I don't like to say the word "awesome" very often as I think it's overused. Although here it applies in spades. This example of the Jagdpanther is superb and if you watch and listen to it long enough will take you back in time. Well done!
I have tried to imagine being an infantryman coming up against this kind of heavy armour. The thoughts that come to mind are not pretty.German ww2, panzers, simply the finest, and would not look out of place on a modern battlefield.
This WWII German tanks look so cool, and quite imposing, I wouldn't want to be on a receiving end of one of those. That's an amazing job done, in the restoration of these tanks, they look like right out of the factory, excellent job
No, I'm being 100% serious, just check out the manufacturing cost and times, as well as the amount of time it took to design, adding to that is the formidable bren guns that they would mount to It making the bob semple one of the most feared allied tanks.
Of all the German AFV's, the Jadgpanther is the best looking and baddest beast there ever was. You have to wonder how many allied soldiers dropped a load when they came face to face with one of these machines. All of the German AFV's are bad azz!
Could anyone tell me what the tube is for on the back deck? I’ve not seen them on the Panthers, just on the Jagdpanthers, so I assume they’re something for the TD role. Beautiful restoration.
Unbelievably Good - What a timeless design, the angular shape, big main gun, 'Normandy' triple colour paintwork, the sound it's just wonderful to look at and hear. Rolling back to the sights and sounds of WW2. But where is the MG34 for the porthole ? Hopefully this has since been added since 2017.
forgive my ignorance, does a Jagdpanther need a Ausf.V added to it? never have seen that before is why I'm asking... Great footage thank you for your time posting this, beautiful machine
Hmmmm..... I wonder what it can still do if you replace those 88s with a modern 120mm gun, add some modern sighting and stabilization mech on it....... It can still give other afvs. A run
Instead of spending millions on the improvement of the current Puma, the Bundeswehr should take this Jagdpanther 5 and fit it with electronics and today's modern spare parts, and before you know it you'll have a tremendous tank killer for less than half the price of a Puma.
I believe that this and the :Panther had the same Maybach engine as Tigers, leading me to conclude that at nearly twice as have, the Tigers must have been quite underpowered.
45 to 54 tons, not that much of a differnce, the british centurion had the same hp as a Tiger and also having a weight of 52 tons. But the centurion only had a 5 speed transmission, the Panther a 7 speed and the Tiger a 9 speed. The Tiger can make most out of the 600 to 700hp compared the other two.
It doesnt have a turret, and the weight thus saved goes to heavier armor and heavier weapons. Tactically, the vehicles would have been used slightly differently.
Great video, but you got the name wrong. There isnt a Jagdpanther V, it's Jagdpanzer V. The correct name of the Sd.Kfz. 173 is Jagdpanzer V Jagdpanther. But thanks for the video and sorry for being pedantic ;-)
German World War II tanks reign supreme in the visual Department. They just look so good. Oddly, almost like pieces of Art.
I know what you mean. Its really hard to put your finger on put there form factor is spot on

It's hard to believe that beast is about 75 years old.
Absolutely! It was such a modern shape..!
As the Sd.Kfz. 234/2 Puma was, in another style.
Who could possibly dislike a video like this? When do you get to hear one of these beasts? Great Video
Does anybody know what location this is, or what museum does the tank belong to...?
Only about 450 were produced, but this was by far the best tank destroyer of WW2
Sauber, dass es so etwas noch gibt! Danke
Wonderful piece of machinery. Greetings from UK.
Que belleza....saludos desde Argentina.
Nice Tank Distoyer.
Perhaps the most beautiful tank ever built.
For me, tiger 2 is most beautiful
@PSMRT MSRTA I'm between this one and the Hetzer.....two lovely and deadly tank destroyers.....
Jagdpanther has that iconic, almost beautiful shape and style, and the big 88mm gun up front. If armored vehicles were art, this would be a classic.
Excellent ! Panther line was the perfect machine, once they got the problems worked out. GO ARMY
The Bob Semple tank was better, in every way conceivable.
@@themodelwarrior4222 It's the tank of the future. Its design is timeless.

Always when I see a Jagdpanther I think "What a beast!".
And it always looks like "Ready for the Heat. Give me Targets!"
Exactly! It really looks 'ready' as it stands
Fantastic must get them in the stores for Christmas.
Musik von Maybach...
Ja
Makes me sleep at night,
However, it keeps the russians up all night..! ;)

Das Geräusch vom Motor klingt herrlich. 👍
Genial. Scharmant und sehr Effektiv.
That engine sound is awesome.
Such a beautiful design!
My favorit tank of all tanks. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇧🇪 beautiful restauration guys. Thanks. 🙏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
very brave Sherman tank crews facing these monsters, respect
WOW what a beautiful machine. Too bad there are too few to see anymore. I would have to travel to another continent to see one...
Beauty in motion and deadly as hell👌
Still the most beautiful panzer ever build...
Looks awesome crawling through terrain! So imposing!
piekny i skuteczny pojazd pancerny
Curious as to why the hull tool storage racks are absent on this vehicle?

Wicked Tank Destroyer, like the Hetzer and Sturmegeschutz but this is MY favourite with that great 88mm gun
❤LOVE JAGDPANTER
Holy moly! This is just around the corner from me! I had no idea!
Awesome Jagdpanther!!
Excellent restoration, Nice video
Great to see this awesome tank destroyed running.a rare beast indeed.Great piece of German engineering.
unbelievably cool
Jagdpanzer and the Stug 3 are the best looking tankdestroyers ever built.
Beautiful machine 👍

Great video 👍👍
Nice job of repairing a G1 version with the zimmerit and camo pattern.
how history this tank? how it save until nowadays? not scrapped by allied? thanks

ANOTHER BEAUTY.....
Does it have the same gun as the King Tiger?
Love at 1st sight had the 1 35 scale motorized models still cool...1974.
The tracks aren't painted right? then, how can it be protected from rust?

How many of these are running ?
I must have one. I wont need to use the lawn mower then. Thank you for filming.

Incredible!

You are right. The correct heading is "Jagdpanzer V" not "Jagdpanther V". Thank you for your posting.
Its gorgeous
How are those cobblestones not getting torn up?
Fun Fact, cobblestones streets handle the abuse by tanks better than most other material
Hmmmm..... I wonder what it can still do if you replace those 88s with a modern 120mm gun, add some modern sighting and stabilization mech on it....... It can still give other afvs. A run
When its sitting there idling so loud and tuff I half expected it to get the flag to drag race and peal out!
DEAR SANTA!..!!! 😂🤣😂🤣
Very modern!!,, German tanks of that era looked like they could be rolling across the battle fields in the twenty first century!!
Instead of spending millions on the improvement of the current Puma, the Bundeswehr should take this Jagdpanther 5 and fit it with electronics and today's modern spare parts, and before you know it you'll have a tremendous tank killer for less than half the price of a Puma.
It sound remarkably like my dads old 12t Atlas digger on the move, specially the squealing tracks.
What a beautiful tank o7 respects
One thing...whats with the buckets?
How much would it cost to take a short ride in that Awesome machine!..
Petrol or diesel?
yessss excelent tank , good video
Thank you!😍
I saw the 'V' and my first thought was "Jagdpanther vs Sd.Kfz 173."
tbh I did wonder how that would work.
2:00 It looks like the marshaller is going to crack a whip at the panther if it misbehaves! lol
Damn thats impressive
Beautiful machine
God this thing was a terror, imagine being in a shoot out with this thing at a distance
without being able to target the treads.
Bellissimo esemplare di cacciacarri! Certo chi se lo trovava davanti......
Stug and tiger mixed up!!! 🙂🇫🇮 Greetings from Finnland!!!..
StuG and Panther. ;-) Jagdpanther.
