I was born again in 1992 I had a radical conversion . I served the Lord with a fervent zeal . 12 or so years later I fell into lust and adultry . I got worse drinking smoking weed and behaving like troll. Through all of this I never stopped believing in Jesus and his salvation. 11 months I cried out to the lord and in 15 hours God took me out of the situation I was in. Then began the struggle of not forgiving myself I became my own worst critic . Then I thought I had lost my salvation, because I never saw anything that was positive in my life . Soi prayed to the lord and said even if I have lost my salvation I will continue to serve you no matter what happens to me this was my ignorance. One night after praying I felt I should read the book of Hosea . I felt as though God has shown me how his love and salvation is all encompassing. I went to bed and when I woke up I was delivered from all my sin and I was also delivered from all my wicked lusts . Today I walk straight in the path . God is good . I'm so greatful for his love .
I literally prayed about this yesterday because I thought I lost my salvation, I’ve looked into arguments on losing salvation and not losing salvation so I was lost and confused then I prayed yesterday for God to show me and I ended up forgetting about it because I’ve been in my sin and next thing you know I open up TH-cam and see this as the very first video. God is good 😭
Don't ever give up... ever. He loves you, we all love you, just keep praying no matter what. 🙏 The Holy Spirit put this video in your path for a reason. 😊
Yes, once saved always saved because I have experienced this. I am now in my 50's I accepted Jesus Christ in my early 20's, was led astray and now I am back. Praise the Lord!
@@williamhackworth7918 I could be wrong… but I think if your are truly save and die in sin or will fully walk away from God which would be “blasphemy” you won’t inherit the kingdom of God… and if we didn’t have a part to play in having a secured eternal salvation why are their so many scriptures that encourage believers to continue in their faith… etc
For years I was tormented with the idea that I lost my salvation. After listening to the SCRIPTURES, I am FINALLY AT PEACE and cannot wait to go home one day! 😭
Fear you lost your salvation for years sounds like I’ve been feeling too “I can’t take this anymore… I don’t know how to pray in faith… I’ve been feeling this way for 9 years almost… I’m so mentally exhausted and spiritually exhausted… Please like my comment so I get notified when someone replies. Hello there I need desperate help. I got saved September 6, 2014. I accepted Jesus as my lord and savior. After believing, the Holy Spirit filled me and it was the most peaceful, glorious, loving feeling ever. It was out of this world. I had this warm fiery presence in my heart for a few months after, I felt guilty and remorseful when I sinned, but I started going back into my sins I did before getting saved. Little by little the holy spirits presence faded and faded. Then it was completely gone. I noticed I quenched the Holy Spirit by going back into willful habitual unrepentant sin. The last time I had his presence in me was January 2015. Almost 9 years ago. I can still stay away from sin, and have been. I’ve been praying for years I just cannot pray while believing but I’m sure god can still hear my prayers. I don’t feel remorse for things that are bad but I know what’s wrong and what’s not wrong to do and I stay away from the wrong things. I strongly fear going to hell, I doubt my salvation A LOT and have been for YEARS, I just want to have the 100% certainty of going to heaven back like I did when I first got saved. I’m born again, but I quenched the Holy Spirit but I know the Holy Spirit doesn’t leave a true believer. He’s just been silent, and his presence has been quenched and I need to know how to light his presence up again. I’ve prayed for it many times for years but still nothing. I’ve been dreaming of getting baptized and I’ve never been baptized before (when I was a baby a catholic priest sprinkled water on me but the biblical way is full immersion which I’ve never done.) in my dreams, the Holy Spirit filled me and his presence was lit again when I got baptized in my dreams. I felt all this peace love and glory immediately after just like I did when I first got saved when the Holy Spirit first came down into me. When I get baptized, will his presence be lit up again? Will I once again be on fire for god? He’s so close to me yet I feel billions of miles away from him. I can’t keep living in this fear and doubt of if I lost my salvation. I know it’s all a result of quenching the spirit. Please help. It’s been almost 9 years that I’ve felt the spirit. But he’s shown me he’s still with me and speaking to my spirit that the rapture is magnificently close. Please watch my videos I have really good videos. OSAS! Yes I’m living for god. Have been for months now keeping his commandments without breaking them a lot. I slip up here and there but Jesus paid it all! I have faith in god I pray to him everyday for years, I want to be with him for all eternity, I want to love him more, if I didn’t want any of these things, I wouldn’t be truly saved. These are evidences that I am saved. I believe however that we do lose rewards in heaven but any loss of reward in heaven is infinitely better than hell. And I’m so thankful that someone like me deserving of hell is loved and that god wants to take to heaven! I cannot wait to get raptured out of here!! Please watch my videos please subscribe!!! Rapture soon! “
you will be judge for thinking you lost it but you havent lost it .. if you truly believe he is our lord and savior and he died for us then your good. but dont think its ok to sin. if you have a sin your dealing with then pray about it.. its a hard evil world we live in just pray daily :O)
Thank you Allen. I have struggled with thinking things like "Oh I didn't read my bible today, is my salvation ok", and other things like that. But based on your video on are you saved, I met each point so I know I am saved. And then what you said about how the Holy spirit helps you to not give up on your walk is so true. I can't imagine living without God or just not following Him. Even when I have thought about giving up it never took action. When I sin I feel it grieve the Holy Spirit. When I praise God with worship music I feel the Holy Spirit rising up within me. God has changed my life and I am so glad that I am His. Good works naturally follow faith, but I need to remember that my works don't save me, but Jesus death on the cross.
The enemy gets believers to look at their life for assurance instead of at Christ. If you are looking at your performance for assurance you will never have it.
When I was ten in one December, I suddenly had interest in theology. I was starting to look into Islam, Judaism, Christianity, etc… but I was a new age kid. Loved crystals, fairies, the idea of telekinesis or kinetics, All that. Then I found… Gabe Poirot. First ever ministry channel I found. He always made me wanna go into it, and eventually I accepted Christ and officially became saved! But then I started to contemplate everything. I was in a huge debate about Islam and Christianity. I was basically just scared trying not to go to hell and was searching everywhere I possibly could to prove either one right or wrong. Later that day, I am almost positive the Holy Spirit gave me a thought that proved Christianity was right in my head. I looked even MORE into both and found the wacky origins of other religions and their falsities. No matter how hard I tried, NOTHING was in the way for Christianity. NOTHING. Now, I’m a proud Christian striving to be the best I can for Jesus/Yeshua/Yehoshua.
Great points. I think the devil often leads those of us constantly fighting strongholds, like addiction, to think we have lost our salvation, or never had it, because of the stronghold and our stumbles. This video is a great comfort. Thank you!
@@deeblue984 I never found God/Jesus, God/Jesus found me, and he can never lose those he finds. It's called eternal life. It's a free gift. The Bible says you have to seek out your own, your own , your own salvation with fear and trembling. I read books on smith wiggles worth and l don't know what he meant by that but that's biblically incorrect.
@@pedrodiaz7523 ok... Lets not lengthen this discussion. Can your explain me what does it really mean by " seek out your own salvation" or "work out your own Salvation" (kjv) means??
@@pedrodiaz7523 basically, you can't work "out" something which is not already worked "in". Everyone who has accepted Christ as lord and saviour (with true repentance) has new nature of christ in his born again spirit. But we must spirit allow the LORD (Holy ghost) to manifest that nature in our character day by day submitting to it not not relying on our fleshly efforts.

BLOT OUT The bible warns that some will depart from the faith in the latter days ( you can’t fall away/de[art unless you were a part of it to begin with). The Bible warns about Backsliding (you can’t back slide if you didn’t slide forward to begin with). Also, there is reference to people’s name being blot of the book of life (your name can’t be blot out unless it was written first).
I had a stillbirth I was so angry at God that I was determined to have nothing to do with Him ever again.I kept this up for a few days.I felt a nudging to turn on the radio to my christian music station.I refused at first and He nudged me again.more strongly.I listened that time and the song was Every Saturday, which says "I'm barely hanging on with all these empty feelings.I'm hurting in so many ways Though I can't begin to understand the reasons, I still believe that You're God.I broke down in tears and ran into His arms
One can absolutely lose salvation. If we forsake God's righteousness, and go back to living in wilful sin, we can lose our soul (Hebrews 10:26),(Hebrews 3:14). The scripture says that God saved the people from Egypt, and then afterwards destroyed those that believed not, and rebelled (1 Corinthians 10:1-10). The scripture also says that many will fall away from the faith in the last days. In order for someone to FALL AWAY from the faith, they must first be in it at some point. Lastly, this is what we ought to do to get in the faith: Believe the gospel,Repent of our sins, be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and get filled with the Holy ghost (Acts 2:37-38). Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou CONTINUE in his goodness: otherwise thou ALSO shalt BE CUT OFF.-Rom 11:22 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. - Rev 3:5 KJV
The Holy Spirit filled believer is a new creation, zealous for good works. The way you understand these scriptures implies salvation is 100% based on our works which is absolutely false. Every born again Believer WILL continue in Christ. It’s his new nature. There will be a time of backsliding (most Believers do) but God accounts them as the lost sheep which He goes and gets. A person who doesn’t continue in the faith was NEVER saved to begin with. Judas and Peter. Judas denied Jesus and so did Peter. Judas never believed Jesus was who He said He was, Peter did believe it and was therefore Born Again. That’s why Judas never returned and Peter did, because the Holy Spirit will bring every true Christian back to Jesus without losing any.
Amen. You in the Bible. Also what about backsliding. When you backslide how you still save. When you went back to the world. Now backsliders when they come back they get reclaim back to God. Some people serving the devil and still say they are save.
Amen, this is not your opinion but facts from the Bible. It states it very clear also in : John 15:6-7 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Those shrouded by hatred, in their heart, are blinded in darkness and can't see the light. But those who can love and forgive can see the light and obtain eternal peace.
Hey brother Allen - Have been wondering in the wilderness for many years after being saved at a very young age - I thank God that I found you on TH-cam and have been listening steadily for weeks now; you've been very inspirational. Thanks for all that you do and for all that God has done on our behalf.
Hi, I was a wanderer too!🙋♀️ Just replying because God finally got thru to me that I wasn't truely saved. I did the prayer at 7, and did the best I could, but my life was turmoil, and the best teaching I got was tv evangelism (so, not good teaching...) God FINALLY was able to get thru to my deaf self that I wasn't saved, I was just saying stuff & doing stuff I thought was "Christian", while being quite worldly. I only say this just in case you are in the same position. The first time, I recited a prayer in church, but absolutely did not understand what was/wasn't happening. When I got saved for real, I truely repented and properly from my heart dedicated myself to Him. I know that I know now, wasn't totally sure then. Hope you get what I'm saying (and this is just in case; I don't want to assume). Be blessed, and can't wait to meet you on the other side!
@@gohawks3571 😊 - Thanks for sharing your story with me. I was raised in a Christian family and my father was a preacher at one time. We also sang in churches all over the state of Washington so I was constantly hearing the word. There was no doubt in my mind that Christ died on the cross for our sins and ascended into heaven, but was too young to understand the meaning of 'God's grace', but I do now! Sounds like the holy spirit is working within you, so be diligent and stand fast! Take care.
This doctrine has only been around a very short time. When you do your homework you'll see that just over a few hundred years in Calvinism is pretty much where you see it as a formulated doctrine. I must say the Calvinist gotten it wrong but at least they're consistent with they're theology. They believe that if a person ends up apostate (backsliden/as the parable of the pig returning to the mud) they were never really born again. “I will put fear in their hearts that they will NEVER turn away from me.” It’s like… God has already put fear in our hearts about not being with Him (because we’re His) and now something’s come along to threaten us with separation… and we’re appropriately reacting to it with panic attacks. But NOW.. now that we know the truth of the Gospel: GRACE! Now we don’t have to fear at all!

Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things _*_they corrupt themselves._*_ Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, _*_without fruit, twice dead,_*_ plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage. But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life._ And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.” Jude 1:1-21, 23 KJV
Man..lately the devil has been whispering in my ear that I just might hear God say "I never knew you" and this has been breaking my heart and making me so scared. I prayed just this morning with this worry on my mind. And then boom there was this video! I wept and instantly felt the warmth and presence of the holy spirit comforting me. Thank you brother Allen for this video Glory to God! ❤
Jesus never once throughout the Bible preached that you are: 1. Saved by Grace alone 2. Save by Faith alone 3. Save by Grace through Faith alone 4. Saved by your Deeds alone 5. Once Saved, Always Saved 6. Salvation is Guaranteed Salvation is a life long process which is never guaranteed, nor by grace, by faith or by deeds alone. Jesus’ own words confirm this and anyone who preaches scripture that contradicts Jesus’ own words is misinterpreting it or intentionally straying you away from the true faith. Is it hard to enter God’s Kingdom? Yes! “This amazed them. But Jesus said again, “Dear children, it is very hard to enter the Kingdom of God.” Mark 10:24 Conditions by which salvation can be achieved directly from Jesus. 1. “Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” John 14:6 2. “Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. So don’t be surprised when I say, ‘You must be born again.” John 3:5-7 3. “Jesus called a little child to him and put the child among them. Then he said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven.” Matthew 18:2-3 4. “No, and I tell you again that unless you repent, you will perish, too.” Luke 13: 5. “Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven.”Matthew 10:32-33 6. “So I tell you, every sin and blasphemy can be forgiven-except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which will never be forgiven.” Matthew 12:31 7. “But I warn you-unless your righteousness is better than the righteousness of the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven!” Matthew 5:20 8. “But Jesus told him, “Anyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God.” Luke 9:62 9. “Then Jesus said to his disciples, “I tell you the truth, it is very hard for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. I’ll say it again-it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God!” Matthew 19:23-24 10. “So every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire. Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.” Matthew 7:19-20 11. “But I say, if you are even angry with someone, you are subject to judgment! If you call someone an idiot, you are in danger of being brought before the court. And if you curse someone, you are in danger of the fires of hell.”Matthew 5:22 12. “If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.” Matthew 6:14-15 13. “If you love your father or mother more than you love me, you are not worthy of being mine; or if you love your son or daughter more than me, you are not worthy of being mine. If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine. If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it.” Matthew 10:37-39 14. “And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak. The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you.” Matthew 12:36-37 15. “But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea.” Matthew 18:6 16. “So Jesus said again, “I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you cannot have eternal life within you. But anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise that person at the last day.” John 6:53-54 Will many fail to enter God’s Kingdom? Yes! Even those who claimed to be Christians & followers of Jesus will fail because they refused to obey his laws & conditions by which salvation would be obtained! “Someone asked him, “Lord, will only a few be saved?” He replied, “Work hard to enter the narrow door to God’s Kingdom, for many will try to enter but will fail.” Luke 13:23-24 “You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.” Matthew 7:13-14 “Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.” Matthew 7:21-23 “Just as the weeds are sorted out and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the world. The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will remove from his Kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. And the angels will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in their Father’s Kingdom. Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand!” Matthew 13:40-43 How do we determine if scripture is being misinterpreted? By simply going back to what Jesus said and letting his words show us the truth. Anyone who continues to preach scripture that contradicts his words should be avoided and exposed as wolfs. “Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:31-32 Don’t forget, the Devil was an angel and even quoted scripture when he tempted Jesus but it was Jesus’ full understanding of scripture that led him to quote scripture back to the devil in order to reveal God’s truth. This is why scripture (God’s Words) is also important on our journey. “But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4 “Get out of here, Satan,” Jesus told him. “For the Scriptures say, ‘You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him.” Matthew 4:10 “Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves.” Matthew 7:15 Did people misinterpret scripture in the past? Yes! Even Jesus had to correct them. “Jesus replied, “Your mistake is that you don’t know the Scriptures, and you don’t know the power of God.” Matthew 22:29 “Then he added, “Now go and learn the meaning of this Scripture: ‘I want you to show mercy, not offer sacrifices.’ For I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.” Matthew 9:13 Our sin is that we slowly begin to believe the words of others and even the apostles own words over Jesus as they’re distorted to justify a different path to salvation. We stubbornly cling to their words instead of his. “The world’s sin is that it refuses to believe in me.” John 16:9
" the devil has been whispering in my ear that I just might hear God say "I never knew you" and this has been breaking my heart " Next time you hear this, say out loud I reject this thought you placed in my head. repeat it, repeat it until it subsides. If that doesn't work, say "I curse you demon by the blood of Christ. I command you left me alone and match to the pit and stay there."
@Antonio Rodriguez You say people keep changing scripture, yet the very first verse you used was edited. Mark 10:24 really says: And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, “Children, how hard it is for those WHO TRUST IN RICHES to enter the kingdom of God!
This video could not have come at a better time! I have a debate in a Bible class tomorrow over this exact question. Before watching this video and several of your other videos on this topic I was leaning towards the side that you can lose your salvation. This helped so much!! Thanks for preaching truth! Our world needs more of this; keep it up!! ❤️
Hannah Might want to revisit this one John 3:16 says 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. In the king james Believeth means believe and CONTINUE TO BELIEVE lets don’t base our belief system on a utube video, But the actual word of God
Scripture doesn't contradict scripture. To be in the book of life you are saved, God says He will blot out ones name for taking away from His word. Hence lose salvation. God doesn't take it away from us, it is by our own actions free will we let go of it.
Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. SO NAMES CAN BE BLOTTED OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE.
GREAT VIDEO BROTHER ALLEN. I shared on FB. You have been very edifying to me as a reborn christian and also helped to point me in the right direction as a baby Christian when I was first saved. God bless you!
Thank you Brother Allen for breaking the word down so simple that a child could understand. This has given me more of a understanding of the Word of God.
I've struggled with this recently, as my faith has grown and as I've continued to grow in sanctification. It's like the more I thought I was living a repentant lifestyle, turning from sin, the more sin was revealed in me. I too hold to eternal salvation, there are some tough verses; i'm only at 55:55 on the video- but there seems to be an overwhelming amount of verse through scripture that describe eternal salvation. Especially the Old Testament, God has much anger in the old testament, but his mercy is so bountiful, he always takes his people back. I used to think God in the OT was just all fire and fury, but there is so much mercy he distributes, even taking back a rebellious and sinful people. For people who believe Jesus is the of Son of God, died on the cross for their sins, and that He was raised again. Ask yourself or another, how has your faith in Jesus impacted your life? Are you practicing the same things- have your desires changed- do you hate sin and grieve over it. Thanks Allen
Your absolutely right!! A Christian can't lose their salvation. However, the believer can abandon their salvation by walking away from the Lord and His ways. The Lord will go after them with a passion to get them to repent and welcome them back in.......:)
@@prestonw8515 First off , Lucifer was not created in Gods image for His glory. And second because of Lucifer sin came into the world through Adam and Eve. And they died spiritually. Thus Jesus had to come into the world and die on the cross for our sins so that we can be born again spiritually. So there is NO Redemption for Satan. Satan knows the scripture and the knowledge of salvation in Jesus Christ.. just knowing this doesn’t mean your saved. Salvation is a free gift given to us when “Faith” was “given” to us to believe. The Holy Spirit that dwells within us is working that “Faith” us and is sealed within us until the day of our redemption. If you are a true believer in Christ Jesus, you will have a relationship with him, you will see evidence of this in your walk as you walk with in in prayer and reading His Word. Will we sin? Yes, because we live in our sin nature bodies. But the penalty of those sins have been paid in full on the cross. God has written his Words in our hearts, and when we who are his, we need to go to our Father and acknowledge those sins and seek Him to help us overcome them to keep a right standing with God. True believers will not ever lose their birth right in Christ Jesus. When we accepted Jesus Christ for what he did on the cross in our behalf we became children of God. The Holy Spirit lifted the vail and spiritually opened our eyes to this truth. Then the Holy Spirit gave us his faith in us and is working it in us until the day of redemption. You can’t throw that away or walk away from it if you were truly saved. Those that can walk away from it really never know God. Or the salvation of Jesus Christ physically or spiritually. They were just words to them. Like I said even Satan knows the written word and has quoted it. He knows that Jesus Christ is the salvation for the world yet just knowing it doesn’t make you saved. There is nothing we can do on our own , Even faith was given to us. Once you are sealed by the blood of Jesus you’re saved for eternity. Jesus Christ is sitting at the right hand of God as our Intercessor. Our advocate proclaiming our innocence. Even I will doubt my own salvation, but then God reminds me, it is not my doubts that saved me. Nor my lack of faith in knowing I’m saved. I run to him to confirm and comfort me in this truth. I was born dead spiritually and it wasn’t until the Holy Spirit the world within me that made me alive spiritually again. That will never die within me. I am a live through Jesus Christ for what he did on the cross. Anyway those are my thoughts and I truly believe one can’t lose their salvation if they are truly a believer in Christ Jesus. And that only happens to supernaturally when the Holy Spirit comes within you and sealed you onto redemption.
The biggest problem with this type of discussion is that it depends upon of one's own understanding of scripture. Instead of trusting one's understanding (or in this case Calvin's), I think the question we should be asking is: Is this teaching apostolic in origin? In other words, does this teaching coincide with what the apostles passed on to the next generation of Christians and so on? We cannot find this teaching ("why a Christian cannot lose their salvation") taught by the early Church in the early centuries and therefore it is not apostolic in origin regardless of how you want to interpret the scriptures. Quite the opposite was taught; that is we can lose our salvation through an act of serious sin. This is what the apostles taught and passed down through the Church from generation through generation.
Then who exactly will actually make it to heaven because if we have the ability to lose salvation we will in fact lose salvation that also means that the blood of Jesus was not strong enough in the first place
@@believingintheblood8540 Fortunately, we have a merciful Lord. If we ask for forgiveness for our sins with a contrite heart, we will be returned to the friendship and grace of God. This is where the blood of Christ comes in and He washes our sins away if we are contrite. Those who do not ask for forgiveness for their sins are the one who have the problem as the sin of pride is what leads most to hell.
MANY times I don't feel good enough like you said, to be saved cause I messed up that day 😭 then I remember WHAT PAUL SAID, EVEN IF YOUR WORKS ARE BURNT UP, THAT PERSON WILL STILL BE SAVED AS ONE WHO ESCAPED THROUGH THE FLAMES ❤️ and ✝️🛐 s
A tree is known by its fruit likewise a real Christian produces good fruit. Suppose you have a apple tree and a peach tree both growing, how do I know which is which? The tree that produces peaches is the peach tree and the one that produces apples is the apple tree, likewise a so called Christian who is worldly/sinful is not a real Christian. Matthew 3:10 And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire
■ "If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned." (Jesus, in John 15:6) ■ "Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, *if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off."* (Romans 11:22) You must first *_be_* a branch before you can be "cast forth as a branch" or "cut off." And obviously we *can* be "cast forth" after becoming a branch. Jesus did not say "once a branch, always a branch"! It's nothing less than delusional insanity to think you're "saved" even after being "cast forth as a branch" and "burned." Jesus clearly warned what would happen to servants who returned to sin: ■ "But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers." (Jesus, in Luke 12:45,46) "Once saved, always saved," with "eternal security"? Apparently not. Sins "all paid for, past, present and future"? Apparently not. That servant was going to pay for his sins himself. The apostle Paul had the holy spirit. Paul clearly refuted "once saved, always saved": he stated it was possible for him to revert to a life of sin and therefore be rejected . . . thrown out . . . a "castaway": ■ "But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway." (1 Corinthians 9:27) There's a message there for all who have been misled to believe that *having* the holy spirit is a "guarantee" of your salvation. We must remain in repentance, being *_led_* by the holy spirit (Romans 8:13,14) and "walking after the spirit" (Romans 8:1) . . . not just _having_ it and ignoring it. We must choose to be led by the holy spirit. Note the "if"s: ■ "For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." (Romans 8:13,14) If - after overcoming sin through knowing Jesus - a person then returns to a life of sin, "the latter end is worse with them than the beginning": ■ "For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire." (2 Peter 2:20-22) Here is another warning "if" about returning to a life of sin: ■ "For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries." (Hebrews 10:26,27) Here's more of the many warnings not to fall away. Note the "ifs" with conditions: ■ "Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ." (2 Peter 1:10,11 ) ■ "Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;" (Hebrews 3:12 -14) ■ "If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:" (2 Timothy 2:12) ■ "And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;" (Colossians 1:21-23 ) It IS possible to fall away, even after being made a "partaker" of the holy spirit! There would have been no point in writing the next passage if it were impossible to fall away: ■ "For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame." (Hebrews 6:4-6) We *can* "fail of the grace of God": ■ "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled" (Hebrews 12:14,15) Our names CAN be blotted out of the book of life: ■ "He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels." "And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." (Revelation 3:5 and 22:19) Judgment is on "the house of God" - His church - right now: ■ "For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?" (1 Peter 4:17) ■ "Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it." (Hebrews 4:1) We have warnings not to fall away for this very good reason: we CAN fall away.
@@vtwinjimmyful Nice to get a "thank you" instead of the usual "heretic"/"son of the devil"/"dog of Satan" accusations. The apostle Peter gave this warning: ■ "Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.” (2 Peter 3:17) Is it not implicitly *_obvious_* that we CAN be "led away with the error of the wicked"?
Amazing! I need my parents to hear this, I feel like they live on egg shells constantly worried about whether they’re getting into heaven or not… thinking that every sin and even things like (being upset in traffic) can send you to hell… I believe that when you are saved and truly growing, you naturally sin less, certain things you don’t long to do anymore. So there’s no need to constantly be worried about hour salvation
It’s a good thing that your parents are living by their convictions. Fear is how the Holy Spirit corrects us. But if they are, they shouldn’t be worried, but comforted.
OSAS is Biblical truth. Because it puts the focus of our salvation on Christ thoroughly and absolutely. To say you can lose your salvation implies that your works are keeping you saved. The book of Matthew talks about how on Judgement day, many shall be turned away, because they trusted in their works. To believe in the death of Christ and His burial and resurrection the third day for the remission of all of our sins, this alone, is our eternal ticket to Heaven (which God Himself spoke with His own mouth that He alone will get us there)
@@saltlight7487 they’re not living by their convictions, they’re living in fear because they think it’s in their control when it’s in Gods hands. We’re to feel assurance and love and trust and ask forgiveness when convicted and feel the assurance of being a child He reprimands because we’re His, it’s a comforting wonderful thing. Fear in the Lord is lacking in peoples lives but fear and frustration and worry is not and that’s not the type of fear that we should have. All of that is from the enemy and is keeping our minds on ourselves, and not on Him. So many people live in fear and condemnation and both of those are not in the Christian life. Fear of God is a good thing, but it’s not how we view fear, it’s a much more holy respectable thing and only comes from God.
@@jenniferwalsh1731 it is really important that we know that we are called out while we were still sinners, but that we also know that judgement begins first in the house of the Lord, and when Christ returns it is not to save anymore, but to judge. And the judgement is according to our actions. If we are not living righteously (abiding in Christ) we shouldn’t be comforted in lawlessness. This is not something taught about a lot, but we remain in Christ by keeping His commandments. It’s laid out in John 15. This doesn’t nullify faith and grace. Still need those. We also need to be obedient. I don’t know about you, but when I am disobedient, the Lord uses fear to turn me back to Him. I know I can’t go off on my own. Fear is a powerful tool. I don’t want to be severed off from Christ. This doesn’t mean I think each individual act of disobedience makes me “lose my salvation”, but I know I need to repent and turn to Christ or it is possible. He doesn’t owe me salvation, and frankly warns of falling away throughout scripture so we can know not to trail off of Him.
I am new to this channel, and I cannot tell you how much this has helped me. I believe we are in the end times because we are in the end times there will be more and more pressure on us to be discouraged. This litterely pushed me back in the right direction. God bless 🙏.
In one of my visitations to hell, Jesus showed me a person who was a Christian (Jesus said “he was a Christian like you”). But the guy unfortunately started sleeping around (1 cor 6:9). He died middle aged and went to hell forever it was dark but Jesus lit up the area, he asked Jesus for another chance but unfortunately it was too late for him, Pretty said, Repent and ask Jesus to help you with your struggles (James 4:7)
I respect those verses you brought out for eternal security, but I equally believe the verses that suggest otherwise. I think if a person is wondering if they’ve lost their salvation or if they can lose it, then they are most likely living in darkness and want to feel okay about it. While I believe we are “free” in Christ, I believe our freedom is in the confines of Christ’s teachings. I’m not a perfect Christian by any means, but I know the difference between a mistake and a lifestyle, and I believe God knows as well. We can’t insincerely repent and pull the wool over the eyes of God. I know you said to avoid extremes, but if a doctrine is 100% true, it makes no room for a license to sin, and unfortunately I know that people take it there, to a license for immorality, and I believe that their damnation is just. The way I see it, is that God is light, and IN Him there is no darkness at all. When we are IN Christ, we are walking IN the light. Anything else is OUTER darkness. Our salvation is IN Christ Jesus, and we abide (remain) IN Him by living according to the Spirit, which does not contradict Christ. This is still faith both in theology and practice. Now Allen, I don’t believe that you’ve said anything that contradicts what I’ve just said, but I know there are people who take “saved by grace apart from works” and think that faith is completely separate from compliance and deny the Lordship of Christ, which is simply not Christianity. They need to be corrected, and they ought to be threatened when they read passages that exclude certain people based on their ACTIONS from the kingdom of God and from eternal life, regardless of who they think they are. God has no respect of persons. Now before someone comes for me, I can attest I was not doing anything deserving of being saved prior to being saved, but now that I am saved, I allow God to operate in my life. His operation is not imaginary, but tangible. May God bless all of you who are seeking Him with all your heart.
I agree with you no where in the Bible does it state you have a license to sin. If God hates sin and mentions that anyone who sins is not of God how can you still be saved under God's grace. I also agree no one is perfect I'm constantly praying to God for deliverance and protection against the world 🌍 and my flesh. One thing is for sure whatever you feed your spirit you will become. Constantly have to be on your knees and in the word.
@@juansmith4154 You are exactly right, what we do is what we get in the end. Galatians 6:7Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
"6/19/07 From YahuShua HaMashiach, Our Lord and Savior The Word of The Lord Spoken to Timothy For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear This question was asked of The Lord, for a brother in Christ: Lord, can our salvation be lost? Thus says The Lord: Timothy, write as I speak; hear My words and give Me glory. For in My Word is glory, even the Truth, of which no man shall change. For if any man attempts to change that which I have spoken for his own glory, or in the serving of the evil one, even that man shall I destroy, says The Lord. So then, you have come before Me asking on your brother’s behalf, though he asks in the testing of you; yet not according to the Truth or that written in the Scriptures, but according to the doctrines of men, of which he has already accepted. Yet I will speak for the sake of your asking, and for the edification of him you call brother. For he is My son also, though he does not yet believe you are who you claim to be. And for this reason I have commanded you to write My words, so for surety all may know and understand, that salvation gained is assured. For it is not by gain you have received it, rather it is by grace, The Gift of The Father... Ransomed through the blood of The Son. Therefore, concerning all these The Father has given Me, I shall not lose one. For those who come to Me are drawn to Me by The Father, and shall in no wise be cast out. Yet there are those among you who say it is written by the prophet, that when the righteous turn from their righteousness and commit iniquity, The Father will in turn remember their righteous deeds no more, and because of their unfaithfulness they shall surely die. This saying is true, and was spoken by the prophets of old according to The Old Covenant, and should indeed be taken to heart. Yet understand this, all you haughty scholars and prideful teachers, even all you who call of yourselves Christian who make arrogant assertions without knowledge, you lack trust and have no understanding! Nor do you know your God, nor that covenant written in My own blood, which is The New and Everlasting Covenant. For I died; behold, I am risen! I am alive forevermore! Amen! And as I live, so shall the penitent man live. Even if he should turn and stumble, his salvation is in no wise lost to him. For he has an Advocate with The Father, One who stands in his place, having already paid the full price for his transgression; behold, his sin is remembered no more, cast into a dark sea of forgetfulness!... And oh how blessed are those who strive always to make their repentance full,[1] says The Lord. Yet there are many who call of themselves Christian, who say, “If a man turn from The Lord and commit wickedness, even this same man has lost his salvation and shall suffer in the fires of hell.” Again, I say to you, you know neither Me nor My Father who is in Heaven! For if you knew Him, and had truly accepted Me and My Word, then I would live in you. And if I truly lived in you, you would understand God’s mercy which endures forever... I am that mercy, who lives forever to intercede on your behalf! Therefore, O arrogant generation, you do greatly err; For upon this one truth is The Kingdom Built and everlasting life established: Salvation received in Me is forever, as I am forever and unchanging... For I have already told you, this is a cord which can not be broken. It is made of the finest thread and the strongest steel, And in no wise shall death prevail. And by no means shall one be cast into hell, to suffer day and night without end. This teaching is FALSE, myth, borrowed from the deceiver who upon all pagan religion was built. Sons of men, know you not what the Scriptures say, that whosoever believes in The Son abides forever, and whoever has not The Son shall perish and not see life? How then shall one say that whether one believes or believes not, both have eternal life? This teaching among the churches is of the church called mother, and is of her father the devil, of which she continually emulates, seeking after her own glory which she claims she had received from Me... She shall be torn in pieces! Behold, the day is coming and is already here, when this world shall be judged; yes, it has come and is yet coming. Yet there are those among you, of whom I love, who say they love Me yet do not obey My voice, nor will they listen. For they do adhere closely to the doctrines and traditions of men, even to all their holidays which are perverse in My sight, mixing that which is holy with the profane, as a harlot perverting her way among many lovers. So then behold the Day, where all those who come to Me in truth, being fully converted in their hearts, who also obey My voice and keep The Commandments, shall be taken; behold, they shall surely be gone from this place! Yet to the rest, though they have called on My name (the name by which I am known among them), with raised hands and many supplications, even unto vain babblings, they shall surely be left. For I have looked upon them, I have peered deep within, and I know they are not truly converted in their hearts; neither will they harken to My voice, nor will they give heed to My Commandments. For they do always dishonor Me, as they pervert My name among the people by all they say and do. Yes, even these, who call of themselves Christian, shall be left in the midst of thick clouds and darkness on that day. For it is a day of refinement and tears, a day of heavy sorrows and bitter weeping. Therefore, I ask you, have these lost their salvation? Had they truly received? Do I live in them? For all who truly receive of Me know Me, and I live in them. And if I live in them, then in no wise will these turn away. For one who abides in My love shall never leave it. For they have tasted of the divine gift and have looked upon My glory. They will not depart from Me, but rest securely at My right hand. These are My sheep, the tame of My flock; they call out and I do hear them, even as I had called to them and they did hear. All My sheep hear My voice and know the sound of My voice, and seek to follow Me wheresoever I lead them. Yet there are many scattered sheep who remain wild, who have also been given Me of My Father; these I must bring also. Lo, they shall be tried in the furnace, refined by fire unto pure white stones, of which all shall be given new names. They shall come to Me by great tribulation and shall be made white in My own blood, bringing glory to My name, even the name of The Father who is in Heaven, the name We share. And they shall all become one flock, with one Shepherd. Behold, I shall be their God, and they shall be My people, forever! Says The Lord. For Salvation has come and shall in no wise depart from My people. For that which was corrupted is made new in Me, and will soon be refashioned of that which is incorruptible. For all who come to Me in sincerity and in truth are saved, having been saved from the beginning. And all those who say they know Me, then turn away, never really knew Me, nor had they truly come to Me, having spoken in vain. Thus by the heart is one judged, of which I know, for nothing is hidden before Me. I made you and know you, having always known you; even those who will yet come to Me, I see and know. For I see you as you are and will be, with Me where I am. Thus salvation can not be lost, once given, for it is only given to those who will receive. For those written in My Book were written there from the foundation of the world, of which I was also slain... Behold, I am risen! For I AM, and LIFE IS because of Me! So then that atoned for by My blood is far-reaching, even across all boundaries, life and death, time and space. For even those before Me were after Me, and knew The Father, who knowing Him knew and saw the time of My coming, having repented before The Father in His name, which is also My name, the name We shared before the world was made. Therefore, understand Glory and the power of the cross, By which I have sprinkled all nations, all peoples and all men: Only one’s complete rejection of this Truth, In the hating of My name, keeps them from Salvation and Life, Of which I offer them in rivers of living water mixed with My own blood, Which is poured out from My side, of which all must drink, Even to the eating of My flesh to have life, life without end... And so the day is coming and is already here, when all shall know God and the power of The Messiah, when all shall sit before My throne; Some to My right hand, and some to My left; even so, amen... Therefore, let it be done and come to pass according To how it is and was written; behold, even by My own hand shall all things be fulfilled... Come to Me, therefore! Come to Me in spirit and in truth! Beloved, gather around, and let Me heal you and sanctify you! Your salvation is assured!" www.thevolumesoftruth.com/Salvation_Is_Given_and_Must_Be_Received;_Once_Received,_Forever_Shall_It_Belong_to_the_Redeemed
After I got saved, I soon got introduced to a denomination that taught a works based salvation. I didn't know it was works based at the time. They taught it as "holiness standards". I always wondered for years why in the beginning I had such joy but then eventually battled so much anxiety and depression. I always felt like I was struggling to maintain my salvation because not only couldn't I abide by the standards, but I fell into old sins that absolutely devastated me. I was also always taught to look at once saved, always saved as a lie. As I listened to this teaching, however, tears began to fall. I could feel weights falling off and this peace fill me. Thank you so much for taking the time to teach on this.
Did anyone teach that we are saved to do the works that God has prepared beforehand Eph2:8-10? If we disobey it is sin. Have they taught you that God is no respecter of persons, and we will be judged by our works, whether they be good or bad. You should know that every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward, and as Heb2:2-3 asks of us, How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation? Jesus is, If you deny me I will deny you. I am not writing to condemn anyone, Jesus did not come to condemn, but to tell us the truth. So how should we view sin? If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We come to God with a carnal nature, but are given grace to rec a spiritual nature, whereby we no longer sin. That is the truth that makes us free. But many are ever learning, and never coming to a knowledge of the truth. Sinnce we deal with a carnal nature, we are babes in Christ and God treats us as such. He chastens us for our disobedience that we should not be judged with the world, but become partakers of his holiness. But when we are judged we are chastened and that is not pleasant but grievous. It may result in sickness, weakness, afflictions or even death. Consider what happened to Ananais and Saphira, and consider that God tried to kill Moses because of the circumcision. Also look at Psalm 38 for a further understanding of how God deals with his people. But you chastening does not mean that God will not save you in the day of judgement. God has gone to great lengths to save us. The long-suffering of God is salvation. But if we show no mercy, we receive no mercy, therefore works of faith or the fruits of righteousness are important. We are commanded to love one another. If a man does not love his brother, he is in darkness still. In the last days there will come a falling away, teaching doctrines of devils, even denying the Lord that bought them. From such turn away. And if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgement and fiery indignation that shall destroy the adversary. Rejoice in our salvation this is the day that the Lord has made, rejoice and be glad in it. Grace and Peace.
@@danmarley2886 all are sinners even the saved until they go home to Jesus, we will struggle with sin by action and sometimes even deed. only one is good and only his blood was good enough to pay for sins.
Mr. Allen, thank you for making this video. I struggled with understanding my salvation in Jesus for such a long time, and with your analogy to build a house and to back it up with Scripture was just what I needed to begin to anchor myself in. Thank you, I thank our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for you, peace be with you.
Thanks for what you do... i think I've listened to every one of your videos and they're so well done and have helped me understand the apologetic foundation of my faith.
Allen Parr!!! This blessed me so much and you did such an amazing job going through these scriptures!!! Thank you so much for doing this video! May the Lord continue to bless you and your ministry ❤
@Tableú Okay, this scripture is the one that seems to imply that we CAN LOSE our salvation as Christian believers, does Allen Parr has an explanation for this!?, Us there any scripture in the Bible that says other wise!? Please let me know, if Allen Parr made a video about this or even responded back to you, because I really would love to see the real truth in all of this. Thanks 👍
That in itself open up a big controversy with many other apostate scriptures (as far as the description in scripture describing a cleansing from sin and then a turning back to their old life. Like I stated at least the Calvinist keep it real. By that I mean modern day denominations (too many to mention) say even if your in your old life style living but you were truly once saved your on your way to heaven. Sorry, but that's blasphemy. Now there are other denominations who believe you can lose your salvation but they also take there theology too far also. They offer no relationship room to grow (that is becoming more sinless/we call that sanctification). They put people in a mental straight jacket wondering if everytime they're struggling with an area of sin if they've lost their salvation. What God has shown me through scripture is there's is a security for the believer but nothing like the perverted doctrines of today. There is also a perseverance of the saints that is not guaranteed, like Calvinism would have you believe, but a conscious decision by the believer to continue until the end. If you really ask yourself this one question: "if you were the Devil what harm is there in creating Once Saved Always Saved? I'll tell you what he's accomplished. A lot of souls are going to the Lake of Fire behind this doctrine, serious stuff. Lord we cast out demons in your name and on and on, miracle Spirit filled works. I didn't even get halfway through the video, but I had to stop to say: Allen, you are a very good teacher and I appreciate you and what you do! I'm also a visual type of person so it makes it a lot easier for me that you chose to explain in this way Thank you!

Thank you for this word and clarity. I’ve struggled with this question due to my decisions or other peoples opinions on how I’m supposed to be as a saved Christian. Continue to pray for my growth mentally in God because I’m working hard to know him for myself and not what others say I should serve or know him.

This is the Allen Parr i wanted for so long.Teaching the word of God. Any Christian who is saved and have the holy spirit lives in them will not continue in sin.I understand that you will fall sometimes...because the word says a righteous man falls seven times....You will always seek God to live a holy life..because a bodies must be offered as a holy sacrifice to God...The key here is to always consult the holy spirit because...your flesh and spirit are always at war Ref galatians 5...that which you feed the most will get stronger...Feed your spirit through reading and obeying the word and prayer.
Hebrews 10:38-39 KJVS [38] Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. [39] But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

QUESTION: King Saul was filled with the Holy Spirit. But he turned away and was even labeled as God's enemy. Was Saul ever saved in the first place? How were people in the Old Testament saved?
Richard The Holy Spirit would come upon people, leaders, kings prophets; it wasn’t necessarily a sign that they walked with God. Think about the High Priest who prophesied that one man should die for the people John 11: 50-51, not even realizing that that is exactly what Jesus was about to do and he wanted Jesus dead. In the OT it says “the just shall live by faith.” Hab 2:4. But when you look up the word “faith” it means firmness, fidelity, steadfastness...” So the JUST will live by his FAITHFULNESS! Think Noah, Abraham, Job, Moses, Daniel, ....they all had relationship which was proven in their obedience. I have a healthy fear these days for the consequences of sin, and we never know when our last day is so the smartest choice is to remain close and keep from wandering. Jesus was very clear that we would be judged by our works, in Revelation chapters 2 and 3 when he addressed the 7 churches and even later in the book. Read also Ezekiel 33. And let’s not forget what John the Baptist and Jesus taught.....Repentance. I believe this is what’s missing these days, a correct view of our sin and having true sorrow. I also believe that this is a work of the Holy Spirit within a person that a person must respond to. There always seems to be a constant perfect tension of both God and us working together. We definitely have a responsibility; I don’t believe it’s a simple line drawn on either side. So it’s very healthy to test ourselves to see if we truly belong to Him. Hope this helps
Have to admit the same wow. God bless you my brother. I have I can't lose my salvation but the way you taught it, twas like Jesus himself speaking yoh🙌
I love your videos. They do help me with some questions I have. Also, like the way you do things. Thanks for the help and the answers when I need them. Many blessings!
A Baptist pastor told me once you’re saved you’re always saved. He told me you can commit any sin without repentance and you are still saved. He said you can murder your whole family and you will still go to heaven. I told him the Bible says there’s one sin you will never be forgiven of and that’s blasphemy of the HOLY SPIRIT and the pastor said you will be forgiven of all sins without repentance. It was like l was talking to the devil.

Absolutely wonderful! Thank you so much brother for teaching us from the word of God on the permanence and assurance of our salvation. Keeping you in 🙏🏽
@Philip Child of God If you turned away from Jesus you will not be saved. When you make a commitment it is supposed to be a secure one of the heart. But if you turned your life around and truly accept Him as your Savior He is there with open arms to receive you as His child.🙏
@Philip Child of God He’s not going to “unforgive” you of what He’s already forgiven you for, but you’d die in your sins and be cast into outer darkness unless you returned in repentance. Eternal life is a gift we enter into through faith but remain in through obedience. Martin Luther is to blame for people thinking this double life is acceptable to the Lord.
Bro Parr, once again your teaching gift is made evident. I know that I am saved because I am not comfortable walking in sin doing sinful things that didn't bother my conscience before salvation. Looking forward to the sequel.
@@bibletruth5752 Yes indeed. Satan was actually in heaven itself so no one can argue that he wasn't saved so what happened. Is Mr Parr and others on here now going to try and convince us that Satan will be back in heaven because OSAS? Can people not see how absurd this false teaching is?

I like what you say Allen. I became a Christian after witnessing a Hindu religious festival. I believed in God but didn't know who really worshipped this God. The Hindu religious festival was hideous and horrible, it felt evil. I was with a Chinese christian lady and asked her why I felt so bad. She said, these people are worshipping the devil. I was baptisted around 22, had previously went to one or two bible studies, was interested in knowing God when I met a guy who was a Hindu. I dated a Muslim, I grew up in a non religious family. I was searching for the truth finally found it when I was 22. I left it due to me dating these guys that I shouldn't have been with. My sin that struggled with was lust. Continously dating, relationships and sex. I have been obsessed about studying the Bible, growing my faith. I believe God definitely calls for his lost sheep. Amen. I feel at peace. I just need to go to church.
I used to think I could lose my salvation. I found myself sinning more and more and constant fear when i messed up. All it took was true understanding of this scripture “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” - Ephesians 2:8-9 Jesus is my saviour, not myself. Once the Lord led to me this, it took the stress off that my salvation was In MY hands, but was a gift and in Jesus hands, I was finally in peace. What Jesus did on the cross was enough to save my soul. If I could lose my salvation, it would be gone in a flash. Once you are TRULY saved & born again, I believe you are eternally secured & no one can snatch you from His hand. Amen 🙏
@@rayashleigh494 Wrong. Those verses don’t teach that you cannot lose your salvation, on the contrary… the Bible gives warnings of people who can, and have lost their salvation. You kept sinning not because you feared losing your salvation, you kept sinning because the human heart is wicked and loves to sin.
@@jesuschristsaves9067 how can I lose my salvation? My own works? Please let me know. I thought Jesus was my saviour, not myself. Genuinely curious. What is a gift then?
@@rayashleigh494 Salvation is a gift. Jesus is the gift giver. The problem is that you’re operating from a false assumption that OSAS is biblical before you approach the scriptures and then that fuels your interpretation of scriptures with that presupposition as necessarily true. We know this isn’t the case as pointed out by Jude’s warning; _“Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, _*_turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ._*_ I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that _*_the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not._*_ And the _*_angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment_*_ of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, _*_giving themselves over to fornication,_*_ and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things _*_they corrupt themselves._*_ Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and _*_ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward,_*_ and perished in the gainsaying of Core. These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose _*_fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead,_*_ plucked up by the roots;”_ Jude 1:3-12 KJV 1.) they were once Saints. 2.) they corrupted themselves. 3.) Jude uses the example of the Israelites who were saved from Egypt and later perished in the wilderness because of their unbelief. 4.) they were twice dead, meaning they were given spiritual life and later apostatized. There is the human responsibility that works in tandem with the will of God in salvation. But it is the power of God alone that saves. A man must come to God in faith on his own volition, but to be born again, man must receive power from God.
Anyone who believes they can maintain their salvation on their own effort is in for a fiery surprise at the end of their life. The Bible is very clear that salvation is through FAITH ONLY by the finished work of Christ. Anyone who attempts to obtain or maintain salvation by their own works will not enter the kingdom of God. There is NOTHING we can do except to rely on the blood of Christ to save us.
@@tlam8086 If you sell your soul to satan, you were never saved in the first place. REAL faith in Christ will want a REAL believer to draw closer to Christ...not deny or reject Him.
Allen please explain the following. How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? Hebrews 10:29 Punishment for people who once were saved but turned there back on Jesus. So you can loose your salvation. Then, for every promise there's a condition. You should have started with verse 27 in John:10... My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. John 10:27-28 The conditions are: 1. hear Jesus' voice 2. follow Him Listen, obey and follow Him. Failing to adhere to the condition, you can loose the promise. What about Mark 9:43-48, whereby Jesus addressed the BELIEVERS? Here Jesus specifically teaches that we should get rid of our sinful ways in order for us to obtain heaven. If our hands, feet, eyes makes cause us to stumble so that we fall into sin, we should get rid of it. Once again, one can loose his salvation. According to Luke 9:61-62, if we put our hands to the plough and turns back, in other words, to our old sinful ways, we are not eligible for the KINGDOM of GOD! And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. Luke 9:61-62 KJV The cursed fig tree in Mark 11:13-15, which I believe that the tree is symbolic for the BELIEVER who as in this case don't bear ANY FRUIT. Although out of season, Jesus still expected it to bear FRUIT. As believers in Christ it is imperative that we always bear FRUIT, and not just any, but GOOD ONES. For a tree shall be known by its fruit, Matthew 12:33. 1. SALVATION alone is not enough but only the beginning of Christian's way to heaven. 2. Then comes SANTIFICATION, our baptism of FIRE where we get moulded by Jesus Christ on a daily basis (Mark 1:8), in order for us to overcome trials, temptation so that our FAITH can be tested. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Hebrews 12:14 KJV Without holiness (purification), we will not ENTER the KINGDOM! There are many scriptures which one still can quote but I think the above should suffice. The doctrine of ONCE SAVED always SAVED, is an ERROR and people should DIVERT from it.
Absolutely well put. Brother, I invite you to check out my TH-cam ministry, I talk about OSAS a LOT and I'd love your support and feedback. Search it up on TH-cam: Radiant Pursuit
Thank you! I think leading people to believe they are saved no matter what they do is a false prophecy. Jesus meant we are saved only as long as we follow him in All ways, otherwise you make a mockery of his words using them the wrong way.
I think the issue with the once saved, always saved doctrine is the difference between truly being saved. I thought I was saved all my life. I wasn't living for Him; in fact, I wasn't doing anything for Him, but because I said those words when I was 10, I thought I was saved. I realized about 7 years ago that wasn't so. I humbled myself to the Lord, and I gave in 100%. After that, I started following Hm daily. Praying daily. Living my life as a witness daily. I think many folks are in for a shock, thinking they are saved but without the Holy Spirit dwelling in them. "Depart from me"! When He says, "I don't know you," it is because His spirit is not residing in you. That, of course, is an opinion, but I live by it now, and yes, the Holy Spirit is dwelling inside me. God bless, brother!
This is the best response I've heard. I still do not believe in the doctrine of once saved, always saved for the exact reason you stated. I thought I was saved until I finally heard sound teaching about what living for Christ actually means. As someone else said, you can't lose your faith like you lose keys but you can give it away.
@@TheBLACKboard65 I find the drawback in the once saved, always saved doctrine somewhat severe. I don't know if it's the doctrine as much as the ignorance of many churches that follow it. When going out on visitation once more as a kid, we were pushed to get them to say the sinner's prayer. It would then be counted as a positive and a slap on the back with sometimes no follow-up to the person receiving, which in my case would be another kid. The cycle then started once more because they were told at that point that they were indeed born again. Once again, the problem is not the doctrine itself but those instructing it. I know the idea of it would be accurate for myself, but I can only say that as an example of it because I could not walk away from my salvation, nor could I simply lose the desire. The Parable of the Ten Virgins answers this for me, I think. All ten virgins were waiting on the Lord; the question is, were all saved. Five of the ten ran out of oil thus were left behind. Were they actually saved or, as in my situation, merely considered themselves saved but didn't have the Holy Spirit present to back up in their hearts what was in their heads? I pray you are blessed.
@@redmangreen5752 - Yes, you make excellent points. When I consider the history of the U.S., for example, I know it is not a "Christian" nation. People would not have experienced what they did, and do, were it a "Christian" nation. It would not have taken legislation but only the love of Christ to make all citizens full recipients of the benefits of being born here. I could go on with many other examples, but will suffice it to say I believe that practice, "once saved" has made very lazy, religious disciples but not followers. Those teaching it always say, well if they walk away, they were never saved. But, then it's too late. Jesus emphasized God is looking for fruit - EVIDENCE of the transformation within. Most "Christians" aren't Christ-like. And, the world is so dark - despite our supposed numbers - because our lights are so dim. Enjoyed conversing with you. May God's mighty hand protect and keep you and yours.
I completely agree with you and was going to post something similar. Once saved always saved is a false doctrine. The Bible is very clear that we have to die to our worldly idols and live for him. We have to obey his commandments. I know many who believe they are saved but still live in fornication, drunken, sinful lifestyles in willful disobedience to God. I do agree that they may be in for a rude awakening. Do not be deceived by anyone. Read your bibles.
I think that the basic idea of "once saved always saved" is that, if you sin (as we all do), but you die before you ask forgiveness, you're still saved. I've heard of people who believe that, even if they are a very devoted Christian who spends almost every waking moment devoting themselves to God, if they slip up once, lets say they have some impure thoughts while stuck in traffic, then they are hit by a car and killed. They believe they will go to hell (or purgatory, being that they're Catholic) because they died without asking forgiveness. If you truly believe, I don't understand how you would stop believing, short of a brain injury. It would be like believing that your earthly father exists and having a relationship with him, then no longer believing it. That makes no sense. If you know someone and have a relationship with them, you don't just stop believing that they are real unless you've suffered some serious mental trauma.
It doesn't mean losing faith means they necessarily don't believe God is real anymore- it can mean that sometimes but I think more so it means they don't want a relationship with the biblical God. I know a girl who used to be an avid Christian who lost her Christian faith but still believes God exists. She has more of a New Age view of God now.
@@JR_M_615 so? they don't believe in the biblical God, so they make up a false god (idolatry) who is okay with weird-satanic ideology like the new age christianity but it's not christ who there god is but undercover it's satan who they're worshiping, even if they dont kno it. they hate the truth which is in the bible so they go with a false god who is okay with sin, etc. and whos behind that? the deceiver satan..

Yes, once saved always saved because I have experienced this. I am now in my 50's I accepted Jesus Christ in my early 20's, was led astray and now I am back. Praise the Lord!
So what about those who might not come back?

I started my existential search in 2006 by studying all the religions then focusing on Christianity as it has tons of evidence to back it up.

BLOT OUT
The bible warns that some will depart from the faith in the latter days ( you can’t fall away/de[art unless you were a part of it to begin with). The Bible warns about Backsliding (you can’t back slide if you didn’t slide forward to begin with). Also, there is reference to people’s name being blot of the book of life (your name can’t be blot out unless it was written first).

Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou CONTINUE in his goodness: otherwise thou ALSO shalt BE CUT OFF.-Rom 11:22
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Take care.

That’s right. Most young believers do that.

“I will put fear in their hearts that they will NEVER turn away from me.”
It’s like… God has already put fear in our hearts about not being with Him (because we’re His) and now something’s come along to threaten us with separation… and we’re appropriately reacting to it with panic attacks.
But NOW.. now that we know the truth of the Gospel: GRACE! Now we don’t have to fear at all!

At the end, you point out that Christ said He never knew those people, and then you immediately say, what Christ meant by “I never knew you,” was that it’s better to never have known Him than to have known Him and turn away like those people did. NOT WHAT HE SAID.
You assume for some reason that those people were saved, and no where does it say that those people were saved, or that they knew Him. In fact, He specifically says that He does not know them, and NEVER knew them.
You forget that there were Jews who did not know Christ, but went around casting out demons in His name, because the name of Christ has power. There are plenty of people who PREACH in His name and have NEVER KNOWN HIM.
And there are, were, and will be plenty of people who perform miracles in the name of Christ that have NEVER known our Savior.

You sound stupid with that conclusion because nowhere in scripture does it say that if a person loses their salvation, they were never saved in the first place. It was universally understood in the early church that a man can in fact depart from the faith he/she once possessed. Where did they get this concept? From the scriptures;
_“Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called: Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied. Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that _*_ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints._*_ For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and _*_denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ._*_ I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, _*_having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not._*_ And the _*_angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment_*_ of the great day. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life._
And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.”

Jesus never once throughout the Bible preached that you are:
1. Saved by Grace alone
2. Save by Faith alone
3. Save by Grace through Faith alone
4. Saved by your Deeds alone
5. Once Saved, Always Saved
6. Salvation is Guaranteed
Salvation is a life long process which is never guaranteed, nor by grace, by faith or by deeds alone. Jesus’ own words confirm this and anyone who preaches scripture that contradicts Jesus’ own words is misinterpreting it or intentionally straying you away from the true faith.
Is it hard to enter God’s Kingdom? Yes!
“This amazed them. But Jesus said again, “Dear children, it is very hard to enter the Kingdom of God.” Mark 10:24
Conditions by which salvation can be achieved directly from Jesus.
1. “Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” John 14:6
2. “Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. So don’t be surprised when I say, ‘You must be born again.” John 3:5-7
3. “Jesus called a little child to him and put the child among them. Then he said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven.” Matthew 18:2-3
4. “No, and I tell you again that unless you repent, you will perish, too.” Luke 13:
5. “Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven.”Matthew 10:32-33
6. “So I tell you, every sin and blasphemy can be forgiven-except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which will never be forgiven.” Matthew 12:31
7. “But I warn you-unless your righteousness is better than the righteousness of the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven!” Matthew 5:20
8. “But Jesus told him, “Anyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God.” Luke 9:62
9. “Then Jesus said to his disciples, “I tell you the truth, it is very hard for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. I’ll say it again-it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God!” Matthew 19:23-24
10. “So every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire. Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.” Matthew 7:19-20
11. “But I say, if you are even angry with someone, you are subject to judgment! If you call someone an idiot, you are in danger of being brought before the court. And if you curse someone, you are in danger of the fires of hell.”Matthew 5:22
12. “If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.” Matthew 6:14-15
13. “If you love your father or mother more than you love me, you are not worthy of being mine; or if you love your son or daughter more than me, you are not worthy of being mine. If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine. If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it.” Matthew 10:37-39
14. “And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak. The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you.” Matthew 12:36-37
15. “But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea.” Matthew 18:6
16. “So Jesus said again, “I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you cannot have eternal life within you. But anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise that person at the last day.” John 6:53-54
Will many fail to enter God’s Kingdom? Yes! Even those who claimed to be Christians & followers of Jesus will fail because they refused to obey his laws & conditions by which salvation would be obtained!
“Someone asked him, “Lord, will only a few be saved?” He replied, “Work hard to enter the narrow door to God’s Kingdom, for many will try to enter but will fail.” Luke 13:23-24
“You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.” Matthew 7:13-14
“Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.” Matthew 7:21-23
“Just as the weeds are sorted out and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the world. The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will remove from his Kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. And the angels will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in their Father’s Kingdom. Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand!” Matthew 13:40-43
How do we determine if scripture is being misinterpreted? By simply going back to what Jesus said and letting his words show us the truth. Anyone who continues to preach scripture that contradicts his words should be avoided and exposed as wolfs.
“Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:31-32
Don’t forget, the Devil was an angel and even quoted scripture when he tempted Jesus but it was Jesus’ full understanding of scripture that led him to quote scripture back to the devil in order to reveal God’s truth. This is why scripture (God’s Words) is also important on our journey.
“But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4
“Get out of here, Satan,” Jesus told him. “For the Scriptures say, ‘You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him.” Matthew 4:10
“Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves.” Matthew 7:15
Did people misinterpret scripture in the past? Yes! Even Jesus had to correct them.
“Jesus replied, “Your mistake is that you don’t know the Scriptures, and you don’t know the power of God.” Matthew 22:29
“Then he added, “Now go and learn the meaning of this Scripture: ‘I want you to show mercy, not offer sacrifices.’ For I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.” Matthew 9:13
Our sin is that we slowly begin to believe the words of others and even the apostles own words over Jesus as they’re distorted to justify a different path to salvation. We stubbornly cling to their words instead of his.
“The world’s sin is that it refuses to believe in me.” John 16:9
" the devil has been whispering in my ear that I just might hear God say "I never knew you" and this has been breaking my heart "
Next time you hear this, say out loud I reject this thought you placed in my head. repeat it, repeat it until it subsides.
If that doesn't work, say "I curse you demon by the blood of Christ. I command you left me alone and match to the pit and stay there."
@Antonio Rodriguez You say people keep changing scripture, yet the very first verse you used was edited.
Mark 10:24 really says:
And the disciples were astonished at His words.

Just make sure you don't keep spreading this heresy to pollute the faith of others so your hands become strained with their blood.

Might want to revisit this one
John 3:16 says
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth
in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Believeth means believe and CONTINUE TO BELIEVE
lets don’t base our belief system on a utube video,
But the actual word of God
Scripture doesn't contradict scripture. To be in the book of life you are saved, God says He will blot out ones name for taking away from His word. Hence lose salvation. God doesn't take it away from us, it is by our own actions free will we let go of it.
Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
SO NAMES CAN BE BLOTTED OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE.
This is really powerful
Today I am listening for the 3rd time
GREAT VIDEO BROTHER ALLEN.
OSAS is unbiblical and not rooted in the teachings of Christ and his apostles
Jesus is the God of the old testament.
Your absolutely right!! A Christian can't lose their salvation. However, the believer can abandon their salvation by walking away from the Lord and His ways. The Lord will go after them with a passion to get them to repent and welcome them back in.......:)
Well said, and it explains everything so much better!🙏🏽🤗
That being said, that most certainly can cause you to lose your salvation which in regards to that.. once saved always saved is destroyed.
Did you fail to watch the entire teaching here? We are sealed unto redemption. If you can walk away, then you were never saved, one of his.
@@karenroyal57 wrong. Lucifer walked away from his glory.. are you telling me he was never God’s own?
Thanks! For your clear exposition of Gods word. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
BLOT OUT
The bible warns that some will depart from the faith in the latter days ( you can’t fall away/de[art unless you were a part of it to begin with). The Bible warns about Backsliding (you can’t back slide if you didn’t slide forward to begin with). Also, there is reference to people’s name being blot of the book of life (your name can’t be blot out unless it was written first).
Amen. All of the early church fathers believed that one's salvation could be revoked or, quite frankly, given up.
OSAS = Doctrine of Demons
Uh..... Paul? Is he not an early church father?
Then who exactly will actually make it to heaven because if we have the ability to lose salvation we will in fact lose salvation that also means that the blood of Jesus was not strong enough in the first place
@@believingintheblood8540 Fortunately, we have a merciful Lord. If we ask for forgiveness for our sins with a contrite heart, we will be returned to the friendship and grace of God. This is where the blood of Christ comes in and He washes our sins away if we are contrite.
Those who do not ask for forgiveness for their sins are the one who have the problem as the sin of pride is what leads most to hell.
@@believingintheblood8540 who will actually make it to heaven? Jesus answers that question my friend!
"He who endures to the end shall be saved"
This was well-sourced from scripture & VERY useful. Thanks Brother Allen!
■ "If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the
fire, and they are burned." (Jesus, in John 15:6)
■ "Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, *if
thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off."* (Romans 11:22)
You must first *_be_* a branch before you can be "cast forth as a branch" or "cut off." And obviously we *can* be
"cast forth" after becoming a branch. Jesus did not say "once a branch, always a branch"! It's nothing less than
delusional insanity to think you're "saved" even after being "cast forth as a branch" and "burned."
Jesus clearly warned what would happen to servants who returned to sin:
■ "But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and
maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;
The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will
cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers." (Jesus, in Luke 12:45,46)
"Once saved, always saved," with "eternal security"? Apparently not.
Sins "all paid for, past, present and future"? Apparently not.
That servant was going to pay for his sins himself.
The apostle Paul had the holy spirit. Paul clearly refuted "once saved, always saved": he stated it was possible for him
to revert to a life of sin and therefore be rejected . . . thrown out . . . a "castaway":
■ "But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I
myself should be a castaway." (1 Corinthians 9:27)
There's a message there for all who have been misled to believe that *having* the holy spirit is a "guarantee" of your
salvation. We must remain in repentance, being *_led_* by the holy spirit (Romans 8:13,14) and "walking after the
spirit" (Romans 8:1) . . . not just _having_ it and ignoring it.
We must choose to be led by the holy spirit. Note the "if"s:
■ "For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." (Romans 8:13,14)
If - after overcoming sin through knowing Jesus - a person then returns to a life of sin, "the latter end is worse with
them than the beginning":
■ "For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus
Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn
from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that
was washed to her wallowing in the mire." (2 Peter 2:20-22)
Here is another warning "if" about returning to a life of sin:
■ "For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for
sins,
But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries." (Hebrews
10:26,27)
Here's more of the many warnings not to fall away. Note the "ifs" with conditions:
■ "Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye
shall never fall:
For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus
Christ." (2 Peter 1:10,11 )
■ "Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;" (Hebrews 3:12
-14)
■ "If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:" (2 Timothy 2:12)
■ "And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have
heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;"
(Colossians 1:21-23 )
It IS possible to fall away, even after being made a "partaker" of the holy spirit! There would have been no point in
writing the next passage if it were impossible to fall away:
■ "For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made
partakers of the Holy Ghost,
And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh,
and put him to an open shame." (Hebrews 6:4-6)
We *can* "fail of the grace of God":
■ "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and
thereby many be defiled" (Hebrews 12:14,15)
Our names CAN be blotted out of the book of life:
■ "He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of
life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels."
"And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the
book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." (Revelation 3:5 and 22:19)
Judgment is on "the house of God" - His church - right now:
■ "For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be
of them that obey not the gospel of God?" (1 Peter 4:17)
■ "Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of
it." (Hebrews 4:1)
We have warnings not to fall away for this very good reason: we CAN fall away.
God give us a free will that is y we have a choice after we are save

@@vtwinjimmyful Nice to get a "thank you" instead of the usual "heretic"/"son of the devil"/"dog of Satan" accusations.
The apostle Peter gave this warning:
■ "Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these
things before, beware lest ye also, being led
away with the error of the wicked, fall from your
own stedfastness.”
(2 Peter 3:17)
Is it not implicitly *_obvious_* that we CAN be "led away with the error of the wicked"?

Thank you so much for posting this, brother. My heart has been heavy and I really needed this Bible study right now. God bless you!
Wow, brother Allen you gave a Lot of new insight on some verses that I had never thought of , but should have. This was very edifying
That's correct. You are describing the assurance of salvation. The way you get to heaven is 1 John 1:9 and Mat 24:13. There is no such thing as OSAS.
Again love your neighbor as yourself, love your neighbor as yourself, which means all mankind, every human being.
Very well written and explained!
@@ladyjacquelineallen4942 thank you sister! Writing and explaining are some of my best gifts!

You are exactly right, what we do is what we get in the end.
Galatians 6:7Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
"6/19/07 From YahuShua HaMashiach, Our Lord and Savior
The Word of The Lord Spoken to Timothy
For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear
This question was asked of The Lord, for a brother in Christ: Lord, can our salvation be lost?
Therefore, O arrogant generation, you do greatly err;
For upon this one truth is The Kingdom
Built and everlasting life established:
Salvation received in Me is forever, as I am forever and unchanging...
For I have already told you, this is a cord which can not be broken.
It is made of the finest thread and the strongest steel,
And in no wise shall death prevail.
Therefore, understand Glory and the power of the cross,
By which I have sprinkled all nations, all peoples and all men:
Only one’s complete rejection of this Truth,
In the hating of My name, keeps them from Salvation and Life,
Of which I offer them in rivers of living water mixed with My own blood,
Which is poured out from My side, of which all must drink,
Even to the eating of My flesh to have life, life without end...
And so the day is coming and is already here, when all shall know
God and the power of The Messiah, when all shall sit before My throne;
Some to My right hand, and some to My left; even so, amen...
Therefore, let it be done and come to pass according
To how it is and was written; behold, even by
My own hand shall all things be fulfilled...
Come to Me, therefore! Come to Me in spirit and in truth!
Beloved, gather around, and let Me heal you and sanctify you!
Your salvation is assured!"

Grace and Peace.
yep same thing

Please let me know, if Allen Parr made a video about this or even responded back to you, because I really would love to see the real truth in all of this. Thanks 👍

QUESTION:
King Saul was filled with the Holy Spirit.

Yes same questions... and yes ! have returned to bible study church and worship, Blessings and aloha

I used to think I could lose my salvation. I found myself sinning more and more and constant fear when i messed up. All it took was true understanding of this scripture
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” - Ephesians 2:8-9
Jesus is my saviour, not myself.
Amen 🙏
I can't not sin.. I don't want to but I still do.

Wrong.
@@rayashleigh494
Salvation is a gift. Jesus is the gift giver. The problem is that you’re operating from a false assumption that OSAS is biblical before you approach the scriptures and then that fuels your interpretation of scriptures with that presupposition as necessarily true. We know this isn’t the case as pointed out by Jude’s warning;
_“Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose _*_fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead,_*_ plucked up by the roots;”_
Jude 1:3-12 KJV
1.) they were once Saints.
They will be the Matthew 7 people saying "Lord, Lord havent we done many wonderful works in your name" but denied Kingdom entrance
If I pledge & sell my soul to Lucifer as my last day alive as a Christian do I still make it into heaven?
@@tlam8086 If you sell your soul to satan, you were never saved in the first place. REAL faith in Christ will want a REAL believer to draw closer to Christ...not deny or reject Him.

I've had people become hateful with me when I say you can't lose Eternal Salvation. Great video that's very detailed.
Allen please explain the following.
How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?
Hebrews 10:29
Punishment for people who once were saved but turned there back on Jesus. So you can loose your salvation.
Then, for every promise there's a condition. You should have started with verse 27 in John:10...
My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.
John 10:27-28
The conditions are:
1. hear Jesus' voice
2. follow Him
Listen, obey and follow Him.
Luke 9:61-62 KJV
The cursed fig tree in Mark 11:13-15, which I believe that the tree is symbolic for the BELIEVER who as in this case don't bear ANY FRUIT.
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Hebrews 12:14 KJV
Without holiness (purification), we will not ENTER the KINGDOM!
@@OtisBurgos I will do my brother. Stay blessed 🙏🏽
Very close to Catholic doctrine here.
Thank you! I think leading people to believe they are saved no matter what they do is a false prophecy. Jesus meant we are saved only as long as we follow him in All ways, otherwise you make a mockery of his words using them the wrong way.
Hi Allen,
I would love to have a open discussion about this topic if your are willing thanks for making your views clear. 🙏🏾
@@TheBLACKboard65 God bless, brother!
