Remember folks that there are a lot of other tabletop roleplaying games than D&D. D&D tries to be everything all at once -- tactical combat, roleplay, exploration -- but is the master of none. If youre more down for roleplay focused stuff that's infinitely easier to learn and focuses more on diverse stories, maybe check out stuff in the Powered by the Apocalypse style of games. I recommend Masks.
Otherwise, if youre more into being scrappy little deviants who want to get the loot and scram without having to learn what feels like quantum physics, play Mausritter. (It's also free.)
If you want reallt complex snd deep combat, try Lancer.
But Blades in the Dark is the best and I will not be accepting any criticism at this time lol

I don't know what this woke crap is, but the original Dungeons and Dragons was ALWAYS inclusive.
    This nonsense is absolutely not.

The community, yes. The game itself: Just look at the portrayal of the Vistani in Curse of Strahd.

@@Tylernal Yes when people were brave enough to use stereotypes like evil (white) necromancers and people wouldn't be so fragile as to be offended by it.
Come to think of it, I played with some eastern European players who where likely had gypsy heritage in the Ravenloft setting and they loved all of it.
Only difference is there weren't any crybullies willing to be overly offended on everyone else's behalf back then.

Well seeing as how this game used to be thought of as devil worship, and you would "die" by your own hand when your PC died. I'd say it's way more inclusive. 15yrs ago I never saw any people of color or women when we'd play at the cornerstore library. Now you see all walks of life trying to explore their imagination. Just think you're a pessimist is all.
