It would be nice to have a separate video in which you discuss the different number folds of ties (i.e 3-fold, 5-fold, 7-fold) and the qualitative differences between them as well as which occasions they are best suited for.
@TheMightyKam. Good suggestion Mighty. In my own experience, these multi-fold ties offer little above a standard 3-fold. Yes they may be thicker or more luxurious (more silk used), but they are often bulky and difficult to knot. There’s always the temptation to think that more is more. Sometimes less is more 😁. If you must go with multi-fold ties, keep an eye on the interlining to ensure it’s not too thick. I usually go unlined for such ties. Hope this helps. PROFF!
"FOLDS"7 of them :an anaconda around the neck! As your lapels, the ties are to wide for me taste .and I try to match the pocket square to the tie. I like your ties 'storage box!I have something like that to keep wine and lunch on fishing trips. Now,about your dressing suit...I LIKE IT !color and cut!.i

Prof., the one important thing you have not addressed while on the topic for ties is how to tie different tie types. I have seen ties tied with big knots, but also some tied with smaller ones. Please, explain which is which? And also, please illustrate for us the simplest way to tie a tie!😂
Ties are very important and even more important is the knot you Choose. I see some guys with a nice tie on but the knot is not in Proportion to the shirt collar. In most cases it's to big. Aesthetics is important also.

Sir, looking dapper in your double blazer. Please, next time, kindly have a shot of your total outfit including your shoes , socks and tie. Nice 👍🏼.

What is your opinion on when to ware a paisley tie?
Great content..as usual!💪🏻
Which tie width do you suggest for your sport coats?
Thank you Simone. I like to pair my tie width with the lapel width (SB). So about 3.75” to 4” at the widest point.

Great video. Can you wear the navy pin dot tie on formal occasions, like wedding and formal dinner with a navy suit?
@@PittsensX Certainly💯
It’s discrete enough
I’ve been trucking and farming and never paid any attention to suits and ties. Lawd I have a lot to learn.
Well let’s get you started then Robert 😅
@@AskOkeyInc definitely. How does it work? Do I find a tailor and get measurements or go to one of your establishments?

Beautiful subject and tie selections. I cannot tolerate the skinny ties of today's fashion. It doesn't work for me.
Classic Width always wins

I don't get it when suits are won with sneakers. Could you do a video on that please
I hope our men will copy nice things and now how to dress well.most men don't dress neet.
Of course my dear
If you dont want to spend a fortune on neckties buy pre-owned/2nd hand. Why pay 50-100 euros for silkties when you can get them for less than 10?
