Why not just bend down on the bar to loosen the allen wrench set screws under the strings? App is working out great. can't wait to put on a new set of strings. Thank you for the great detailed video, it is awesome!
On mine you can move the saddle to a different set screw point, basically back another notch. Then start over with the fine tune adjusting. If you want you can send me a pic of your tremolo.
On my Floyd there is not. It just has 2 pivot mount screws where the trem essentially “floats” and those are fixed. I’m not sure, but there might be other types of tremolos or Floyds that will allow you to do this but as far as I know, the standard Floyd rose design only lets you move back one string at a time. Also you said “after pushing back it’s still flat”… 2 things to address that. First of all, if the harmonic note is flat, you’re supposed to be moving the bridge saddle forward, not back… so that could be part of the problem right there. Secondly, you likely didn’t move the saddle far enough if it’s still not close to perfect. Hope this helps! 👊🏻
Probably a better idea but it was easier to show the guitar in this tutorial lying down. It’s likely a subtle difference but depends on the guitar as well.
Very interesting video, Dave !! ♫
😊
not sure why it took me 30 years to learn this.. Thanks man!

You surely know how to do and how to explain it!

What happens when the saddle is moved all the way back - and the note is still sharp?

What if after pushing back, the note is still flat ? Is there a way to move the whole bridge back ?
