I'm from Brazil and this instrument is very popular in Gaucha music (a style from the south of the country). I was pleased to see that this instrument is still played in several countries. If you are interested in Brazilian musicians who play this instrument, it is worth searching for Tio Bilia, Gilberto Monteiro, Sadi cardoss, Edilberto Bergamo... We have several but these are a good start lol
I love this song, the fast change of pace. The bit before the chorus sounds a lot like irish folk music which I love! I could imagine this song would be nice on a mandolin as well. I heard the original on P1 radio (svensk) and then when I searched for it here I found your version. And as an musician myself, though no experience of accordion, only guitar, piano and some drums, I have to say, very well played.
Absolut! Ett spel i C/F och ett i D/G (som jag spelar på här) fungerar precis likadant. Men du kommer att behöva spela den i F-dur istället för i G-dur. Det är dock samma fingersättning.
