the biggest lesson i have learned about any digital product is what you play it through, it can either make you hate it and wanna send it back or make you say hell yea this thing is awesome, several pa monitors i used at first with the tonex made me wanna send it back but i too it to practice and plugged it into our full PA it it was amazing. your videos have been inspiring and a big help thanks so much !!

What is the best way to record from the ToneX ? .. USB into the DAW or via an interface ?
Dear Jason, I am wondering is there a workaround about 'set and forget' pre EQ settings, like to be able to bake those in the preset and then switch to post EQ and tweak it wherever you like? When I download some tone net presets of hi gain amps, I want to adjust them once the pre eq to match my pickup and very often I need to lower the bass frequencies to not be feeding the amp and sound ugly and boomy and sloppy, you know, but if I do so, now I don't have the opportunity to tweak the sound after the amp i.e with post EQ. It's a shame. So i guess there can be some workaround that can be applied. Do you figure it out already? I guess the question is, is it possible to tweak some tone model and save it as new tone model, and not save it as a preset? Not sure if this is the solution though...

Hello Jason, watched a bunch of your videos before grabbing a tonex pedal.
Due to work it took me forever to sit down with it. Now that I have there is an issue.
A dark version of my dry guitar tone is passing through in parallel with the captured distorted tones. I'm using it mono (yes correct mono out) direct into my amp power section with cab block bypassed. Global volume turned to -40, all preset gain tones and volume turned to zero and my dry guitar still passes.
It makes everything sound homogeneous as well as frankly disconnected and not good. Has anyone else brought this up ?
I haven't tried a Tone Model yet that I didn't have to tweak, at least a little.
I’m new to ToneX. I’ve spent about 3 hours trying to figure this out. Where is the screen that you show here? I can’t find it anywhere and I’ve downloaded everything I know how to. Also, nothing happens when I plug my ToneX pedal into my computer.
Pretty soon that room is gonna be full of amps and you’ll be poking under a blues junior to address the audience haha it has begun!

Hey Jason, sorry but I think you didnt get the "eq fear" thing. People are not afraid of eq'ing post amp people are afraid to use the modelers/profilers eq because it wont react like the eq on the real amp and it will artificially chance your sound. E.g. some amps will add more gain as you ad more mids and so on...

I can’t even pull up the librarian on the desktop computer. I need a complete idiot proof guide on how to use this software transfer into the pedal etc.. Does anyone know of videos for this?
Can I ask if you are using the plugin version or standalone? The Librarian is only available on the Standalone version of Tonex. Let me know if that helps :-)
Yes, I’m using the standalone version with the physical hardware. However, I don’t use the desktop computer much at all, so knowing what I need to download and open and the whole process isn’t explained very well anywhere.

Just realized that it’s not in my free software from the pedal purchase? Says it’s $149.99
I see tone max available, but not tonex
