    An enjoyable presentation. I assume that you have no foundational suits in flannel due to your geographical location? The heavy flannel suits drape quite well too.

    • @AskOkeyInc
      @AskOkeyInc  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @TheMightyKam I do own quite a few heavy flannels and similarly linen suits. However I chose to focus on “foundational” suits. Thank you for watching. PROFF

    • @ruliadultra
      @ruliadultra 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@AskOkeyInc What I meant to say is that a heavier weight suit is perhaps foundational for men in regions with very cold seasons. For example, one might start one's wardrobe with one navy hopsack and one light grey worsted suit for the warmer months and a navy and charcoal flannel suit for the colder months.

    • @AskOkeyInc
      @AskOkeyInc  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@ruliadultra Absolutely correct Might Kam. It’s all climate dependent. However even in cold climates, I’d probably defer flannel for later suits because you could always layer up your 13oz worsted with a top coat. Even in cooler climates, I’d still start out with a 13oz worsted and summer counterparts in high twist or linen for summer. PROFF

    I have a question about a building purchasing my first suit. I need a suit for interviews and also for work unfortunately right now starting this position I been out of work for a four months after being a director of respiratory therapist and the company firing me because my ex was hired and is a CNP and stated the only way she would work there is if I was not working there. I have an important interview and also need a suit for work and a wedding coming up which I could get later on. I watched your video about someone that is shorter like myself I’m 5’9. I don’t want to go to a place like men’s warehouse which is the only place we have that sells suits well there is also Dillards and other commercial companies. What would you recommend I do ? I don’t have much to spend on a suit I have a dress shirts I could use but I want one good looking suit with a vest. The current suit you are wearing in this video is nice but I need something more formal. What would you recommend if you only had a very small amount of money to spend because this will definitely be a part the company is looking for.

    Unless you want to invite yourself to dinner, then Everyman, Everyman, does NOT require a Dinner Jacket, or Tuxedo.
    I wear a suit everyday to work, I am well within the top 5% of net worth in the US, yet I have no need for a tuxedo.
    The EVERYMAN does not need to spend money on a Dinner Jacket or tuxedo. 🎉
    A fine navy suit will do just as well, and be more versatile.
    But that would not be an EVERYDAY MAN, according to you.
