Hey your attention to detail and style hasn't missed a beat! Great attention to detail as usual. I think I said it in your last video I messed up my knee too I haven't been able to ride in about a year I hope you get your knee checked for a torn meniscus that's what happened to mine I ultimately found out after months of wasting time. I had the arthroscopic surgery on it a month and a half ago and I'm already back to riding a onewheel and hopefully EUC's soon. Hope you feel better!
Hi there happy that you like it this was the first video of my new studio software that I’ve been working for the last 2 weeks basically hope that you enjoy the different camera settings. And the details is more who I am and I continue to have severe OCD so yeah that continue the same. About my knee I’m already aware I don’t knee surgery injured two ligaments but they didn’t went to a stage that I need an operation just need to give it time to heal

I was just thinking hey the V11 (OG) is way cheaper now maybe still get that but I think Id be a dummy not to upgrade to the Y with all these lovely upgrades! Loving the editing style with the picture in picture and whatnots, keep up the good work brother :)
Thank you man fist video out that I filmed with the new studio helps a lot saving time and also giving better videos for you guys but this was the 5th video recorded on this setup so the other will be inferior but I changed the order of the videos to put this video next to the unboxing
And yes I would buy the v11y is a lot of changes that will deliver a better wheel like I show on the video a lot of small things that you don’t really see but they make a difference can’t wait to ride at night with it

Great in-depth observations. By far, the best review I have seen about V11Y.
About the pneumatic cartridges for the suspension, they may look the same... but take apart the valves. Since some time, Inmotion is using A/C type of valves on the suspension cartridges instead of the common shrader valve for bikes. And the lube seems to be better as well. I do replace the inner lube with motorcycle grade fork lube and the point where the shaft enters to the cartridge, I add three drops of grease (silicone PTFE or marine grease). You will not believe how soft it becomes. 😉

So great ! I love tear downs! You’re actually do a better advertise than them (they should communicate on all these internal improvement) very convinced on how this should make a better wheel! Love how you are curious about details. I’m sure you’re impatient to test it for real. On my end I still want to try the S16 before making up my mind between the two !
I can say to you kingsong no thank you if you are ocd like me they use really poor materials if you are a inmotion user and you jump on a kingsong product is so disappointing because there quality is far from the quality you find on a inmotion wheel. Thank you for your comment I will share it with inmotion :) maybe they decide to get me on board like previously where I was one of the first to get all there new wheels :)
Yes I have V5F (also worked well) I also had KS 18L first batch was good too honestly. I meant S16 (not 16X), but I trust what you're saying as you like to go under the hood, 🙂 which is the best and worth all the ride test in the world- I was wondering as you had the wheel and could ride it yet what you were doing with it! now I know lol you tear in down all the way! lol Really look forward to your ride test! @@MADpack

Great video with a lot of details that can’t be found elsewhere. Great idea about V11Y pro, get it 100V with 1800wh battery and 2800w motor, and of course the leaperkim similar suspension but make it less than 32kg it will be awesome.
I believe inmotion have all the technical parts to be able to produce that will be insane if one day we see that and a bigger front light maybe with the idea I gave years ago already when curving an extra light turns on for the side you are curving like the cars since they have a gyroscope is definitely possible to make

We definitely need a v11 with better suspension for sure! The KingSong s16 pro looks compelling but still has the horrible roller suspension
Maybe inmotion in the future will give us a inmotion v11y pro who knows?
But you know about the Bill Guo's aftermarket shocks tubes for V11, right ? They are the sale as OG but stronger and fully working.

I shared this thought with Zen Lee as well, but I would honestly like a suspension delete option. Have a replacement bolt-on covering for the saddle and have the pedals fixed low at ~6” or 150mm-ish. That would appeal to me as an 18XL commuter just looking for a wider rim and a kickstand

No way I want to have no suspension … and the suspension here is no much better not even comparable. I get you about bringing pedals down yesterday I crush because it was really windy and the wind sadenly pushed me off the wheel from the side of I had a lower position I think it will not have happened

Great technical review, will need to re-think about going with a V11 OG VS going with the Y. I feel this wheel is made to have no maintenance (compared to my A2).

@@MADpack changing tire, bearings... cleaning the inside of the wheel (mud, dust, salt, anything we have here in Canada during winter).
Changing tire is challenging since you have so many screws bearing protection the best I saw so far and cleaning inside is not an issue also remember the ipx6 that allow you to wash it like if it was a car so no worries about that
I'm still rolling the second batch v11. Same bearings, 3 tire changes and 3rd set of shocks. Hahaha.
I found out why the shocks don't last. It's a design flaw and not entirely the shocks.

Not sure why this and the S16 Pro weren't 100v Wheels, 84v wheels at this point make no sense. Hopefully the market going forward will not make anything below 100v. That S16 Pro would have been an absolute gem at 100v
Thank you for your comment and I completely understand but let me give you a different perspective. A lot of people want a wheel like me to go to work been easy to manoeuvre I like to ride between 55-68kph I wanted light compact and maybe I also don’t want to spend to much money… but I want a great front light I want maximum water resistance a good trolley but I want to stick around 2000 dollars and also please a smart Bms is essencial…. And I forgot I want a decent suspension. Before the v11y all that was basically impossible to give to someone the v11y give me all of that but is a bit slower… more voltage will only make your battery run faster and increase the price… so since I like to ride between 55-68 this wheel is more in the slow side of my favourite speeds but my final question for you is? Do you think a lot of people outside of US rides fast? I have to tell you no so that’s why a 84v makes sense I prefer to have less V but better quality overall and like I said it will increase my range so v11y makes all the sense to exist..
In short - weight reduction, as 100v cost more weight

I will use it mainly if not only on street/road, sometimes on wet road (when it's gonna be raining a lot i'm gonna use back my kuickwheel escooter) do you recommend me to change the wheel ? Or the original wheel will do the work fine ?

I restart riding recently I recommend you to change the tire and if you do street and rain the tire I have put on mine like I explained here is a monster tire is really good still testing the wheel for full review
@@MADpack I’m afraid to do a mistake when disassembling the wheel to change the tire but I will take the ref of the tire you use, maybe do it myself later or pay someone to do it.
If I can make a request, there’s videos of disassembling the v11 but not the v11y I know they’re similar but maybe you can make a step by step video of disassembling the V11y since there’s differences ? You’ll be the first.

@RoiDesCochonsONeil hi there … they are basically the same ones and is easy to disassemble I normally say just grab glasses write which part they belong and that’s it
13:25 Very Strange…I didn’t have to remove the battery for mine, same arrangement than my OG V11 with the guide for the câble. But I realize why they would do that (If it’s not a wrong assembly on the factory and they did change assembly process) : it’s still challenging not to pinch the cable with the suspension support. Overall, I hoped that the tire change would be easier especially with the raptor controller, it is indeed but not by much 😅
This is my 3rd v11 and all of them I had to remove the battery to reach the cable maybe you can force it to come out but in that way you will risk to damage your cable. The space is small so if you do t set it up properly yes you can damage the cable of the motor with suspension maybe that happen because you didn’t remove the battery to be able to set it up properly
So now you have to clean the 2 little screws instead of the big one... How often does one even remove the pedals? 2x in a year maybe.
You missed the full benefit… let me explain even if they are 2 been smaller less dust can go in.. but the most important is no dust will go in on the axel so pedals will continue to open and close without issues for a longer time

Hi Mark , I will probably receive my V11Y this week, have 2 questions, I bought a Pirelli Rosso sport 80/80-14 tire but the width I measured is 87mm instead of 80mm, do you think it can fit the V11Y? Also will the tire change process the same as V11 ? Thanks in advance.
Not sure that’s why I went to a 70 maybe will be too tight. When you have the wheel put it in front of the wheel and spread the tire on the side to have an idea if it’s to large or not but I think it will
@@MADpack thanks Mark, I guess 87mm will be too large, as I saw others putting the Michelin PS2 tire 80/90-14 with 80mm width, it’s close to the maximum possible. I might install the PS2 if the Pirelli not fit. Thanks again and hope you recover soon.

@@MADpack yep, I heard they are durable; will be giving a try after my 2 new tires the MC PS2 and Pirelli Diablo Rosso sport; I want the 80/80 with 19” diameter to make the V11Y more torque, but if not fit I will have to install the Michelin PS2 80/90
I can tell you the v11y have plenty of torque for a 84v wheel

The same found on the v11 never had an issue with rims on the v11

V11 Has been out of date for a long time with its crappy design. Seriously, she doesn't even deserve to be talked about.
Sorry it makes me laugh your comment because you see multiple people with v11 with more than 15.000km and running without a problem.. this is a wheel that a company give you support and parts ater 2 years of releasing, was the best front light on the market, was first suspension wheel on the market. One of the best trolleys… when you talk about crap design go more in detail… if you want to complain about number os screws and suspension ok but your comment is not constructive and just to criticise. Per example the before master I ride two tree times went on holiday and the wheel turn on alone and never turn off again… done less than 20 miles no jumps or crazy stuff not even riding on the rain. That’s a crappy design that you can lift the top and have access to electronic, mudguard broke by putting on the car, handle broke but removing the wheel from the box… you want me to continue??? Sorry your comment is just none sense
V11 has been out of date since 2020, only grandpas have bald heads! That's why they are 15,000km away! ^^ Come on, stop trying to sell your stake to an expired V11Y...On top of that we can't even put powerpads correctly on this outdated wheel, it has such an outdated design that at the time powerpads didn't exist ^^
Of course, if you drive haphazardly with a wheel that is not suitable for going in water, don't be surprised then consequences. So be smart and stop your untrustworthy business. The majority of the community rides BEGODE and doesn't complain about it at all! Even more so since 2023 where Begode really makes quality products since the arrival of the Begode EXTREME and its competitor the PATTON so stop Inmotion and KingSong thank you...the real ones know this very well. Don't try to scam novices and beginners.@@MADpack Go back and make your TV or speaker videos, you're useless for the wheelers
Interesting v11 upgrades. But ill never go back to the v11 design. Way too hard to work on, over complicated and too much plastic fantastic. The v14 looks like the way forward. BEGODE style.
lol the last begode review on this channel the wheel died after 3 rides and by it sell inside the house turn on and never wanted to turn off again… never had that with inmotion didn’t had the chance to try the v14 but man begode style is offensive if the company was mine if you say veteran style of I get it
