Great selection. New Zealand has some wonderful stamps. Have an awesome day 💥! From HWFAH (Hot Wheels, Lego, Cards & collectables) 👍

Really enjoyed this video as I focus my collection on NZ stamps (I live in NZ). There are some great books if you want to take your collection further; as you have pointed out, there are a lot of varieties to collect along with the flaws. 'Collecting New Zealand Stamps' by Robin Gwynn is a great resource and the 'Campbell Paterson Catalogue' includes some varieties not covered by Stanley Gibbons. There is also a 10-volume series 'The Postage Stamps of New Zealand'. These are very expensive and hard to come by, as they all had a limited run, but they are an excellent resource. They go in depth into the various flaws and printing methods and really are essential reading.

Thank you for this video and showing and sharing the New Zealand stamps. As a relatively recent immigrant to New Zealand and picking up collecting stamps again, naturally I want to collect New Zealand stamps, also as a gateway to knowledge about my "new" country. I know very little about NZ stamps as yet, and really enjoyed and appreciated your video.

Gidday. I'm a collector from NZ and enjoyed your video. I bought an album for $10 from my club, well worth the spend as it had the full set of Admirals, in good condition and 1898 pictorials. I saw that you has two Lake Wakatipu stamps. Check you see if one of them has the spelling error - Wakitipu.

Thanks for the tip, both of them are spelled correctly unfortunately.

Both interesting and depressing video.I inherited my mum's collection of NZ stamps and it's kind of sad to see how financially worthless they are, if you bought this collection for well below 100 pounds ...peanuts...My inherited collection is worth far more to me from a sentimental point of view. I was going o buy the Stanley Gibbons catalogue, but from the look of this video, the catalogue would be worth more the the collection!

Sorry to have disappointed you. There is still money in stamp collecting but in reality, it's only the rare stamps that have value. You are correct in that the sentimental value is often worth more than the financial value. There are free online catalogues which might help you get an idea of the value, stampworld.com for example. I hope you continue to enjoy the collection.
