    Thank you Ashley. Your videos are always helpful and informative. I just purchased my first bottle of the Anhydrous solution. It was actually by mistake. I planned of buying the Salicylic Acid (white bottle) but when I got home, I realized it was the Anhydrous (brown bottle). I can't do comparison but my skin likes the one I got.

    So excited it's back!! I actually bought the new version with the squalene which I'm using now and will okay for the winter. but happy to see the old ones back cuz in the summer my skin, my pores get super clogged with sebaceous filaments. because of my anxiety I skin pick and since finding that a few years ago and has been life-changing for my habit to not damage my skin.

      Yes!!! The Anhydrous is great for winter and the other one would be perfect for summer 💁🏼‍♀️

    i have oily skin sometimes dry due to medication but the anhydrous works great for me, I personally never had problems with thick creams or the anhydrous solution.
    It´s really a great product and i´m glad it came out bc I never really tolerated any water based bha´s.
    love your review btw

    I’ve been using the Salicylic Acid with Squalene. It was good during the winter months when my skin was dryer. I’ve since then incorporated Retin-A with Azelaic acid every second day. That’s been a big changer. I know happily use the new Salicylic Solution and have rid my chin of annoying clogged white heads. I also use the Salicylic mask once a week. I use to also use the Red Peel AHA/BHA ( imported from the UK cause I’m ) Canadian. This, I no longer need 😢

    Is it normal for it to sting just a little? Also i use it after the HA serum and when i put it it creates like clumps that come off and i suppose its the HA serum. But i cant put the anyhdrous solution before the water one. Is there something im doing wrong? Also i wait at least 10 min between steps.

    I don’t use BHA too much these days. But if I were to get one for my nose, I would get the anhydrous one.
    I found the original to be too irritating as well. I wasn’t one of those that missed this product when it disappeared. I totally agree with your reviews 😊

    Heyy thank you so much for this video!
    And I have a question, because the ordinary sa anhydrous solution is an oil, do you use it after or before a moisturizer? And can you also even mix it with a moisturizer?

    • @Clover_Stone
      @Clover_Stone 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's best to apply the anhydrous solution prior to moisturizer. One could mix it in, but generally it's better to allow the active to do its job, allowing it to absorb, and then top with your moisturizer.

    Miss Ash❤️ I wonder How the ph will affect the bha when its waterless(Brown bottle)?? And because you would like to apply it after water-serums, does the bha even does anything so far back into the routine, and after serums with higher ph?!
    Really love it but dont know How to layer🥺🙏🏼

    I’m getting the anhydrous one but don’t know when to use it in my routine so here are my products:
    micellar water,toner,niacinimide,hylauronic acid,lactic acid,aha+bha,vitamin c,moisturiser
    I don’t really know what order to apply the serums (3-5 + salycidic acid that I havn’t got yet) and I would appreciate it if you could help me out! Thanks.

    • @marysapia5213
      @marysapia5213 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I ordered the anhydrous one but haven’t received it yet but it has squalene so it’s going to be more oily than watery. As far as layering you should go from water based one’s first to the more occlusive oily ones.
      You have a lot going on . I wouldn’t use them all at once. I would split them up into some during the day and the others at night. The aha+Bha is once a week at night with a moisturizer after and nothing else. Maybe your toner after you wash it off but only if it doesn’t contain any exfoliants.
      Hope this helps

I've been using it since June and at first i saw a few changes and my skin got a little bit better but after two months i think it started looking the same it looked before using it. I'm still using it because this is what I've been told by my dermatologist to use and i have a rutine. but man i have no idea what to do. my skin is mixed, the t zone it's oily and the rest it's normal to dry. i wanted to buy the salicylic acid from the ordinary but i dont know which one to buy the normal one or the anhydrous solution. pls someone help me

    I THOUGHT THEY TOOK THE ORIGINAL 2% SALICYLIC OFF THE MARKET OR QUIT MAKING IT. THE ONLY PLACE I COULD FIND IT WAS THROUGH EBAY/PERSONAL SELLERS?🤔

    • @SincerelyMissAsh
      @SincerelyMissAsh  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Purchasing The Ordinary through personal sellers or Ebay is a little risky as you don't know for sure if the product is legit and authentic.. Best to purchase from authorized retailers like Sephora or even on The Ordinary website.

      @@amelialalllalala3914 I am not sure if there is a Boots in the U.S. However, The Ordinary has come out with a updated version of 2% Salicylic acid serum. There are many, many brands that include their active ingredient as 2% Salicylic acid. Neutrogena has a face wash, which I use as a leave on mask in the shower.
