While you’re doing pavers as a patio look at a surround around the rest of your pool as well. It’ll save your grass and reduce mowing while giving a more stable surface to get out of the pool ❤️you two!!

Been watching a few a few of your videos and I really enjoy them. I just saw this one and I wanted to comment about the deck. I believe that you guys live in New York which means I think if you put a deck out you pay property tax on that square footage. However, if you put a patio of concrete or pavers you will not pay property tax on that. Just something to check out

Instead of pavers around the pool, might you consider a deck from the same recycled material so the far corner of the yard is ‘cleaned’ and matches the deck off the back of the house?

Their deck isn’t stacked, it’s all on one level. Or are trying (very trying) to make a bad pun?
When your new deck is done, and winter comes, if you’re the sort to shovel snow off the deck, I strongly recommend using a plastic snow shovel. Metal snow shovels will scratch the composite material, plastic shovels will not.
