i’m so tired of the industry and companies trying to portray the perfect gf or bf, it’s making it hell for these idols that just wanna connection with another person. that shits gotta get really lonely fr…
People hit you with the “she’s be there for two weeks” line as if that means anything. Just bc she wasn’t in the group for long, doesn’t mean I shouldn’t feel bad that for how her career went
I remember people genuinely saying that she can only be a prostitute bc of "bullying", it was absolutely insane and defending her was like walking into ww3
@@mayusachesswhat the actual fuck? That is so disgusting to say especially to a minor I'm glad I wasn't into kpop at that time I would've lost it too lol
And he didn't even follow her 😭 it was a mistake and man was so traumatized afterwards that he started blocking all the ta*nnie shippers' deranged edits and hashtags off his tagged section lmao
The whole AOA case was insanity. The fact that at a certain point Jimin stopped responding and Mina tried to get into contact with Jimin’s friends and guilt them into finding out information about Jimin was crazy. To this day she still blames her problems on Jimin and AOA as a whole.
I removed the 'Jennie followed V' from tier 1 because people keep telling me i made a mistake. V actually followed Jennie. Not that it matters or makes the situation any different, it's still dumb that Jennie got hate for it but i'm tired of getting hate comments about it calling me uneducated because i made a tiny mistake in a 42 minute long video. anyway, that's why one of the situations in tier 1 is missing. Thanks for watching🥰
I think starting the produce 48 one with "fans theorized that it was rigged" isnt great, because as much as it started out as fan theories, there were police investigations and the rigging was confirmed by law and a lot of people were arrested and sent to jail for serious crimes

Ive and momoland situation is so similar. Edited clips to bring hate to the group and it worke. Unfortunately momoland group was more affected due to the lack of support from company and fans. Whereas ive is pretty successful and many knetz were on their side which helped them. People really have time to sit and edit a video, acting like they are psychologist or body language experts to bring hate to a group they dont like.
Jungkook saying IU was his crush was such a massive domino affect of hate for IU and very irresponsible for him to do as a man. but I do want to defend him a little. I believe he was 15/16 when he said it and 2013/14 was a bit different(idols were often asked about celebrity crushes) I believe all the members said a female celebrity but Jungkook was the most popular member and had a lot of older fans who acted very possessive with him(hybe's history of not protecting minors goes far back) took it too far. It got worse as time went on because IU kept being popular and BTS rising success meant Jungkook was often introduced in video as having IU as his crush. Weirdly, idols would say something once and it becomes their "character trait" for years after. I think that is another flaw in the kpop industry further pushing them as this subhuman thing. Regardless, its sad how much female idols get dogged on. Jungkook is good friends with IU now and they both helped each other out in terms of careers.
Irresponsible for him as a man - lmao ,this is giving "she asked for it". How would he know his fans would react in such an obsessive way and how is the reaction of his fans his responsibility?
@beyourself9032 Did you read the rest of my comment? I wrote that it's irresponsible for a man to carelessly talk about a female idol like that but defended him and said he wasn't a man at all. He was just a child.
@@beyourself9032 Please consider changing your opinion on this topic. "Irresponsible for him as a man" vs. "she asked for it" are completely different situations and should not be compared at all. In the IU/Jungkook situation, IU is the one receiving hate, backlash, and harassment. Although I'm sure Jungkook receives some hate for this situation, he is not the primary victim, and calling him "irresponsible" is not comparable to "she asked for it". Being called "irresponsible" is not even insulting or hurtful for most mature people. "She asked for it" is a phrase that's most commonly used to invalidate a woman's experience of SA, which may be the most traumatic event of someone's life and telling them that they deserved for that to happen to them. They are not the same. Also, South Korea is notorious for having a lot of issues with sexism. The unfortunate truth of the situation is that until Korean society has changed and women are not as harshly criticized as men, male idols should try to be more careful and responsible about what they say. Is it any individual male idols fault? No. But it's the reality of the situation.
15:38 as someone who is both a stay n dive n has the perspective of both fandoms, i would like to add more info abt the whole bangchan scandal (no hate or bias to skz or ive or anyone i love them all < 3) the reason why the whole situation blew up is because bangchan never name dropped which group he was talking abt, but SOME (not all of them ofc) stays started accusing ive of being the group that bangchan was talking abt, which caused SOME (again, not all of them) dives to start fighting w stays n bullying skz, esp bangchan. dives n stays have had beef for a pretty long time due to various different reasons such as the whole wonyoung touching hyunjin choreo thing, the stupidass minive copying skzoo thing n more reasons that r too irrelevant to mention so this fanwar was really big. what made it EVEN WORSE is that bangchan used to do weekly livestreams which were a staple of stray kids' content n many stays would tune in every single week, but after this fanwar jype forced bangchan to stop doing weekly livestreams, even tho bangchan apologised for what he had said, so obviously stays were pissed which caused the fanwar to get even worse sorry if that was a lot to read i tried to keep it short while still keeping in the important info 😭
about the chan situation, chan never specified who exactly he was talking about bc obv he can’t.he never said it was ive so it wasn’t his fault that stays went after dives and ive.a stay herself was the one that made the rumor.even if chan was referring to them or not he would never wanted the hate train on ive.a stay made the rumor so really it was stays fault that ive got hated on. now we don’t have chan’s room anymore bc of immature stays like that, chan has always been one to speak up about things which is really rare in the idol industry but those so called “stays” just took his words and made him look like he was talking bad about ive and like he wanted them to get hate.I feel bad for both chan and ive in that situation(I am stay and dive)
the park bom scandal is extra sad to me because she actually HAS ADD/ADHD and the medicine could have really helped her. even if she did happen to know it was illegal it's awful that she had to suffer just because she wanted medicine for her (often debilitating) condition.
16:03 Excuse me , Bangchan never mentioned any group/idol nor the gender of the group/idol . He gave his PERSONAL OPINION on his OWN PERSONAL EXPERIENCE when interacting with most 4th gen groups. If idols are old enough to date , smoke and get married , they are definitely old enough to say what is on their mind. The only problem I had was STAYS assuming what group he was talking about and hating/harassing that group.
Did I say that he mentioned any group in particular? No. I said that he complained about disrespectful juniors and later on after talking about jungkook and IU said it’s not their fault for having overzealous fans but should think their words carefully.
@@seabasskei Actually what he said was not that big of a deal. Lots of idols have complained about the newer generations lack of respect so why is everyone acting so shocked?? I guess because I stan groups who are mostly 2nd and 3rd gen and a few 4th gen groups so it wasn't a big deal. I didn't find anything wrong with what he said, the only problem I had was those problematic STAYS who assumed which group he was speaking about.
20:14 I feel so bad for bom as some one who has adhd (the substance that she brought to korea is one of the many things used for adhd medication) I know she has adhd too so it’s sad seeing how our medication is deemed illegal in other countries😞😞
feel like the problem with the bangchan situation isn't that he spoke out on it at all, its almost impossible to tell how it would have went over. I think its quite obvious that the problem was the insane fans themselves, both stays and dives eventually (im both a stay and a dive and it killed me during this time lkike)
6:54 it was the other way around where v followed jennie. either way its still stupid how people where making a huge deal out of it, like it really aint our buisness, we as fans aint gonna date them.
I am muslim and I actually agreed with namjoon not apologizing,, The issue when this scandal happened is that most of the hate was due to a bunch of misinformation that was spread, to the point lies even got spread in the middle east and arab news channels had to come forward and debunk a bunch of lies. Instead of pointing out what actually haopened people were saying the most riduculous things and most muslims i knew assumed that the song straight up cursed at muslims and islam which was not the case, i happened to be in the live stream at the time it happened and he was being harassed continuously to the point he had to address it because it went from "the song mentions Allah's name" to "the song speaks badly about islam and muslims and Namjoon hates muslims!",, it also makes me feel iffy how idols had previously posted the song and even attended performances of the song and posted that on their story and they got praised for it, the whole situation just made me feel like my religion was being used for fanwars while none of those people actually cared
literally as a muslim too i don't know why she phrased it like armys were mad at him when i watched as bts antis purposefully weaponised Islam to harass him like always and rm clocked that. thank god he didn't apologise bc there's nothing to be sorry for. same as you, I was mad at the amount of ppl overstepping boundaries to use religion like they do with racism and other important issues to carry out their hate boners for bts or any other idol they hate. the song was literally about a man coming out and his interaction with a muslim driver.....? like leave us alone
Some religious people (not directed at you, and nor Islam specifically) just need to understand that not everyone follows their view which us arguably harder, as religious norms are often portrayed as you can't question them (contrary to social norms that are constantly questioned and keep changing over time)
I feel like this is why fans shouldnt view kpop artists as perfect. It gives unrealistic expectations so that everytime they make a mistake or just act like a human its viewed as a bigger deal then it is. Or when they do something really messed up, fans immediately say my fav could never do this- kpop is walking a very dangerous parasocial line
Like I don’t care. They jumped on that train real quick and loved RM’s answer. People just start to hate and go at people with no reason but their own views. They don’t care to understand others but expect others to understand. It’s also esp people of that religion that does that the most. What’s wrong with saying IU is his type when he was basically a tween, and was asked by interviewers. BTS thank God doesn’t answer those questions anymore.
honestly anyone who thinks namjoon is in the wrong on that frank ocean song is my opp, the song is abt love and islam is not only a metaphor but the song also criticises islams homophobia.. ill always stand on this one😣
I do think people often forget how charitable BTS are. They’ve donated to so many charities so yeah it’s kinda frustrating. The arrogance on RMs live did bother me, but nobody can deny that BTS is doing more for social activism than ANY kpop group (and even just celebrities) and I wish people would recognise that more
One scandal that pops up in my mind once in a while is Chaeyoung's Hakenkreuz scandal. Even though she kinda apologized, I still can't see her in the same light again and can't enjoy Twice's music anymore. It's really sad that a person doesn't think about what shirt they are wearing when there is a literal Hakenkreuz on it
Chaeyoung claimed she didn’t know what the symbol meant. Which I’m personally swayed to believe. Many westerners have no clue what the rising sun flag is or the cruelties it represents, so many of them wear it for costumes or because it looks cool. The same could apply for Asians with the hakenkreuz. Plus the shirt was from the band Sex Pistols, and the dude wore it in protest (anti mom and dad) and to make people uncomfortable. Chaeyoung has been known to like bands similar to this, so she was probably just wearing merch that she liked. Yes, she could have easily googled the symbol, but the best thing for her to do in her situation was apologize and get rid of the shirt (which she did). It was ignorant, and she needed to be educated and held accountable, but the threats and hate went far beyond that.
Bangchan is okay imo, he didn’t name any names. It’s the group of STAY’s that witch hunted for culprits who should’ve apologized. Bangchan was just voicing his experiences and feelings and the parasocials took it and ran with it. IVE and Bangchan haven’t sent anyone to hate maliciously, the loud minority of fans did that themselves.
I agree with RM like yts his choice with no bad intentions but others made it so, like why jump on it when he recommended the song when other artist who did anything with the song nothing was said about them.
girl, you make perfect videos fr. like these are topics i’d make videos on myself yk? and it’s like hit after hit lmao you’re killing it and putting the work in. subscribedddd
I knew this would trigger me.. but i am so thankful for the explicit words you chose for the topic of r4pe.. it happens alot and men seem to really be good at one thing and one thing only- hurting women. And you found the right words. I rarely see clear words being spoken about this topic and i thank you for doing so since explicit words will shock and trigger but i feel like in these situations its better to talk about it ALOT than be quiet and never talk about it.. even if it hurts hearing every incidence where a man has taken choice from a woman but it needs to be said it needs to be seen and you really help victims with this.. thank you❤
i really enjoyed your video, but i dont quite agree with your opinion on the bangchan saying some idols didnt bow situtation as a stay myself and you being a dive i understand you and other dives were upset that ive got hate for things they didn't do, however that wasn't bangchans fault. in his live he only stated his thoughts and his own experiences without even naming any idols, yes he said they were younger, but he didnt drop any names. for a reason. people then interpreted into his words that bangchan meant ive with his words, but we don't know if he did. Even if he meant ive (remember we dont know that bc he never dropped names) he talked from his experiences. is he not even allowed to do that or what? yes he is an idol but that doesnt mean he cant voice his opinion, it was good that he did every idol should voice their thoughts without getting bashed for it. (unless its racist, homophobic etc) i hope i brought my point across, loved the rest of the video tho
But this is the second time chan talked about his alleged experience without name dropping and it caused or heated up a hate train on an idol. The first was with woojin and then ive. Don't you think he should have learnt and understood that some of his fans are immature children that they'll take his words and use it to harass others? Cause like honestly as much as much i adore chan, it'll be a difficult pill to swallow if it happens a third time
@@Justsomegir how is it his fault that some fans go harassing others? just bc others are dumb and mean doesn't mean he can't voice his opinion and thoughts anymore it doesn't make sense to punish bangchan for the actions of others
@@messofkaiyes of course he shouldn't be punished for the action of OTHERS, but they are HIS fans and they've used HIS WORDS to do harass others, so what I'm saying is that he should have been careful with HIS words after the first time, but I guess once is a mistake, twice is a coincidence, thrice?, not so much of how is it his fault. I'm just saying he should please be careful with his words so it doesn't happen a third time. Sorry if this sounds too aggressive, I wasn't exactly in a good mood replying to you, I may likely rephrase this when I'm calm
@@Justsomegirhe had every right to shade kwj after what he did to them, so don’t go hating about that. it’s clear he fucked them up, you can see when they react to levanter from their faces. he has a right to express feeling disrespected as bowing is shown as respectful in korea, the fact he’s the only one to get repercussions for expressing his opinions while others get praised just because he is chan is something i feel a lot of people replying to others talking about this situation are forgetting.
Honestly, the whole RM 'Bad Religion' scandal wasn't even that bad. I think it should be on tier 2. The song is about unrequited love and thinking highly of the person you love. I think you should spend some time searching up the lyrics for a better understanding. I can understand that this may upset some Muslims, but there's no problem with a person calling a religion bad and that's not something he should apologize for, especially with the many immoral rules and unnecessary restrictions made by these religions. If a song or anyone criticizes or speaks up about dislike of a religion, it's perfectly fine. It's been ingrained in us to never disrespect a religion ever, but have you ever questioned the amount of damage these religions have caused? Especially one like Islam that encourages the killing of apostates and terrorizes women.
I kind of am siding with the guy for not going on an apology tour for posting a mainstream song. It must be so annoying to exist and have some part of the internet public always have a problem with something in every single thing you do. I don’t believe those complaining fans were actually offended. I think a lot of times people just like to search for ways to stir up drama hate and complaints at the expense of others
Actually no dives didn’t make it about us. As a dive and stay many stays went under post about ive spamming comments saying he was talking ive and esp wonyoung. So Litterally for many post around that time esp post about ive bowing they would be flooding the comments.
im a stay and dives are innocent! it was stays that concluded that chan was talking about ive and went ahead and harassed ive members ordering them to apologise to chan, as a stay ive never felt so embarrassed at my own fandom. last time stays did that they almost k word kim woojin for things things he didnt even do
The pocky game is about how small can they get the snack without actually kissing the other person, it's usually played on reality shows between a male and female to make it more awkward
yes jennie had 2 solo comebacks, but her first solo was a single song, same with her second. all the other bp members had 2 songs for their solos so i don't see how that as favoritism but i can see how being first for most things was. she didn't deserve the hate bc it's not her fault yg pushed her more
i diagree with the chan one tho chan didnt say it was abt ive and dives just started assuming and random ppl online also took this chance to hate on ive im saying this as a dive who’s ult gg is ive chan isnt wrong for saying it and ppl online assuming and dives are in the wrong here
I respect your opinion. But I don’t think it’s hard to just apologise for a misunderstanding for your fans. Without the fans they have nothing. Mutual respect is needed
@@Natasha.LouiseeI see your point of view as well. However people made assumptions very quickly and judged him then spread hate towards him. he clearly stated he never had the intention to offend anyone and respects all religions. I think the people who were quick to judge should apologize for sending thousands of messages of hate towards him. Again this is just my opinion if you don’t agree that’s okay because i respect your opinion 👍🏻
Yh but it doesn't matter what his intentions were. It's obvious ppl were hurt by what he did so he could've just apologised Like if u accidentally hit someone it's nicer to apologise than saying "Oh I'm not sorry cuz I didn't intend to hurt you" I get your a fan of him but it's ok to hold them accountable yk
I love how he had to emphasize he was 30 years old and can enjoy a song without having to face criticism for it. If people want to get mad honestly take it up with Frank Ocean himself. It's not RMs fault for enjoying a song
Regarding Namjoon's accusations of Islam phobia I think that yes it is that "fucking hard", as you put it. I would be libid if people accused me of such a horrible thing for posting a song. Mistakes and ignorance about certain topics are nothing new, so why would he have to act all nice and sorry for people who slandered him? Of course he would be pissed, and sometimes people don't deserve an apology but a call out. You and I know that while some people were honestly hurt, most people rode the hate train because they were waiting for a chance, so don't be patronizing because you don't get how it feels to have so much people hate you and wait for your downfall.
opinion on chan and ives situation: chan has always been so open, especially during his chan room episodes its obvious he was talking about ive but the hate that sparked between the fandoms was crazy stays are insane im not even denying it, but really all this ended with us loosing our weekly lives and I've getting temporary hate lmfao I hope stays learned from this bc we might loose more shit by our favs
I defo agree with u but i pretty sure it was confirmed it wasn't Ive, they weren't at the festival/show BC was talking about. I think fans just took the hate train against Ive and ran with it which is honestly even more ridiculous 😭😭
First of all. No it was not ive since people were editing the videos on purpose to add fuel to the ive hate train around the time. Ive was not even present in the event he was talking about .But fans took his words and attacked ive. Worst part is most offended people were non Korean fans. He said the same thing again which caused more catastrophe since it reached the knetz. And knetz were not happy. So bang chan apologized. Bang chan is not the number 1 fault but he is in some ways. Because he has created this parasocial relationship with stays, so he should be aware on what to say especially if it's negative about other kpop groups. These are same kpop fans that make up dating rumor out of tiny crumbs so it would not be surprising if fans attack and find the group he was talking about. Since ive was the most targeted one, this happened.
@@karthikamallan5202 im not sure what exactly happened bc im not korean and i didnt know how disrespectful it was but from the videos of ive to be fair ive didnt notice the skz members, they were looking the other way waving to dives and skz came out of no where lmfao i remember defending both sides like crazyy 😭😭😭😭
To add on: Ive’s new comeback, Heya, has been heavily hated by chinese netizens because people said that they was “stealing” chinese culture and claiming it as Korean culture. The hate was so intense that people were telling the idols to DIE and many called them a “culture thief”. Many posted videos of them cutting, soaking or burning Ive’s previous albums and photocards. Wonyoung got the most hate since she was the centre and many chinese netizens were hating specifically on her only. When Miu Miu announced that Wonyoung was going to be their brand ambassador, the comment section was filled with so much hate and people threatened to kick Miu Miu out of china if they do not remove Wonyoung as their ambassador. I’m not an expert and I have no idea whether they were truly “stealing” or not, but even if they were, it’s the company and producers’ decision, not the idols. The idols don’t deserve so much hate. It just saddens me to see how much hate Ive is receiving because of something they can’t even decide. I used to look at chinese social media for kpop stuff a lot, now i just avoid kpop on those platforms at all costs
Chinese people accusing anyone of stealing something is just so funny to me. Those same netizens got mad at a twice member for waving the Taiwanese flag because they think Taiwan is a part of China and then wanna hop online and cry about people 'stealing their culture' even though their country literally imposed the culture onto Korea themselves. Like bro in the ripe year of 2024 you wanna steal an entire country?@?@??@?@ HOW are you talking about stealing culture when you think like that? I never usually open my mouth about this stuff because I understand not many people wanna hear a white, British persons opinion on something like this but oh my god it was laughable to me. To put it into perspective Korea used to even write in Chinese until the invention of hangul. So tell me how their cultures weren't intertwined at least a little. There's a big argument among East Asians about what culture belongs to them, that's for them to argue. But Chinese kpop fans lost their right to complain after what they did to Tzuyang. *idk if i spelt her name right*
You do realize jk was 19 years old and it’s when army were just growing so they didn’t realize how crazy people can be because they are used to other male idols have open crushes on iu and they were never big so they didn’t know the power of their words so you blaming him is so wrong. We should be blaming crazy fans rather than male idols voicing their opinions
in my opinion as a stay on the chan thing, he isn’t the first idol to mention it, multiple idols have. the fact he’s the only one being under fire for it and had to apologize for expressing his opinion on something that he feels is necessary to a point he was live banned and for over a year and apologized over fans over reading his own words is a bit weird and i wish you added he apologized. i agree chan shouldn’t of mentioned it as kpop fans are very widely known for being misogynistic towards female idols, but you have to also understand he didn’t have any malice intent or even a try in pointing fingers, he wanted to discuss his frustration with the younger idols being disrespectful towards their seniors and people pointing fingers just created a problem.
I’ll never get over the idea that artists own something to their fans.. like damn bro, you are not making a deal “I’ll support you and you’ll own me for that”.. apology culture among idols is on another level in Korea and it’s disgusting🤮 RM spoke the truth
i still think bang chan had every right to voice his opinion about something he encountered that was not linked to the ive hate train especially since he was actually very respectful about the way he said it and didn't even mention any names. it's not his responsibility to cradle another group's haters or whatever, the two instances were not connected and he did not deserve the hate at all
I understand why he got criticism tho. Esp cus he made this mistake twice. First time he got too comfortable so I’ll let it go but having something like that happen again that’s on him. I’m not saying he is wrong for speaking out fully cus his intentions were not bad at all but where he messed up is forget his fans are not his friends. Anything he says can be used against him or against other groups even if he didn’t mean to. Esp cus in the entertainment buisness anytime celebrities say another celebrity did something to them without saying names fans will investigate. This happens worldwide. He do not deserve hate at all but I do think he should of learned from this first time that yea u shouldn’t talk about any idol even if u don’t say names cus fans are crazy
@@AUGHHHHHBBGwhile i do agree with you to an extent, it is not his fault AT ALL that people started pointing fingers at different idols when he didn’t mention anyone. he has a right to discuss his frustrations with how people disrespect him, if bts (for an *example, let me say it again *EXAMPLE.*) can discuss about how they were disrespected in their earlier days with zero backlash from people who just want to hate because somehow the shoe fits, why can’t he? he should’ve been more better in wording, but you need to understand the point he was trying to make and he had no malicious intentions or intentions to contribute to ANY hate trains.
@@kuromisoul914 I never claimed he had bad intentions. I used to watch bangchan live streams he was really comfortable with fans that why he felt open to say that. Loved the video! I do just want to go back to your point about Bang Chan's comment when it comes to bowing. He never mentioned anyone in specific, it was fans who blew things way out of proportion. Wooyoung of ATEEZ has also made the same comment when it came to bowing and the lack of respect, but both idols never mentioned any names or situations. Although I believe that male idols should be careful with what they say as it could cause hate to female idols, Bang Chan didn't specify the group or even the gender of any idols. He said it as a reminder that there are younger idols in the industry who don't bow, and then STAYs blew it out of proportion by saying it was IVE + DIVEs blew it out of proportion by saying he was insulting IVE. However, in situations where a male idol is specifically talking about female idols, that is when I agree that male idols should be careful due to the major sexism that occurs today, especially in South Korea. I love your insight and I truly do love watching your videos ❣this was just my take on it
25:14 there's a Korean word that sounds like the n word but it is not the n word. I forgot what the word was but I've seen a lot of Korean people trying to explain this when it's taken the wrong way. Languages are so different but sometimes words sound similar which can often be taken the wrong way. Go ahead and attack me if you want, but I'm just stating facts.
I have to say I cringed at the pizza ad but not because of Wongyoung. I would have cringed no matter who did it. But we cant blame her for doing something the Producer asked. If they said "Please eat the pizza in a flirty way and wink at the camera" and she didnt do it, it would showen her being unprofessional and difficult to work with. I rather think its funny that she was doing it this cringy and doing a good job.
I love your comment about how songs can disrespect religion, like just because you don't mind doesn't mean we just need to suck it up!! As a Muslim, it's our duty (I believe it's other religions too) to defend our faith, it's literally part of the religion and we are sinful if we ignore it. RM acted a bit childish by saying "I'm 30 I do what I want" like if I bump unto someone by mistake I'll stay say I'm sorry, it's rude to act as if nothing happen or to say "hey, I'm 21 I do what I want!!" like just to show that I didn't mean to hurt that person. Also LOOOOOVE you putting your picture in the thumbnail, the video is interesting and organized, you just gained a new subscriber

The loona contract thing was actually insane because they were splitting revenue 7:3 and then splitting costs 5:5 after revenue had been divided, so a lot of times the members were incurring more debt with each activity, and would need to make back 170% to of their costs to even break even. So basically bbc coerced a bunch of mostly teenagers into signing an extremely exploitative contract
I agree with most of your opinions, but the one with jk saying that IU is his favourite type. When he said that, he and bts weren't nearly as popular as they are now, and it was years ago when he said it last. Besides that, what is he supposed to answer if he gets asked what his ideal type etc is? I mean, the other bts membrs all said in an interviews who their celebrity crush was for example. He never intended to harm anyone, it was just that he was not very well known back then, so it did not matter back then. It only is a problem now. Plus, many idols have said that IU is their ideal type, it was basically the most common answer back then, so yeah. I do not agree with you on this part.
Wooseok is like 27, he is an adult, may if it was like a nazi symbol or something really awful. Also he is my bias and he has always been unapologetic about things and I like that about him but I would admit the background make me laugh.
10:25 That's so true it hurts. In one of their latest concerts, ALL OF THEM wore beautiful pink princess dresses, all of them were different but similar at the same time, but all members looked stunning and no one stood out. And a lot of people were still crying about Wonyoung 😭😭 Why? You may ask, because she was wearing a ribbon in the nape part of her dress, but the funny thing is that OTHER MEMBERS WORE RIBBONS TOO!! For example, Liz was wearing one onthe top of her head, which was way more visible than Wonyoung's, but noooo, the favoritism is on Wonyo because potatoes 😭
Where is everyone getting this idea that fans were "disappointed" in Blackpink's tour? You know who were disappointed? Kpop fans who already didn't like BP and probably couldn't afford a ticket anyway. Majority of people who actually WENT said they had the time of their life and in fact praised the girls' performances. But y'all wouldn't know that from just watching a compilation of 3-4 sec clips made by an obvious hater. Also I vividly remember blinks finding the Lisa & Rosé cold war thing to be funny. Again, it was non-fans + solo stans taking it seriously.
Ok but I did see fans who actually went to their concert say that they were disappointed in the disorganisation of the show. That’s not necessarily the girls fault but just because some shows went ok doesn’t mean that all of them did. Obviously not EVERY fan was disappointed but it’d be lying to say that nobody was disappointed because I saw a lot of people leave the fandom because of how bad their concert was. True that people already hated them (for bad reason) but the tour had some really bad and unprofessional moments. You can support and give empathy without just ignoring anything bad
@NatashaLkim Well that's the thing, I had my own personal issues with the tour itself (the production, setlist, some of the costumes, etc.) but very few had to do with the girls and their performances. My problem is how everyone seemed to be focused on bashing the girls. It's like if you ask these people what else they didn't like about the tour, they can't tell you cause half of them don't even know the basics of a tour besides the artist getting on stage and performing. So like how am I supposed to believe these criticisms are in good faith? I'm sorry but I'm not buying the "fans were so disappointed" narrative. Especially when every show ended up being sold out and making hella money... NAH someone is lying to you sis 🤥
I went to the Sydney concert as a non fan. I was pretty impressed, but only because, with all of the complaints, my expectations were soooooo low. I don’t think their concerts are anywhere near the level of groups like Seventeen and Ateez, or even other girl groups I’ve seen like Gidle, etc, but I didn’t think it was terrible or anything.
The tour being sold out has literally nothing to do with fans being disappointed…..? They would’ve bought tickets BEFORE going and to be fair they sold out because they’re blackpink. Plain and simple. I just don’t get what u mean by “well the tickets sold out” you would get disappointed after the concert, no? Not before buying a ticket 😂
@NatashaLkim Lord... first of all, I love how you're responding to one sentence out of an entire paragraph 😭 Second, you're not specifying what exactly these "fans" are disappointed in. Third, the tour went on for a whole year. Fans would've had to have watched multiple clips before even buying tickets to the 2023 leg. it makes no sense to not like what you see, STILL buy the ticket, STILL go, and then cry disappointment afterwards. You knew what you were getting. How the hell was everyone after every concert so disappointed yet every show continued to sell out, with some people even going back for more? Let's think for a sec...
i remember texting nayeons stalker on ig telling him to stay away from nayeon and he told me nayeon was in love with him and that they belonged together!?
If you’re talking about Park Bom (I can’t remember the tier listing anymore) it was because it was misinterpreted by people. People were implying that she was on some hardcore drugs and smuggling them but in reality she didn’t even know they weren’t allowed. ALSO you ignored what the tier list is about. It’s not criticising Jennie for wearing the outfit it’s criticising the public’s overreaction to it. The higher tiers are mostly about the public being crazy about small things
Why should RM have to apologize for someone else’s misinterpretation of a song that he didn’t even create 🙄 you honestly sound foolish for that statement

the problem with lesserafim isn't just the fact that they danced in a church.Seraphim is a type of angel in heaven. While not prominent in their first releases, unforgiven talks about the origin story of Lucifer (the devil), how he rebelled against God and glorifies that rebellion. In concept photos for EASY the Lesserafim members were wearing crowns of thorns (a symbol of Jesus sacrifice) and then there's the dancing in a church.
15:38 as someone who is both a stay n dive n has the perspective of both fandoms, i would like to add more info abt the whole bangchan scandal (no hate or bias to skz or ive or anyone i love them all < 3)
the reason why the whole situation blew up is because bangchan never name dropped which group he was talking abt, but SOME (not all of them ofc) stays started accusing ive of being the group that bangchan was talking abt, which caused SOME (again, not all of them) dives to start fighting w stays n bullying skz, esp bangchan. dives n stays have had beef for a pretty long time due to various different reasons such as the whole wonyoung touching hyunjin choreo thing, the stupidass minive copying skzoo thing n more reasons that r too irrelevant to mention so this fanwar was really big. what made it EVEN WORSE is that bangchan used to do weekly livestreams which were a staple of stray kids' content n many stays would tune in every single week, but after this fanwar jype forced bangchan to stop doing weekly livestreams, even tho bangchan apologised for what he had said, so obviously stays were pissed which caused the fanwar to get even worse

No. I said that he complained about disrespectful juniors and later on after talking about jungkook and IU said it’s not their fault for having overzealous fans but should think their words carefully.
yea but like he knows how toxic stays are so why would he say that..
@@seabasskei Actually what he said was not that big of a deal. Lots of idols have complained about the newer generations lack of respect so why is everyone acting so shocked?? either way its still stupid how people where making a huge deal out of it, like it really aint our buisness, we as fans aint gonna date them.
Some religious people (not directed at you, and nor Islam specifically) just need to understand that not everyone follows their view which us arguably harder, as religious norms are often portrayed as you can't question them (contrary to social norms that are constantly questioned and keep changing over time)
@@xxheart_breakerxx8732what😭
I feel like this is why fans shouldnt view kpop artists as perfect.
It was ignorant, and she needed to be educated and held accountable, but the threats and hate went far beyond that.
honestly surprised this wasn't mentioned
Bangchan is okay imo, he didn’t name any names. It’s the group of STAY’s that witch hunted for culprits who should’ve apologized. Bangchan was just voicing his experiences and feelings and the parasocials took it and ran with it. IVE and Bangchan haven’t sent anyone to hate maliciously, the loud minority of fans did that themselves.

as a stay myself and you being a dive i understand you and other dives were upset that ive got hate for things they didn't do, however that wasn't bangchans fault. in his live he only stated his thoughts and his own experiences without even naming any idols, yes he said they were younger, but he didnt drop any names. for a reason. people then interpreted into his words that bangchan meant ive with his words, but we don't know if he did. Even if he meant ive (remember we dont know that bc he never dropped names) he talked from his experiences. is he not even allowed to do that or what? yes he is an idol but that doesnt mean he cant voice his opinion, it was good that he did every idol should voice their thoughts without getting bashed for it. (unless its racist, homophobic etc)
i hope i brought my point across, loved the rest of the video tho
But this is the second time chan talked about his alleged experience without name dropping and it caused or heated up a hate train on an idol. The first was with woojin and then ive.

I love how he had to emphasize he was 30 years old and can enjoy a song without having to face criticism for it. If people want to get mad honestly take it up with Frank Ocean himself. It's not RMs fault for enjoying a song
14:04 he is right he is a grown adult. He can do whatever he wants. Korean netizens are crazy!
I love how you're serving face in the thumbnail. This video was a good watch

I hate how fans are so quick to assume like they don't even see the idols as humans
opinion on chan and ives situation: chan has always been so open, especially during his chan room episodes its obvious he was talking about ive but the hate that sparked between the fandoms was crazy stays are insane im not even denying it, but really all this ended with us loosing our weekly lives and I've getting temporary hate lmfao I hope stays learned from this bc we might loose more shit by our favs
Yeah it’s definitely the fans fault. I wish idols could be more authentic without worrying about hate trains. Maybe someday we will get there
I defo agree with u but i pretty sure it was confirmed it wasn't Ive, they weren't at the festival/show BC was talking about.
@@fiii2512 thats true he never specified who but fans already noticed ive not bowing even before chan spoke about it, it just made it worse 😭
*idk if i spelt her name right*
@@Natasha.Louisee so true🥲
there are times that i have agreed with you but also some times i wasnt quite on the same line with you
You do realize jk was 19 years old and it’s when army were just growing so they didn’t realize how crazy people can be because they are used to other male idols have open crushes on iu and they were never big so they didn’t know the power of their words so you blaming him is so wrong.
I’m not saying it’s his fault for what people did with his wording.
I’m saying however he forgot his fans are not his friends and every word he says can affect his career but also other people. He not wrong for being mad at people disrespecting him but when it comes to celebrities the second you say anything about another person without a name fans use it. I feel bad he can’t talk freely like that but it’s not a good idea. Esp for kpop
@@AUGHHHHHBBG but that’s not his fault though, that’s the thing. i wish this wasn’t the case, but you have to understand that the fact people ran with his words and put someone in them isn’t his fault.
also im saying this in a genuine and nice way, im seeing my reply seems a bit aggressive, sorry.
I love your insight and I truly do love watching your videos ❣this was just my take on it
already apologizing for commenting as if i was watching a livestream, but 2022 wonyoung hate was SOOO forced 😭 survived being a dive during that era 🫡
When listening to Korean songs you can hear this word being said.

@@Bleepbleep_ BTW i did put in the beginning that i'm NOT a news source for a reason bc i can misinterpret sources and get things wrong. In such a long video with so many situations there was going to be one thing i got wrong there. Either way, i'm sorry i was wrong about it 💝
you are my fav youtuber atp
Great video, only thing I disagree on is RM doesn't owe anybody anything, it's a song and it's very brave he didn't back down from his beliefs.
I came from pinterest where a comment said sitting there talking about scandals then just serving cvnt on the thumbnail😭 SHE'S SO PRETTYYYYY
Bangchan wasn't even talking about I've btw 😭 I've wasn't at the place chan was talking about in the same year
Wooseok is like 27, he is an adult, may if it was like a nazi symbol or something really awful.
It makes sense for people to be angry with a contestant in a survival show lipsyncing
Let's think for a sec...
i remember texting nayeons stalker on ig telling him to stay away from nayeon and he told me nayeon was in love with him and that they belonged together!?

why is a literal crime in the same tier as.. wearing a nurses outfit…
The higher tiers are mostly about the public being crazy about small things

the problem with lesserafim isn't just the fact that they danced in a church.Seraphim is a type of angel in heaven. The point is, their whole concept is based around biblical tales. Whether or not you believe it, using other people's beliefs in such way is disrespectful
