    I'm a male, 42yrs old. Started using this at night, as a night cream/mask. Using Dr Jart Ceramidin Cream Mist > Medik8 Eye Retinoate > Retinal 0.2% > NMF + Phytoceramides and it has completed my routine. Was using either Dr Jart Sleep Ampoule Mask, Geek & Gorg Happier Barrier, Or CosRX Overnight Rice Mask, but this has taken 1st place. Hydrates to the gods and notice my combo skin is far less oily during the day.

    I've been using this moisturizer for two weeks now. I really love it. I have sensitive skin and I haven't had any irritation using this product. I like the way it makes my skin look. Very hydrated and youthful.

    I know you know this, Ashley, 😉😊 but for some it’s good to clarify/remind: Dry and dehydrated are different. Hydrating and moisturizing are different. I have extremely dry skin. But it’s not dehydrated. I layer hydrating & moisturizing treatment serums and in spring and summer, the original NMF works for me. In fall and winter I need more. So this would be ideal for those seasons. (I currently use SkinFix barrier+ cream in fall winter, and just switched to the Byoma rich cream when I ran out of that… to try for spring. And I like it a lot, too. Might try this in fall tho…J. 👍🇨🇦💕

      I was thinking similarly, that this new one might be best in winter (northern climate) and the other one in summer. I often prefer an oil-free moisturizer in summer, during the day.

      @@TrappedQue what the heck? They aren’t morons. They are smart women, and I would bet money they know the difference between dry and dehydrated 🙄. There’s no reason to offer unsolicited explanations. It just makes you look distasteful, and tactless.

    I totally agree. I love this new moisturizer! I love the price for the 100ml as I can confidently replace my $70/50ml Skinfix!! The original NMF was never enough for my skin unless I added amino acids or an oil. This new one keeps my skin soft and hydrated all night and works well under sunscreen and foundation- no pilling.

    Please, keep us updated on this and the new eye serum as you continue using them. You said there is a little bit of a price difference, but it is almost double the price of the older products, so a review of the results you are getting would be highly appreciated.

    Hey! I’ve also been loving the new moisturizer by The Ordinary. I like it a lot more than their first product. But I must say, I always mix two drops of Pycnogenol 5% in with their original moisturizer. That was the only way I enjoyed how their product felt. Now that I have their new moisturizer, I will probably use the new one more often. But I will continue to mix a couple drops of Pycnogenol 5% in with it.

    I just saw this on Gothamista’s channel and gave it a go because she too, has dry skin, like myself. It’s fantastic! I also bought the original moisturiser many years ago and didn’t like it. Because of that, unfortunately I never tried any other products from them. I’m looking forward to trying more products from The Ordinary and exploring your channel ☺️

    Hi Ashley. Hope you are doing well. This video was perfect timing, I've been looking for a new moisturizer & was considering trying the one from The Ordinary. Thanks again. Do you use face masks? If so, do you have any recommendations for a good pore reducing as well as cleaning clogged pores? Have a great remainder of the week. 💙💜

    I love what I hear in this video! I just received it, I want to try it as a night moisturizer. The one I've been using for a long time doesn't work as well for me as it used to.
    I love The Ordinary, but I didn't like their first moisturizer either, after trying it as a daytime moisturizer. Like you, I always felt like I wanted more. Which is not a plus, considering my skin is sensitive and dry.
    That being said, I only have one application of this new moisturizer done, but I can already tell that we're in a different league than their first moisturizer! If I like what I see after this first tube, it may very well become my nighttime moisturizer in my daily routine. Thanks for your review!

    • @SincerelyMissAsh
      @SincerelyMissAsh  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I love the NMF + Beta Glucan and have talked about it a few times in recent videos. It's great for all skin types, especially combo/oily/normal skin as it's a gel formulation that is super lightweight. It may not be moisturizing enough for dry skin or for the winter months but it's a nice option for someone that prefers a gel texture that is lightweight.

    Eye serums and creams are a RIP OFF. Check the ingredients of any eye cream or serum then the ingredients list of the same named face moisturizer or serum. Other than 1 or 2 changes to protect themselves, the ingredients are the same AND eye products come in smaller sizes and often cost more. Seriously nearly all face creams and serums are safe to use around the eye area.

    I am getting so disgusted with The Ordinary’s prices. The whole purpose of the name “The Ordinary” and the line, is to keep the products simple. Because they’re limited in their ingredients, we’re supposed to create our own skincare regimen, which may cause us to buy several different products. Well….they seem to be keeping their serums simple, but raising their prices. If I’m going to pay high prices, I might as well buy a product that has all the ingredients combined, instead of The Ordinary products, that are all targeted for different skin concerns. These prices contradict their original purpose. It seems they had their prices low in the beginning, just to lure us consumers in, and now bam, they’re jacking up their prices. 🤬. However, I will say, I do love the looks of this new moisturizer! As soon as I read the ingredients and saw Xylitylglucoside, and Xylitol in it, I was sold! I always make sure all my moisturizing products contain these ingredients. These ingredients are what makes the products feel slippery, lightweight, yet really moisturizing. They are my favorite skincare ingredients.

    • @MrBones105
      @MrBones105 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do agree, I’ve noticed their prices going up and up as time has gone on. But I also heard that some of the ingredients in this particular one are hard to make/expensive which is why it costs so much. I just hope they stay aware of what initially brought them success
