I mean they can be stopped. If LA had the water available. Historically you would have homeowners volunteer to protect their homes and put out spot fires. The firefighters would then fight the main fire, without having to be worried about their retreat being cutoff by spot fires starting up behind them. Those homeowners can't hold the line from the main fire, but they can easily stop spot fires that are caused by a few embers if they get to it fast. But it's much more difficult when you cutoff the water or have so little water that people lose water pressure and can't even use a hose. Even then there are multiple stories of people protecting their homes, some with just the water from their pool and dirt. Of course there is still some risk if the firefighters lose control of the main fire, and due to the smoke. Just for example I can remember on a fourth of July having an accident with some fireworks in my neighborhood. One of those box type things that shoot out multiple fireworks. Someone lit it and as they ran away accidentally knocked it over on it's side. It was in a cul-de-sac and each time one of the fireworks went off the box would spin around and the next firework would shoot out in a random direction. After everyone running around and dodging something like 20 fireworks it finally stopped. It had started 3 different fires, at least one of them in a large bush right next to a house. Within a couple of minutes all three had been put out by either dirt or water from a hose. Used barely any water compared to an entire house, and nobody even bothered calling the fire department. It's completely possible for a homeowner to handle small spot fires if they recognize and respond quick enough to it.

@ energy released CAN be measured & is & btw there is absolutely exploding trees in front of these events. I've not heard the exploding stories from California yet, likely they are there & just haven't yet become the primary story, they certainly happened in Hawaii, didn't they. The Hiroshima level event if you want to look it up was "Black Saturday" 2009 Victoria & there was no need for sensationalisation, the establishing the energy level was about figuring out the heat & what was needed to survive future events of that level. In many cases it was established that it wasn't possible & rebuilding in the same locations simply had to be banned
We are feeling the heat from our mistakes as caretakers of this rare space rock that lives and breathes life. Let this hard realization grow louder..we are all accountable in some way. Thoughts are with the Californian families bearing the worst of it 🖤
LA wildfires in terms of house burned and personal property related loss as well as mental loss need to 100% be absorbed by California government payments and compensations.
Now it's the time to push against those who believe they can keep living the way they've been living their whole lives. Let's hope they rebuild with small houses, neighborhoods instead of suburbs and public transport instead of cars.

Easier said than done....50 mile per hour winds, very little rain in Santa Monica for the last 8 months, and possible arson attacks are some of the factors at play here.
@@samT1227 We learned how to clone animals, create AI and land robots on mars, yet according to SamT1227, preventing wildfires or having enough water to fight them is just too hard.
@@samT1227 No, they have a point. I'm an American living in Japan. They try to prepare for disaster...always. A small city where I lived in Aichi had a street flooded after a heavy rain. The prefecture decided to dig the river 2 meters deeper in hopes it wouldn't flood again. Meanwhile my sister's condo in NJ had a small stream nearby that flooded several 1st floor condos. Per their conditions, everyone had to pay for damages which cost my sister $5000. Luckily she could afford to pay it. Some of the condos owners couldn't and were forced to sell. Nothing was ever done to the river that caused the flooding. Here in Japan every major river in a populated area has high embankments. Glass actually has to be shatter proof in case of earthquakes. (It can break, but can't shatter. I worked for Asahi glass and they add a chemical which prevents shattering). The Tohoku earthquake caught them by surprise. But since then all of the coastal cities on the east side have seen their seawalls double or triple. (Yes, they did have seawalls, just not that high. How many seawalls does the US have?) My point is that here we constantly prepare for disaster. in the US, well, not so much. Actually, almost not at all. Local Florida officials have begged their Fed reps to get money to allow them to build coastal defenses but they always refuse. Instead they literally vote against providing any aid to other states struck by a disaster but when they are hit they fully expect the Feds to bail them out.
Thanks for the devotion and bravery of all the firefighters who worked night and day to put out this fires! Your selfless dedication is truly inspiring and admirable 👍👍👍

People need to come to terms with the fact that the majority of California has evolved over hundreds of thousands of years to revolve around fire spread. The trees and other vegetation that grow there regrow quickly, burn easily, and enrich the soil with their ashes over and over. That is California’s ecology on a very basic level. Humans may as well be living on hot coals in California and they need to accept this is a fact of life for them.
They lost their daughter 14 years ago. Her ashes are still around because ashes don't burn...by the very definition of ashes. Such a strange anecdote. I'm sorry for their loss 14 years ago but that has nothing to do with current events.
Well sure but they obviously had them preserved in an urn, which they now no longer have. The ashes being mixed with those of the remainder of their house aren't much consolation and just adds to their grief.
They lost their daughter, had her ashes in an urn, then their house burned down with that urn in it. Im sure you could understand why that would be devastating unless you're a robot.
But hey, fire fighting aside, after all, LA Fire Department has a very impressive gender and ethnical employee distribution, which is what really counts!

Imagine you can't read a history book and think the Jews put the Palestinians into camps when it was their fellow Muslims who did that. Learn history, because you are blaming the wrong people and the ones responsible are the ones refusing to allow any Palestinians into their countries.
These American leaders never learn anything. Too greedy.

Please do as we do in Australia & evacuate early (we evacuate at dawn of any high risk day, regardless of disaster status at the time, go to a mall or library or something in a built up area for the day each day) & also, if you have a pool, put a sign by the road letting first responders know, so they can use it for water when the hydrants go down, without any delay in finding pool locations.
Please stay safe everyone, take it seriously! One of ours had the energy of 1,500 Hiroshimas, yours no doubt have at least the same right now, treat the threat as such!
Sending all the love & support we can from down under
"had the energy of 1,500 Hiroshimas" what hillbilly Australian academic came to that ludicrous figure for sensational effect?😂
Fires have NO explosive power to make any such comparison.
Thank you Australia.

LA wildfires in terms of house burned and personal property related loss as well as mental loss need to 100% be absorbed by California government payments and compensations.

No pressure equals to no water ! What are you trying to say ? Reservoirs were empty! If you are in an active fire zone, in dry season, have no forest management in place, 3rd world country power grids, the one thing you should have is water !
Due to lack of reservoirs built that were passed and funded a decade ago. Why were they not built you ask? It COULD affect the migration of flies and never built due to ecological reasons supposedly.

Ask Allah swt for help only
