Yep, citrus needs that first cold snap to sweeten the fruit. Otherwise it will be tart. Have a great day 😊.

From Live Oak, Florida. Our tangerine trees are young but we harvested ten fruit from one of two trees. The best tasting and sweetest we have had ever, no comparison with any from a grocery store. How ever our lemon tree gave us a very large number of very large lemons many the size of base balls and larger. Have you ever heard of lemon marmalade? How can we preserve lemons?
I spent time in Seville on two occasions when I was in the navy in the seventies. A beautiful city I really like the old well kept parts of the city with streets only wide enough for one mid sized car. And the old beautiful buildings and common squares was a site that I have always remembered. Just a side note of long time ago.

Yes! You can make marmalade from Lemons. I'd probably add some brown sugar on top of the 5 1/2 cups and maybe some vanilla to add some sweetness. Also, I'd imagine it'd be really great with some spice added, i.e. tabasco, habanero etc

Thanks for the reply. We never canned before but we are going to now. What brand automatic pressure cooker do you use. I’m going to start with that. Again thanks for your help and your videos.
