So easy to get them out/in but the snapping noise is horrible and I always have a fear that, one day, I’ll brake and see a grand plus worth of Porsche headlight flying down the street. I also had the rounded / worn tool and used a socket as a temporary measure. I grabbed a new tool off eBay to keep in the kit. Nice vid.
Yeah it’s a huge difference in price. I simply like the halogen look better. For me, I’d rather find a second set with the clear turn signals and clear corner piece and have the 2 options to swap between for different looks.
I'm pretty sure you are incorrect here. Probably MOST driving enthusiasts with weekend special cars rarely drive at night. Doesn't mean they are not an enthusiast. I have a 1999 996 and it is very rare when I drive at night

Snap!!
I guess it’s good to really know it’s locked 😎
Pro tip: gently warm up older plastic tabs with a heat gun before working on them and you should drastically reduce the likelihood of breaking them
Thanks! 😎
This has been my quest for the last five years either going new OEM Litronic at $2153 per side or new halogen with clear lenses for a lot less...😟

Get a plastic welder and learn to plastic weld. Helps you save some money on all the plastic parts that will break on the 986.
No car guy has ever stated “ I don’t drive much at night “ you are a TH-camr not a driving enthusiast 😂
😂 I’m definitely not a car guy but am really enjoying learning how to get more comfortable working on them 😎
