It's great to see you guys branching away from just Siemens. Not that there is anything wrong with siemens, but there is a lot of ABB, Allen-Bradley, and such out there too.
This video surely provides great learning experience. Kindly make more of such videos for different PLC and HMI brands like Siemens, Allen Bradley etc.
Thanks for your kind comment, Zafar! We appreciate your feedback and topic suggestions, I will make sure to forward this to our course developers. Happy learning!
Realpars team, I always see your topics and it helps everytime. Please make specific videos on WinCC/TIA portal to create animation of a project as well as creating tags.
That's great to hear, David! Thanks a lot for your positive feedback! I will make sure to forward this to our course developers as well. Thanks again for sharing and happy learning!
I have automated similar processes with A-B and ABB. Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, and many others could be used as well. Each of these PLCs can certainly handle the logic for a concrete brick machine, as each manufacturer makes CPU models suitable for single machine control.
AI523 is an analog input card (interface). It can supply loop power (4-20ma @ 24VDC) to each channel, so in that sense, it is active. It can also be configured for RTD inputs, which could be considered passive.
I wouldn't say that ABB is one of the leading PLC manufacturer in the world. At least from my experience, that is not small. Leading brands of PLCs are Allen-Bradley and Siemens and that's it.After them you have several blank spaces and than maybe ABB,Omron, etc...

They could be very good but last thing I need is more software. I'll stick with AB

Which plc is used to automate a concrete brick machine?

Happy learning!
Any plans to introduce Delta PLC in the future videos? They're getting very popular now.
Hi Murillo,

Excuse me, ai523 module is an active or a passive?

Not leading PLC manufacturer, but #1 in DCS production.
