I lived near Bluemont from the 1980s through about 2012, I was a member of Bluemont Morris, and I attended Bluemont contra dances during this time. Yes, it's nice to see how far it's traveled.
This is a really beautiful melody. It's the first time I've heard it, but there's something familiar, something comforting, almost timeless about it. I'm a chromatic player, but I'd love to make this my next project piece. Effortlessly played, plenty of feeling - Thank You.
This is the BEST rendition of this I have ever heard and watching you play with your fingers dancing over the keys and you arm using the bellows is perfect!
Fantastic. Never heard this tune before but fell in love with it when I heard your version. Just learnt it in my B/C Paolo soprani and sounds great (but doesn't quite have all the right base notes to suit which is a shame). What key is your box here? Might have to get of these. Fantastic playing. Well done 👏 🪗 🇮🇪
Hi Edvin, I’ve just stumbled on your channel and have subscribed, you’ve inspired me to take up BC Melodeon, just wondering what the make and mode is that you are playing as it sounds amazing Many Thanks Ron
Awh man!!! You played that beautifully. I just loved it. Bags of expression, bounce and lilt. I am hoping to get a Club 3M. The bass was fantastic. Did you amplify the bass? How did you record that? Thank you for your lovely playing. Pete
Thank you so much! 🙏🏻 I’ve used the same mics to record all my videos. It’s a T-bone Ovid CC 100 on the bass side, and a Scarlett CM25 (I think) on the treble side. And I did some EQ adjustments, added some compression and reverb. So glad you liked it!
My Hohner club3M has not come from Germany yet but In the meantime I have picked up a glorious Hohner Morino club N. I hope you do some more club videos as there are not so many club players around now. I do think they are coming back in now though? Peter
I don’t consider myself to be good enough to teach. Especially in the theoretical parts. You should ask Paul Young or Mel Biggs. They’ll be more than happy to teach :)

Hi - one of my students really likes a couple of your arrangements - this one and Flenmo Skänklåt. I hope you won't object to me teaching them. I have had to adjust the tunes a bit because they don't have exactly the same melodeons as you but I've definitely kept the spirit of your arrangements. I'll post my performances of them when they're done and I'll obviously credit you both on the sheet music and the videos. Very best wishes. Lovely playing by the way!!
@@Edvinaronson That's so generous of you! You have definitely inspired us both! I am just about to record The Bluemont Waltz. I am doing it in E flat on a B flat E flat Hohner Liliput and it sounds lovely. Thank you so much for allowing me to use your arrangements - I really hope you will be pleased with what I do with them. I have subscribed to your channel and look forward to more videos from you in the future. All the best to you from the UK. Les
Great playing on one of the most underrated instruments.
Thanks 😄💪🏻
I am in NH, and know the author of this tune, how nice to see how far it has travelled.

One of my late dear friends loved this tune. Every time it is played, we remember him with affection.
I’m sorry to hear that 🌹
I could listen to this one several times a day and it makes me smile every time. 😊 Thanks Edvin

Hello! So glad you liked it :)
I don’t own this one anymore but it was a C/F box. C/F Club system to be precise. I bet it sounds wonderful on a Paolo!
Nice. Reminds of Luften's Siste...
True! Just checked it out. Thank you!
