  • What's up y'all? We got a new to me bird. So y'all know I have to crash and paint it before it's a BullyBreed RC bird! The V900 is no different. Absolutely my fastest in the sky. Speed trials will be the next vid! Maybe we do an air vs gound speed trial with the Steed vs Blade (yep... just decided the V900 is Blade. Was almost Deadpool) 🤔🤔🤔 What do y'all think?
    Thanks for watching 👊🏿

I always launch mine in safe. plus if you update the receiver to the as3x plus it has hand launch assist. so far no crashes that way. but I have lost a few props! great job sticking with it man!

Thanks! SAFE definitely makes hand launches easier. The next couple after this vid were WAY better. I'm definitely 3 props in already 🤣. It'd be a shame to have given up on the plane!

Dude,,, you are hard on these planes.
That first attempt where you said " it went crazy" was clearly tail heavy.
Have you ever assembled a balsa model ?

That's why I completely rearranged the layout to fix the cg by the next attempt. I also buy them used because I know I'm going to crash it. No... I'm not touching a balsa model when I've barely been flyin a year. Nor do I have that kind of time. I'm having fun with foamies 🤷🏿‍♂️

From experience, I always throw lefty even though I am a righty, because then I have my hand on controls not the throttle, I tend to fly without AS3X and safe since I fly ELRS but either way throwing lefty is the way to go, much easier and much more control overall in my opinion

After I finally got a flight, U realized the hand launch waa WAY easier than I made it. Just needed to throw it like I meant it 🤣

These type of planes are so difficult to dial in. I have the efxtra from hobby king and it's the same thing. I bought 2 and couldn't get the first one to fly. The second one is still in the box and sitting in my closet for 3 years brand new never been opened.

I got the efxtra shortly after I lawn darted the v900 into the ground at 120mph ish 🤣. Immediately crashed the efxtra. You're right, but I love the challenge. The efxtra is now my only bird without gyro. The hand launch was the cause of all but 1 crash between the 2 planes. I finally learned to throw it like I mean it and got good at repairs. Good luck with yours!!

My v900 randomly turns off in the air, it already has done it 3 times, I’m not fixing it. It takes 2 months to get eflight parts in Europe.

Can't you just use your iwn parts to repair it? Or do they use proprietary connectors

That bites. I'd swap it with Hobbywing and call it a day! 👊🏿

All the electronics can be swapped to any brand. And you can choose your own connectors if you're willing to solder 👊🏿

@@BullyBreedRC this is what I was thinking! Get your own receiver in there maybe? And do the bodywork DIY?

@@CnRSPACE 100%! Mine had a reciever swap, paint and xt60 connections before I had the maiden. But to each their own. That's the beauty of the hobby. Some folks just want a RTF plane that works and won't di repairs. Some of us will fix stuff with packing foam, tape and glue 22 times before ordering new parts 🤣
