Hello again,, I was formally trained in metalworking and I now appreciate the thought processes that Chad has, about using what you have. i am applying this to my efforts to build and maintain a small sapphire mine here in Central Queensland Australia, where there is plenty of old and junked equipment
Nate has the steering column couplers figured out along with the inner workings. Nate's years of mechanical experience really shows when he knows what general parts from various old cars can be inter-changed. The plexiglass rear and rear side windows look great !!! Good efforts by chad and Doug.
Your restoration videos are a treasure trove of knowledge and craftsmanship. I love seeing the dedication and hard work you put into every piece. Keep up the amazing work
Hi everyone hope you all are having a great day and Chad you all will figure everything out and it will be done right. God bless and have a blessed evening and night
just a suggestion...relocation the gasoline tin sign with the Indian Chief to another location so you can see and enjoy the complete sign...stuff on the work bench blocks the view...I watch you guys everyday...Bad Chad fan from Tucson, Arizona...
Been watching your channel for little over 3 years since I was in the hospital with cancer I’m a big car guy love the hot rod you’re doing now and can’t wait to see the Hot Wheels car get done you guys are very creative enjoy seeing the video’s Also like the ford you’re finishing.
I know I called Dug before for how he was drilling the plexey glass, but watching him now he is doing a good job 👍 it's not easy cutting plexey glass, so I apologise to you Dug, you're doing a great job pal, 👍💎
Hi bad Chad. First time commenting but I've been watching for years. Probably 2 years. I do read a lot of the comments and I realize a lot of Them are negative. It doesn't matter. You're the one doing the work and making the money while everyone else Is doing nothing. I love how you take nothing and make it something. Not saying everything is perfect But what is perfect unless God creates It. To me you're a little bit of a mystery. Even though you put yourself front and sooner for all the world to see. I have a question for You. How often do you weld flanges For your headers?
Use lemon pledge on the plexiglass. Been using that on motorcycle windshields and boat windshields for years. Great for motorcycle masks also. Just wipe with a microfiber towel. Perfect.
Catching up, two face tape on windows would hold it, before you tape, weld little tabs around the opening, then stick window to the tape and fold the tabs over to the glass. Nice and secure. Nice job all around
Just a suggestion. Beer keg would make a good gas tank or a mini keg up front of radiator would look good to. Going to be a sweet little ride. Well done team Hiltz.
Sunday Fun day! Nathan's the man! Certainly would cost a fortune if not for his Wiz talents. Coming along ok and should be drivable soon! " Jolene, stop talking so much"! lol Hey Fina girl. tc all!
I'd like to see bad chad build a pick up out of that scrap car Nate used the steering column parts from. I have a good picture to start from. Could be a week project just to turn the window frame and doors into cool pickup cab
I would like to see a roof visor thing or something to hide some of that windshield. Everything else looks good except the windshield looks like something out of a camper or rv.
I’m sorry to say I missed the live show today so I’m catching up on what happened early, I was too busy working on my own project 1967 c10 y’all have a great day anyway
NOTE - If you did not see the video of Bad Chad chopping the top you should go watch it... Eye ball this mark that and cut... when it was over the top was lowered into place with an amazing fit...The greatness continues as these craftsman work.
What do you think they make the bubble car tops out of? It's plexiglass. The hole top is made out of it. There are many cars made that way with formed plexiglass, look them up. He just did it a different way so everyone is giving him crap.
I think the reason Chad didnt use any sealer on the windows is because he feels rushed to get back on the other two cars. At any time in his life he can come back to this car and work on small details like glass. He's just trying to get this to be a running rod.
Nate will sort the steering out no problem 👍 Go for it Team Hiltz 👁🐅👌

Love this build. My type of car. That Nate can make anything and make it work.
No sealant on the plexiglass? WHY? 5 SECONDS can make a big difference
Chad did say he was going to seam seal all the windows!
It's s once a year racecar!

Good job on the camera as usual, Jolene > 🎥👀
NATE can handle it no worries
Not a criticism but a clutter free work bench and a bench belt sander would be an advantage
An old style work shop, plenty of junk and grease and tight quarters
Work bench, that’s a novel idea!
Never seen a clutter free work bench 😅 would be good though
A work bench on wheels will do good roll around. Bench
Wait we have benches under the clutter?
It’s so cheap to have flat safty glass cut. Why even screw with the garbage plastic plexiglass.
You guys are Cooler Than Dang It!
Great job Doug it looks awesome!!!!What a team you have Chad keep up the great work love watching every night
Maritime proud 👍👍👍👍
I've found that lexel clear caulk bonds plexi glass very well and you can cut it out with a razor knife if need be. Easy pezy
Window will rattle should use some silicone
Chad said he was going to seam seal all the windows!
Great shop, always a handy solution to any problem, that’s how is doné, unlike other shops that have all the money and tools, but no talent.
Nate always comes up with a plan to make something work out.
The Wizard has the steering column handled
just a suggestion...relocation the gasoline tin sign with the Indian Chief to another location so you can see and enjoy the complete sign...stuff on the work bench blocks the view...I watch you guys everyday...Bad Chad fan from Tucson, Arizona...
It's Sunday funday go for it bad chad nation
What a gorilla... it would have taken ten minutes to get the tools to take out that column and take it apart correctly.

DOUG NEED TO LEARN MORE HOW TO PUT GLASS BAD CHAD DID HELP HIM BY SHOWING HOW TO TRIM DOUG IS LITTLE BIT SLOW SORRY
Doug is not slow . He’s learning being careful to not waste material and doing best he can for his boss man and friend Bad Chad

I missed the live view at 5 but now I’m watching and keeping up with the builds love the content some talented people there keep up the great work
You have to be really dedicated to do this 7 days a week. Go Team Hiltz….
Probably more enjoyment than dedication
Making the big bucks
😅your lucky to have friends like these. They are always there when theres work to do. Thanks for sharing
Silicone glue it in , unless you are too cheap to buy some
Chad did say he was going to seam seal all the windows! i guess you were not listening.
I'd maybe cover those new plexi windows. The grit & dirt & sparks, etc may be damaging.
I agree about a bench beltsander. It would make things a lot quicker and easyer. I am not critisising, just advising😊
try giving advise to your doctor

Nate , Doug and Jimbo like that . Get Boston Butt on smoker and keg 🍺 and let’s get down and party
Brother u are doing a great job
I like square shape of the radiator better than the shape of the grill he is gonna use
Good job doug, on the windows 😢😢😂
Coming along nicely Doug Nate and Chad Good video Jolene
Sunday funday day with the crew 😎
Nate is the man
everything looking so cool doug great job on the screen looks fitting great build great team thanks as always n qj ty
Suggestion -clear silicone gasket maker would work good to seal up, hold up the back and 2 side windows

Sunday funday!
Should have outlined the first 3/4 of an inch of the window with black paint.
That's a good idea
Hello from Wyo. Thanks
Awesome, Thanks
Sunday
Happy Sunday all

@@rooster5726 so am I
I'd like to see bad chad build a pick up out of that scrap car Nate used the steering column parts from. I have a good picture to start from. Could be a week project just to turn the window frame and doors into cool pickup cab
🎉 looking like a hot rod
It's Going to be BADASS !!
Nate. Has. A sixth. Sense. Finds. Things. Just by looking. Thanks. ❤❤❤❤❤
Nathan is amazing he can build anything from junk cars he is amazing
I think you should hire your glass man and your interior guy to do the glass and interior work, the car looks nice, it would be worth the investment.
Brent its just a 1 time a year race car for Jolene to run. that's it.
Pretty sure the interior is almost complete as it is.
Mr. Chad , if you get some House window/door gaskets, you could modify them to fit the car side and back window.
I would like to see a roof visor thing or something to hide some of that windshield. Everything else looks good except the windshield looks like something out of a camper or rv.
He take nice old shells and turns then into scrap
Dont do this to yourself
Thanks Chad 😊
I think it's a good time for Bad Chad's crome around the front window trim. Covering the screws. Hi Joe.
You will need a cool sounding horn for sure...
A uuuuuhh- guhhhhh horn been nice or General Lee Dixie horn
It's a Plymouth, horn should go BEEP,BEEP!
Excellent work with the camera Jolene. These guys are gettin' it done.
A place called "I did it hot rod stuff" right her in Tecumseh, Michigan makes steering column setups for hot rods. It might be worth a call.
That costs money can't do that
I think the idea here is build it with what you got and spend as little as you can.
What! Think of the money! 😜"If you know what I'm saying!
@@johnelove4714 👍👍
Nathan is your biggest asset. hes saved you guys thousands thus far...he should have his own yt chanel
🦾 That NATE is the MAN ! he is definately a master at Work , THE BAD CHAD CREW ❤️
Plexi-Windows look great Doug!
Just get some old40 lb Propane gas battle they'll make great fuel tanks
Install those windows with black 3M 5200 marine seal , they will never leak or fall out !
you can stop they are in already this is the second time you said it
@@marykay9188 So a what!
@@davescheer5038 So you can let it go now
@@Welder-y5x 👍🏼
@@Welder-y5x I hear ya, and agree , hopefully things will get better .

nice work to all
What a beautiful day in the yard. Cracking some jokes.. getting some stuff done. That's a good day.
AWESOME!
should have got smoke of that light smoke color for the sides like tint but not at the same time
👍👍👍
I’m sorry to say I missed the live show today so I’m catching up on what happened early, I was too busy working on my own project 1967 c10 y’all have a great day anyway
Hey Nate, A stickeroo would be manufactured in Australia.
See how Chad straightened that perspex, easy peasy
@Roy007-xvx well Doug got it all skew to start with!
Nice 👍

Plastic scraches fast.
not if you don't scratch it!
Plus it’s screwed on so you can easily replace with a new one when and if
Fist car with plastic Windows 😮my god

Love you all... community and host ,much love from Ohio
Use simple windex on the plexiglass any petroleum products will create a haze ...
As the project advances they say the last details are 90 % of the work
It needs some pop rivets!
In the aviation industry we use microfiber cloth & mister Sheen furniture polish to clean the screens.
That rod Never Street legal
you are correct, that's not the goal
Team Hiltz, that was abrupt on Sunday funday!
Coming together now . Dream team 👍
What happened to the fork lift truck? A skilled person can use that equipment for a lot more than just lifting things.
A belt sander would be so much faster.
Bad Chad always in a dilemma 😁
Why not add a rumble seat to the hot rod?
It's just a straight track car why have a rumble seat 🤷♂️
@allanperry6507 it won't get finished, and would give him something to fabricate
That Kaiser Willys parts book might have that bearing for the column...
IronTrap Garage for all your hot rodding needs.
Looks like a job for hooty-clips. If they can hold sinks to counter tops, no sweat for the plex?😜
Reminds me of a Trailer Park Boys episode. 😂😂😂😂😂 know I'm sayin...
Nome Sayin….😂
