Crap my good fellow. Not all tanks are equal. Not all games are equal. Not all crews are equal. Not all guns are equal. And not all maps are equal or fitting your play style or tank you are using at that time you get a certain map. More over in 9500 battles i have played so far have i ever had a game where it's a given i could go in front and spot why because I'd die, why because of other spotters on map cutting into my own cammo and not having 28 perks on a crew for my tank. So the game has taught me one thing don't move forward to die like a muppet. I use mostly TDs but not all the time. E25 5 perks on tank.. win rate 33%.... i am running all the goods and great cammo, survival rate 27 % and it's not because i am a muppet. It's down to being fucked over by war gaming... and the algorithms. They have hidden stats for the tanks, so why not for the gamer playing.? I have 2 accounts and they could not be more different in WN8 or win rates, Yet i play the same way for both accounts. So please explain that to me. Doing at my stage or level in the game damage 2800 + in a tier IV tank or a tier IV TD 2700 + is not playing like a muppet . I played with you in the Eu server sometime ago and we were the only two players left and we pulled a game back form being 7 / 1 down i was in a T28 and got 1900 damage. yet i play games on certain nights and get killed with 0 damage, spotters sees me and i am one shot to the tier VI tanks.. Wot are killing the game off. I read so many of you're posts where ppl say they just wont play no more and i cannot blame them. I for one will more than likely join those ranks.
cofee is good i switched to an italian cofee pot on you recomendation. and the brand of coffee too. but i digress. great spotting.NICK you wisely chose when to shoot and your target selection also wise
Just to add to my previous post the player you showed in that game was not a beginner and more likely has played thousands of games and have most if not all the perks for that tank. And as you stated in the video speed is key... Try doing what he did in a Valiant tier V tank.. No ? Because it's not a spotter tank. So if you don't have a spotter with 100 perks and 500000 battles on your side you're up shit creek. I had a game last night in my M8A1 and barely got 500 damage why because or 5 spotter tanks on other side which you cannot hit. Yes i am right he's played 41000 battles with WN8 of 1773 with a 36 % win rate in that tank however he's only played 11 games in that tank so far and more likely moved a good crew to that tank to obtain those scores. I rest my case. Btw good morning to you also.
Saw something like this the other day, on that Arctic Region map. No light tanks, only a couple mediums, and nobody goes middle ridge. Our Rock Star Super Hellcat assessed the lineup, and spent the game spotting from the middle ridge, lighting up most of the enemy team. He even got a good amount of actual damage by putting in cheeky shots when possible. We would have been screwed if not for him. Claus once said that Sometimes all it takes to lose a game is one player not paying attention and going somewhere foolish... The reverse is also true: Sometimes all it takes to win a game is one player putting on their big people britches, and doing what needs to be done.
Claus; you are a better commentator/instructor drunk, hung over and exhausted than 90% of You-Tubers. And you managed to be hilarious doing so. Great video and thank you for your service! ;-)
1:20 - when I position myself in place this guy just did, usually I'm dead within thirty seconds, because half of enemy team starts shooting at me. No, hiding in the bush does not help. I still can't see them, but somehow, they can see me.
Awesome game. The first medium did not spot our hero, phew. It could have been over real fast. The bushes can be tricky though. Many times I had games, sitting deep into the bushes and enemy tanks turn up right next to me. Then it's too late to do much. Our hero was above the enemies, perfect position for scouting and real exposed, if they had spotted him. Big risk - big win, when it works. Super Hellcat, thanks for sharing a video about it.
I agree. That initial move going that deep is very risky. It worked this time but if he had of been spotted he would of quickly exploded. When you pull a move like that you have to accept yes this could be huge OR it could be an epic failure and quick trip back to the garage.
When spotting is what you need...this map is king, I've done 9.4k spotting here in my LT-432, you just need a team that see's what's happening and keeps moving up just enough to keep killing.
He got more spotting assist in the first 30 seconds than I sometimes get in an entire game of active or passive scouting. Sometimes it doesn't matter how many people you keep spotted , what matters is if your team shoots them and they can't shoot the enemy if they are not in position to shoot them or if they are busy picking their nose and examining the boogers.
AMX: "What's happening?? All my buddies sitting in the open are exploding, and I am sitting in the bush and nothing is happening to me. How about I go outside the bush to see if I also explode???"
I have gotten better in this game. When i started my win% was 47%. Now its 51% and i have been playing sence 2013 with over 30k games played. But i have noticed the player base is getting worse for some reason. Most game are 15-5 win or loss.
This means that u playing wot for 6 months. Without stop. Imagine that. Wow I have calculated 30k battles with average time of 7,5 minutes per one battle.
Its cause u get more reward for skill in other games. So skilled players get more fullflillment from getting benifits from their correct input. Rng games are for children, ur almost watching a game instead of playing in it
lol, I remember being in HS and we could ski behind a car, in Etobicoke, in the winter... we actually had snow back then in Toronto. Miss being able to commute like that.
Wrong. The Cookie Monster would be sitting in a bush, quietly munching on cookies and spotting other tanks, because Cookie Monster does not share cookies.
From what I've seen, the bushes add only just a few percents to your detection. I'm not sure if that's true if that's how it works but I know that the bushes make a big difference
I love these maps, or any good arty maps. Spotting for arty is one of the best ways to make credits. My least favorite map is Dummbelsdorf, very few passive spotting opportunities and in urban environment I constantly get penned and all my shots bounce...so I just spot

I know your pain. As a teacher, these days do happen and you need to have a set formula for getting through them that will always work. Today the technology is different and there are more options but when I was in high school, the teacher would pull out some handout that were easy to complete and then the VCR\DVD gets wheeled out, lights go down and so do the teacher's eyelids. You got the right idea man, review something easy...this is no time for problem solving or getting loud...something easy and quiet
One of the hardest lessons to learn when you are spotting like this is NOT to shoot! Don't give away your position and stay alive to keep the spotting going. It's so tempting to take a cheeky shot but that is a sure fire way to end up observing a game which you could have one. The damage for this type of play always comes at the end once the clean up starts. Patience is key.
Indeed it is so - last night I was gifted with this w/my Hummel - other spawn - green didn't die - red heavies stayed spotted, lotta fun dropping bombs ...
