It's been a few months since I made this video and I have to say, Posh Malt is a pretty good clone of Pure Malt! Much closer and more enjoyable than it was the first time I tested it.
Thank you for your video. Did you end up getting Star Men Nebula? Looks like you have Star Men (black and purple box). I have both Nebula and Posh Malt, I enjoy both but lean more towards Posh Malt.
You're welcome! Yes, I did open and try Star Man and it's great. I'm not interested in Nebula since I already have Posh Malt and a few people told me they like that one better. I really like Posh Malt now, after some time with it.

I still got the Creation 2013 Limited Edition which is considered one of the rarest editions of Pure Malt, almost impossible to find selling nowadays. Bought it back in 2014. Many reviewers (Max Forti being one) say it is rounder, smoother, fruitier (dried fruits) and has a more pronounced whisky note. I can't confirm that since I never tried the original 2009 version.
I never tried pure malt it got discontinued as soon as started collecting. I own pure havane and love it. I need to check out animale animale. Great review my man
Pure Malt was the shizzz when I was just getting into the YT fragrance world. And yes....that was a pun. 😂 Seriously though, everyone had it in their fall and winter lists. Date night and most complimented lists too. One of the few fragrances I ever paid full retail for. Unfortunately, it really doesn't smell posh to me. More like...melted red gummy bears. 🧸 Still wear it from time to time. Appreciate your thoughts Steven!
Make sure to give it some time to mature in the bottle and try it out again. I noticed the drydown is much closer than the opening. It does have a A*Man vibe in the air, but I agree a lack of booziness.

I believe it. The original is very similar to the regular A*Men; I don't sense a strong whiskey note there. Nice find!
PM was around for a year or two, went away. Came back again for a year when I picked it up.
Yes, there are two (or three) distinct boxes. Heard there was one reformulation.

Star man nebula is a beast and it’s waaaay better than posh.
That's not what I heard. But I haven't tried it myself.
I have posh malt and it’s nothing like the original. It’s very light and sweet, but lacks the booziness. A poor clone.

it's the same thing. to call it a poor clone is funny to me.
@@the-chameleon It got much better over time, now I feel like it's 85-90% similar. I still compare them hand to hand.
