B. Jr. JOE LIVES IN MICHIGAN?
The Montreal Surprise I think he still lives in Buffalo, New York. But his show “Joe Pera Talks With You” is set in Michigan’s UP.
“i don’t know if it’s the relationship stuff or i just had my first beer” 😂
This is about the death of mystery.
Wow. That’s deep 👍🏿
It's incredible
Joe has such a talent for finding the right people to work with. Some of them are great, some are so bizarre that they are either awful or great but it doesn't matter, it just works so well.
Daniel Simonson is a legend - check out his standup
"everyone get up, we're going to throw Joe's phone into the river"
David Pekarski EVERYONE LET'S GO! FOLLOW ME! WE'RE GOING TO THE RIVER
@@diegolovato5522 this was one of the funniest sketches I've seen in a long time
Nathan absolutely nailed this
YES! I mean, yes.
I wish the foreign guys internal dialogue was in his mother tongue
Language transitions make for good comedic effect. Especially if you’re like me and you only speak English. It goes from understandable to incomprehensible in a matter of seconds.
The most fantastic delight ever delivered to me by TH-cam notifications.
1:35-2:28 is what it’s like when you’re in public and the edibles start to kick in
Nathan Min is so underrated.
Really good performance here wow
I just want to sit down, have a couple of Brews and have a nice conversation with Joe. It’s my dream
Uggghh sounds so nice
I'd like to have a last supper type get together with loads of iconic people. That'd be swell. Have the grateful dead there, pythagoras, thoth, probably some other prophets, maybe Jimi Hendrix, George Harrison, fuckin Nikola Tesla, Alan Watts, all the greats.
"i wanna talk to you in person because thats the best version of you that i can get"
"Are you listening to me? Look at me sometimes." lol
Joe, you're like warm milk. I say this sincerely. I love warm milk.
This feels like a Connor sketch. Absolutely amazing.
I missed this... this quality content. Joe never leave us again
“You know the Matrix?..........We’re in the Matrix”
Joe I've missed you here.
Joe this is art
Did not expect to see the guy from house of fools in a joe pera video. This is great!
Yeah he is great, I wonder if house of fools is seen much in America...I really like his character...something very interesting about him
I just discovered this channel yesterday and was binging it just then. What are the odds?
I just automatically assumed this vid was 3+ years old
"Texting, social media, apps." Genius line.
How did youtube not show me this on my front page. this is gold.
Nathan really shines in this one. Wow.
This opened my eyes.
I'm watching this on a phone.
Thank you Amdraz.
Joe, thank you. Your show has reminded me what the human standard is. I'd forgotten, sadly.
Real nice to see you Joe.
Thanks for sharing this Joe. Little gems like these are what society needs during these tough times.
We need way more Joe Pera. The amount we have now is practically starving us.
This is excellent. Funny and surprisingly accomplished example of three act structure.
I dream of the day that I meet Joe. He’s the perfect human.
Well spoken Min. I agree with you completely. I felt liberty when I stopped having my internet.. For once I felt peace. Ugh the PING PING PING noise all the time! It used to be me making those rants. I gave up because no one would throw their phone in the river but me.
Watching Joe Pera videos is the same feeling as when the barber put a hot towel on your face
I enjoyed watching that on my phone.
Joe Pera needs his own movie.
We need the final 300 episodes of the basketball series
Yes.
I could not tell you why, but the shot of his friend slowly stepping down from the bar onto the chair was just... perfect, idk why. Maybe it says like in wreck less but still a lil baby but, it struck me as good
All I want is to be friends with Joe Pera.
so much chill and pure good energy.
The hero we needed
Yessssss! Our humble king has come back!
Pera. Thank you so much. I love watching your videos. They make me so happy. They help me relax. I'm so happy you are in F is For Family now. I hope you get more lines in the next season.
I’m so glad I kept watching this. What a speech.
Beautiful direction by Dr. Melfi.
This is seriosly amazing Joe Pera!
Thank you for being the perfect Mr. Rogers/Garrison Keillor/Scott Aukerman hybrid that warms our hearts Joe.
The whole time I'm thinking...who in the first place brings a baby to a bar 🤣
Joe Pera puts me in a better mood every time, what a delightful character.
"And the truth is this.. The Terminator is real, and its name is Siri!" Fuckin out of left field! Lmfao!
It should have been an app to help find free tomatoes.
I'm so stoked I could hear on the bartenders accent where he was from. And I'm also very stoked that you actually put some relevant information in the description box, unlike most other creators, so I didn't have to waste hours unnecessarily to confirm my suspicion. Also, thanks for being you, Joe.

A Perfect Sunday reunion!
It's good to be positive and keep a good attitude when you're outside. Thank you!
Are you listening to me?! Great work, Nathan Min!
Four years, we missed him
The Terminator is real and it’s name is Siri!
Such a good skit, but so much truth and warm fuzzy feels watching this.
I'll never get old of this sketch.
Merry Christmas to you Joe, you're a national treasure..... But it's May my dude.
Joe Pera is exactly what we need during quarantine.
Okay joe, and thanks for all the shows you've done.ive really enjoyed Thema lot.
This has certainly given me a lot to think about. It's like a blindfold has been removed from my eyes.
Joe is my favorite 20-something grandfather
Beginning of the video: Nate's voice is so smooth and tepid. Middle of the video: "WE'RE ALL GOING TO THROW JOE'S PHONE INTO THE RIVER"
I wanna live a simple, humble and serene life like Joe. Maybe in this world and economy is it too much to ask. That's why I cry a little every time I see one of his sketch.
how many layers of irony is this under
JOE PERA. You rly need to do your own podcast show!!! WE NEED IT!
I am so glad this is back online!
I'm an amateur app developer and Joe I'd love to make this app for you. Im taking a gap semester so I'll have the free time
I bet the guy at 4:12 is wishing he had an app to tell him when Min isn't there.
Yesssss right after my birthday. Thank you so much for this gift.
Joe, please make more content, we really need it now.
Still waiting for that one sketch where Joe starts yelling his lung out like R Lee Ermey at someone
Haven't seen Nathan and you together since the perfect week. This is so rad oooooooeeeeeeeeeeee.
Joe, please don't ever disappear on us again.
He’s back. Finally back.
Why did this suddenly turn into black mirror
Thank you for uploading this again!! 😭❤️ I thought it was lost forever when Jash's channel died! It's one of my all time favorite videos (of yours and in general!!) 😊👍🍿🥜
Daniel Simonsen's standup is so funny and definitely worth checking out
Joe, when you referred to yourself as Dr. Jennifer Melfi I had a good laugh. I'll watch the video now. Thanks for that.
Thank you joe and friends!
Tbh at first I thought this was just more evidence of Nathan's predeliction for married women. Then it was actually about popcorn. And the Terminator.
great concept!
Love you joe hope you’re staying safe
The moment when he said he had his first beer made me laugh lol.
Nice to have you back Joe!
Glad to see Dr. Melfi herself directed this.
Huh. So this is what the post-quarantine bar scene will look like.
Thanks for uploading this Joe!
