Nice video. Had one of these and still have it and another here as it was my first computer. Also in 1984 got a T/S 2068 that could have been fantastic if they Timex didn’t go with their own custom ROM.
Somehow, these machines are still very popular. I never owned one, but I always wanted one. 🙂 So the T/S 2068 was not compatible anymore with the spectrum software?
@@ezContents That is correct - Timex had their own ROM made and it was wholly incompatible with the ZX Spectrum and all of its software. Of course when I was 14 -15 I had no idea all I knew is the games I wanted for it had to be ported from the Spectrum. There's a story on it somewhere on TH-cam, look at the 8-bit guy he has a history on it. The 2068 was a nice machine and I made a lot of programs on it.
