Whiffing the moves pushes Gill away from the opponent so that you get the spacing for the combos. Things like in the corner, cr HP xx HP pyro > f HK > MK tackle don't work without those framekills
If your cr MP is getting blocked then that means your EX pyro is not at the right spacing to be +6. The whiff LK tackle > whiff cr HP needs to be done ASAP after the throw stun. Also keep in mind that you need to do dash > whiff cr HP instead against Abigail and Alex only
