The best Mini Cooper SE review. You made me look for one. Thank you and I really appreciate it. Mini Cooper should give you something about this video.
Thanks for this detail, looking forward to your future weather test. We are awaiting delivery in Orlando and exploring Florida will be easy with this range, until the summer gets here.
@@hoddinr Hmm.. that typically means a production number hasn't been assigned yet. Dealers have allocation slots, no slot, no production number. We got our production number about a week after placing the order with the dealer, but I have heard of other people having to wait a month to get theirs as the dealer didn't have a slot available to put the order in. I don't know how long it's been since you placed your order, but hopefully you'll hear soon...
I've gotten similar range (159) in the UK in the summer so that's great, it's currently winter with temperatures hovering around 2-4°C and I'm seeing a range of around 110 miles with the heating being used (I don't have heated seats or wheel)
Mine’s in production, too. I’m staying in Green for awhile since I’m 82. Good idea, don’t you think? The video makes me feel better about range. Maybe I’ll make it to Kansas. What are my odds? I just hope I make it to the dealer sans highways in my Outlander PHEV.
The default "Mid' mode is good for daily driving, it tones down the gas pedal response vs "Sport". My wife is a relatively new driver and she only uses "mid". The biggest thing to get used to is the regen braking. If you want the car to coast like a regular gas car, you must only back off the "gas" pedal slightly, until the needle on the dash drops to the "ready" position. This means the car is coasting. If you back off too far the needle will drop below that and start regents braking. Took my wife a few miles to get used to not just coming right off the "Gas" when she sees a red light in the distance and unintentionally triggering the braking. I'm sure you'll love the car!

Glad it was helpful!

Florida is a great place for EV's, good weather and largely flat.
Great content! I love all the details! Looking forward to purchasing one of these this summer!
Thanks! It's a great car...
That's great mileage! Watching your speed in traffic, you drive about like I do. My Mini SE should be here in about a month. In production now.
Glad the video is relatable! Are you tracking your order in the Mini Garage? I was checking that daily when ours was going through production...
@@AndysComputer I asked the salesperson for the Production Number, which is what I need to track the progress, but she hasn’t yet supplied it.

@@AndysComputer Got my production number from the dealer, and signed on to My Mini Garage. My Mini SE is in transit to the Port.
Good job 👏🏾🔥🔥🔥

Thanks for those numbers, I have family back in the UK so I was wondering how practical the car was in UK weather...

Pleasantly surprised to learn that the max range potential far exceeds its advertised range, did you use max brake regen by the way?
I did use max regen, which is the default setting.
