    I had the ping G 400 and changed to AP3 and now game Apex19. Honestly love the look and the simplicity of the Ping G lineup. These new ones look so good that I’m tempted, but I remembered how big they are and the lack of feel on miss hits.

    I play the Ping i e1 players irons from 2015. I adore them. I see so much of those clubs starting to blend into the look and tech in these game improvement irons. I believe the i e1 irons evolved into the i200 series. I can't wait to see the next version of the i players irons with all the tech from the G425 but the thinner top line and less offset.

    I've been playing Ping Zing clubs since they cam out in the early '90's. Now that I' 68, I'm hitting those irons 15 yards less than several years ago. I just went for an iron fitting, and the G425's were by far the best fit for me. With the senior flex graphic shafts, I had a much tighter grouping than all the other clubs I tried, including my Zings, and I got the 15 yards back.

      sounds like me, i'm 72 and have 8 yr old ping i-25 clubs. i went to a golf shop the other day and hit a new club with graphite R shaft and the head had a stronger loft and bang i gained like 20+ yards instantly and didn't have to swing any harder. it's like i'm 38 again but not sure if i'm gonna buy, i'm not that vain.

    As a lower handicapper who’s getting on a bit, I’d love the extra carry these clubs might bring! The dilemma is getting it to stop!
    What ground condition evaluation do shot simulators work with, as they all seem to have the ball run out a fair distance after landing? I’d want to test what zip I’d get when landing these clubs on a real green.

    Hi mark great video I picked up a set of ping g425 irons which were only played a few times traded in my Taylor made m2 irons which for some reason I couldn't get on with nice club though , I played the pings on the course and found a huge difference in accuracy and was holding the green with a six iron which for me is unheard of , I'm playing off 26 and like you say the confidence just looking down at address made me feel like I could hit a really nice shot , I feel that the finish on these clubs because they are all one finish without any shiny chrome and bits of Matt like on some clubs helped me concentrate and they have a classy look to them

    • @CtrlAltMoto
      @CtrlAltMoto 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Forgive me as I'm new to golf. I would be happy to research the company to understand better what you're expressing but how is it different from any other company, especially surrounding buying their clubs/getting fitted and not needing to change until my heart desires, isn't that the case for anything. You buy it, try it, and change if it doesn't suit you? Are they doing something extra as a company?

    • @jamesbrown6372
      @jamesbrown6372 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CtrlAltMoto it’s different from other companies because others show their core objectives are to make money and they do this by bringing out new clubs every year and aggressively marketing them as superior to the yr prior. Ping market themselves as a golf life style brand, one for your golf journey, one for the family and one with their best interests are their clients. Ping as a brand are like Apple (the good one with Steve Jobs)

    G425 irons are very nice looking irons. Would love to test them but what would they go up against? SIM, cobra rads and mavericks, I presume?! Would the apex and P790 be fitted to a better player?

    I have the Ping G irons. Would like to hear your opinion on whether it would be a good idea to update to the G425.

    Legit question , I still play Ping G15 irons. I hit them great and I love them. Am I really missing something by not “upgrading “?

    If I had to have a full bag fitting from one manufacturer it would definitely be ping. They just make solid quality equipment.

    I believe I read somewhere you can get these in retro lofts for those of you who don't like the strong lofts we seem to get these days

    Yep you caught me giggling 🤗 when you MISSED the green 😜. Is there any/much difference between the 425 & the g710. I'm thinking of upgrading my old g10.how much stonger are the lofts.🤔🤔

    Hi Mark, I like to hit my shots high not bother getting the ball far so do you think I should get the retro loft instead?

    Great review again bruh, ping just make quality stuff, you probably don't need to review their equipment much any more because you know what is coming just quality 👏 👍

    For me it depends on the price ive gamed the Speedzone and cut 10 of handicap they are roughly £600 a set 5-gw, everything a high handicapper wants forgiveness distance etc. If these come out £800 I don't think I could justify the extra £200 however I game the G410i driver it just works. My new dilemma is I like the control I get of the King MIM wedges and fancy blending say Mizuno MP20 range as I do get the odd wowser that just flys of 200+ from the speedzones on a 7 iron and can fly oob long

    Came from Nike Slingshots to G425s...and am smoking the golf balls (Vice) with these; plus these clubs have so much forgiveness. Glad I bought these.

    I will be testing when lockdown ends, in the market for new irons after struggling for 2 seasons with mizuno jpx919 hot metals. Keen to know your thoughts on a comparison on the g425 and g710’s?

    Nice looking better aesthetically then 400 and 410 irons but do the same thing which is good and what ping do... I've used the G series irons for over 5 years now bet they do the same thing 👍👍👍

    Dunno why Mark was unenthusiastic. Mark could use these in the bag based on the numbers. Half the dispersion. 10mph higher ball speed. 15y more carry. Only a few degrees lower descent angle. Lofts seem jacked a few degrees so half a club difference yet better dispersion makes it a winner
