Fading Steps:
1st step, guideline with sub-zero (make sure it drops towards back)
2nd step, guideline with .5 (no guard lever open)
3rd step, guideline 1.5
4th step, 2.5 blend outwards
5th step, 3.5 blend outwards
6th, clipper over comb
7th, step blend out top guideline w/ 1.5 guard open to 3 qtr
8th step, blend second guideline w/ .5 guard open to 3 qtr
9th step, continue blending second guideline w/ 1 guard open to 3 qtr
10th step, blend first guideline w zero, lever closed
11th step, open lever half way, continue blending
12th step, continue blending with lever open
13th step, do any touch up work
14th step, use trimmers to take out bottom hair
15th step, use electric shaver

@@billyllib I felt it was ok. I ran into some problems fading from half closed blade into his parietal ridge.. Scissor over come was needed there. I took what I learned in Barberschool but I haven’t did it in so long we just left it long to avoid any mistakes. But over all he liked it and I was satisfied.

@@FADEDCULTURE Hey! So I tried this strategy and I've had the best results so far with it. I have the same clippers, trimmers and shavers so it made sense for me to replicate what you taught.
I also found it so much easier to knock out the lines after using softer pressure when first creating them. As someone new to barbering, this tutorial was a hug breakthrough for me with confidence and skill. Thank you very much! 👊

Love this channel and all the content. 🔥 My new go to for learning and inspiring cuts... One suggestion on a topic of video that NO ONE seems to cover... what do you do on the fly if you think your client doesn't like the direction you're going with a cut... how do you fix, what steps can you take to go a different direction if you're doing what you get a feeling you're client doesn't like it 🔥🔥🔥
Appreciate the feedback man, and when my client sits on the chair especially if it’s a new client I consult for a couple minutes them telling me “low fade” is not enough well browse google or ig to look for picture as reference that way we’re both on same page and even then will dissect the picture to see what they do and don’t like. I think this for the most avoids all the confusion in general. Hope that helps man
