RSAF thank you for your service to the nation. Thank you for protecting us. Salute to the pilots, aircrew, technicians, engineers and all involved in keeping us safe!
In my humble opinion, the best performers from the Singapore Air Show 2024 were the South Korean Black Eagles and the Indonesian Air Force. Although the Indonesians were flying slower aircraft, their performance was truly well coordinated and demonstrated a level of professionalism I’ve seldom seen in any Air Force.
Well Singapore disbanded the Black Knights aerobatic team, which previously used F-16 and before that A-4SU to do displays.. so of cos the aerial display stars go to the Black Eagles of Korea.
@@lingth I don’t dispute that, the Black Knights were very good. It’s too bad they were disbanded.
@@TheTeaParty320 maintaining a aerobatic team is costly as they need constant training == lots of fuel and also painting 6 or 9 planes red and white for aerobatics. Also takes them off the combat duty..so having 9 expensive F-16 for aerobatics in red and white is kind of a waste.. unless you use training jets only.

For a major airshow like this... RSAF should have flown other unique equipment as well... like the Chinook. Quite surprised F16 didnt do a solo display ! And why the awacs and especially the Fokker 50MPA was not displayed?

Only worthwhile highlight was the unveiling of the C919, the ground floor to Chinese civil aviation and we're here to witness history 😎
