    Been racing off road for years, just bought a tc to tryout on road. Set up process is much more precise. Very informative, I will obviously be buying a set up station. Thank you for the tutorial.

    This is great! thank you, for a beginner like myself this is extremely helpful! Another video idea would be to show how to tune the car. For example, showing us how to fix under steering, or making it have more aggressive steering, just all around how to tune a touring car would truly be a great video, I have not seen any online yet.

      Thank you for the feedback! That is an hard one as there are many variables. We will think how we can actually do one👌

    Well, that demystifies things a bit doesn't it! New to on-road, have an older TC chassis but will eventually buy a better one if I enjoy it!

    Great vid! I’m assuming you should always follow the steps in this order… is that right?

      That is correct

      @@HearnsHobbiesMelbourne Also, i noticed in all videos about touring cars people always keep the battery in the car. Is there a reason for that or is it just because it looks better? Thanks!

    • @HearnsHobbiesMelbourne
      @HearnsHobbiesMelbourne  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Do you mean when the chassis is being setup? The battery is a large component of the overall weight and needs to be in the car to setup correctly.

    Thanks so much for the detailed information.
    How would you setup the chamber and toe without the station? I broke the ball cup in my sprint 2 flux and I will replace the whole tie link so how should I go about doing it to get perfect measurements?

    • @HearnsHobbiesMelbourne
      @HearnsHobbiesMelbourne  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can measure the link on the other side of the car and make it a similar length. Sometime instructions can give the indicative length of the links. The are some cheap plastic camber gauges that can do the trick as well. Fail the above you have to go by eye...

    What does it look like your steering is straight it your bell ranks are pointing left

    • @HearnsHobbiesMelbourne
      @HearnsHobbiesMelbourne  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If that is the case you should check the length of your turnbuckles and make it even, then work on your set up
