Jeremy, thanks so much for this series of tutorials. I am very late to really focusing on your videos whilst sitting at the synth. I have had my HS Deluxe for a year and have (to my shame) barely edited anything on it. This series and your amazingly informative and clear explanations have unlocked the HS for me. I am creating patches quickly and having great fun exploring the insane depth of parameters and modulation opportunities on this beast. Can't thank you enough - cheers Steve

Thnks for showing a little bit of the patch selection by genre. I don’t no why but you’re the only person on TH-cam demonstrating this 😳 . Imho it’s very important to do a selection by genre quickly when composing a new track ... strangely, no one but you show this

Really great series Jeremy - I think this Demonstrates the depth of these synths perfectly.
I just got a Hydrasynth Keyboard - it's incredible. I am actually going to exchange my Keyboard for the desktop though - I didn't realise how damn big and heavy the keyboard is... It's like 10kg or so! Incredible synth engine though.

When I'm out of ideas, I like that my synthesizer has a "Mortal Combat" function.

@10:00 - don't just keep your volume down, ALWAYS have a brickwall limiter on your master outs when doing synthesis. I have extremely bad tinnitus from failing to heed this warning.

Jeremy thanks so much for putting this series up. Really great stuff, and of course my g.a.s is off the chart now. You should do the same thing for the Wavestate!

Thank you for this series, really informative and well put together. Do you use the Hydrasynth cv ins and outs with your modular? Any chance you´d do a Walkthrough about that?

if you hold down SHIFT + RANDOM, it randomizes based on patches you already have in the synth, i don't know the specifics of that A.I. but interesting to note

There is an issue with syncing to tempo with the ERM multi clock. If the clock is set to 60.00 bpm the hydra plays at 60.07 and if notes are added it just gets worse and worse have you experienced this ? I am using five synths on separate midi channels but the hydra won’t stay in tempo .I’m wondering if it’s an encoder problem my other synths all play nice . Calibration? It’s the latest firmware as is the ERM multi clock which is running on its internal clock . I’ve confirmed with Perfect Circuit that it’s one of those known issues. But since your the exert now and actually seem nice I thought maybe you might know the manual an manufacturer haven’t responded👽

I’d love to hear this in conjunction with some drums/percussion to hear how it plays out in a song! I feel like I would get lost making patches before I could produce a song

this is like the "will it blend" of synths, except instead of motorized blades it's modulation

I guess you don’t care for sequencers that utilize notes on each step of the LFOS too! Lol! They gave an amazing synth with the shittiest sequencer method since deep mind twelves excuse for one . I have looked for a sequence with the LFOS tutorial for this synth there was only one that seems to have disappeared but it was total crapp as most step by steps are now. One of the Chinese engineers who can barely speak English I think . Very helpful. 😂👽
