My 2019 still on i tried it
OMG this made my day. We got an old Highlander to keep at our uncles in Hawaii as we are here regularly and he didn't have a working car. Thought those lights would put a big wrinkle in our trip. Not only did you reduce my stress levels you saved us time and $ taking it to a mechanic. Yeah!!!

Thanks so much. Push hold button few seconds, back off push again a few seconds keep it held and turn off. Then without holding button turn back on.

Did what you said & it worked, yay & thank you, ❤ but my master warning light is still on. (These lights came on as well as the engine light, now only master warning light remaining which is triangle shape), Any idea?

How to keep it off. I replaced my spark plugs, coil pack on a Friday my VSC light came back on the next day.

how do u know if it really is failing? mine has abs and vcs as well as ait bag alerts. i just got this car back after my mother passed away, i sunked 1600 in it already before driving it back to FL, it seemed like it did really well. my sister hit a deer in the from fender driver side so I am thinking it might have something to do with abs and air bags but IDK. where can i get all this checked for free? I was told by budget breaks that it the yaw sensor does not seem to be linking up so that could say its not working properly? idk i am so stressed and tire from the pass week.
@CrazieFrogs First have it scanned, Autozone does it for free and they will give you a print out. That way you will know what is the original problem. Those warnings are usually triggered by a check engine warning so you might have a problem completely different from what you are seeing. The emergency brake is on the left side of the Kick Panel, you have to push it with your left foot

Yes I have seen where the parking break is that you activate with the your foot but I’m talking about the hand brake the one that’s suppose to be next to the drivers seat that u just pull up and down the Toyota Highlander 2010 4 cylinders doesn’t have one like that. Is this model only equipped with a parking break activated with the foot?

How do you reset the sound system in a Toyota Highlander
Try theses methods. Press and hold the audio system's volume/power knob for about 3 seconds or until the system resets. Press and hold down the audio system's volume/power knob for at least 7 seconds. Thanks for watching please Like, Share and Subscribe if you haven't already
It happened when I replace 2 axles… but I road test after replace it not showing vcs but now it show

#@am-mj9ee it usually means that you have a check engine light. You have to check what the check engine light is and fix that first

@@BIGWILLSCARCARE I did that. Have code po420. But I changed the catalytic converter 2 yrs back, and they are advising replacing it for$1700, which I do not have. Car trembles when driving, so my mechanic told me to maybe do a Transmission Drain &bFill, which I did di de directly with a Toyota dealer.
@Vicky M this may sound simple but have you changed the air fuel ratio sensor aka oxygen sensor?

@@BIGWILLSCARCARE error code C1201. VSC. I can delete the fault code, but as soon as the vehicle starts moving it comes back. And it accelerates very slowly

@@puerco567 hi. So basically i went to toyota service for them to remove the error. However some if those messages still pop up, and from what they have said it may be because of the Soot filter is full. But the wired thing is that the soot filter and the other errors are kind of not related.
@@puerco567 and the reason why the car was accelerating slowly, is because it has gone into "safety mode" by system, for the car not to get damaged more.
