- Over the years I have tried many road disc brakes, this video I share my experience of using hydraulic disc brakes and mechanical disc brakes.
Hydraulic is pretty much the same, but mechanical disc brakes are very different, some very bad, some very good.
I also measure the stopping distance of all different kinds of brakes.
Me English no good, I add a caption in the video, in case I pronounce some words wrong.

Thanks for this test! Your findings match up with what I've experienced. To be honest, the only reason I'm on disc brake is because it's hard now to find a new rim brake frame with big tire clearance and fender mounts.
It's difficult to do even with disc brakes too )

You should try the new Juin tech F1S. According to juin tech the braking force is the same as their 6 piston gt caliper.
what frame size du you choose? and what height are you?
Of course rim brakes are stronger than disc brakes. Rim brakes are like a disc brake where the disc rotor is the size of the wheel.
Dual side action the best. 👍Japan equal only1 side action. Very high price.👎
