thanks for this, did it twice about 10 hours apart. I used 20V developer, process time was 30 min each time and I wrapped my hair in saran wrap. I followed each with a deep conditioner of ( hair mayo/coconut oil and castor oil ) for 4-5 hours each. After the 2nd bleaching I used T18 mixed with a small amount of 050 to tone it then used shimmering lights shampoo. Very happy with the results, roots also look fantastic. Thanks again!
I put press n seal over my ears but my scalp was burning in seconds, I kept it on for 30 minutes and got hair as white as snow. Love it thanks. Edit one thing I did differently was I used Aluminum foil (shiny side) and a shower cap as well.

Also I have a question I recently bleached my hair and around the crown area I noticed it was a pale yellow would you recommend for me to bleach it again just where the yellow is of course or do you think Toning/Purple shampoo can help as I just continue to wash my hair? Hello, Melissa! I'm glad you enjoyed my video. I wouldn't recommend bleaching again. Try using a toning/purple shampoo every day. Sometimes that corrects yellow without bleaching. Good luck!
Hi! I saw this video and 👏🏻 But i have a question hope i will get an aswer :) My natural hair is medium brown mixed with grey hair 35-40% I want to bleach ny hair at home first time in my life. Planning to use blond powder from wella and schwarzkopf activator. Wana go blond. So can i use 20 vol activator to bleach ? Because i think 40 vol will damage my hair. Or better to try 30 vol? I watched so many videos few people say roots bleach with 20 vol, the rest 30 vol. after bleach i wana dye hair with schwarzkopf arctic blond. Hope to get from you reply 🌹
I only recommend 40 volume if your hair has a medium coarse to coarse texture and if your natural hair color is black/brown to black. I agree with you that 40 volume would damage your hair beyond repair. If it’s you’re first time going blond, I strongly suggest you go to a professional salon. Don't use 40 I ended up having to shave off most of my hair because it became a tangled mess Everytime I washed it, and it's super painful just do 20 twice or even 3 times not the same day
It sounds like you had prexisiting red hair color, you should have used a color remover first then bleached it (I'm a licensed cosmetologist/instructor that bleaches myself and clients often
No. Dyeing adds pigment to hair. Bleaching literally removes pigment. That’s why you bleach black hair, brunette hair and red hair. You can only achieve blonde through reduction or absence of pigment.
