Well sorry to say this. But they are not so kind as you think. Last time they call foreigners 'corona' on roads. Some foreginers were kick out hotels. Only good thing is government is very kind and giving all the care. Public is paniced due to corona and they forgot more people are dying of dengue

For the all sri Lankan don't be panic. She went out to sri Lanka last february2020. Also she is not covid 19(corona patients) it's just a cough problem because of the cold climate in kandy. Hopefully she will live safe place in the world. I know our sri Lankan very scared of the covid 19. But don't be panic of her. Cheers 👍

Sri lanka people are so kind, and friendly . I have been there before Mam , last 2011 and I've noticed that most of the places were surrounded by greenery of trees and plants. Hope to visit again the country. Thanks for sharing ..

Sorry jessica, you should stand Home or in the Hotel when you are sick, and wear a mask. It does not to have corona. It can be and other cold illness. But where is the sense making other sick? I mean the driver has to continue to work. You could just rest a few days in your Room. This is selfish behaviour. I Got the flu during my bali vacation. You know what. I stayed in the hotel room for a Week, ordering food into the hotel room

That is true.There is clear risk with this situation madam, because Covid 19 getting spread in some areas of the country. So I'm also highly recommend you to chanel a doctor. That's is good for you and others people. Please be kind enough to be safely. Sri lanka government putting a high effort to control the spread this virus. please make sure to use a mask and follow up instructions given by sri lanka government.

Kandy It was the last capital of the ancient kings' era of Sri Lanka. The city lies in the midst of hills in the Kandy plateau, which crosses an area of tropical plantations, mainly tea. Kandy is both an administrative and religious city and is also the capital of the Central Province. Kandy is the home of the Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the most sacred places of worship in the Buddhist world. The best remedy for sore throat or cold is to keep drinking hot water throughout the day sip by sip like a tea and also do gargle with salty hot water.

The Lord Buddha's Tooth Relic is placed in the Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy. In English we call it "The Temple of the Tooth Relic". You can worship it, but even Sri Lankan Buddhists can see The Tooth Relic only when it is publicly displayed every few years.
It is a Buddhist tradition that women cannot wear clothes that are exposed to their legs, thighs, back and chest and enter a Buddhist monastery. Because Buddhist monastery is not a place of lust, but a cure. According to the ancient Kandyan tradition, pure Sinhalese Buddhist men has been serving to the Temple of the Tooth Relic, hundreds of years as drummers and dancers. It's not half naked dresses, it's the type of those dresses. And those dresses are traditional costumes of those dancers & drummers. I hope you got it. 😊👍🙏

I really hope you don’t have the Corona virus (Covid 19), sore throat is suppose to be the fist symptom of the virus. If you infected, you will be infecting hundreds more while travelling in that condition in crowed trains and tuktuks, I strongly believe you should seek medical help and self quarantine yourself to stop the risk of infecting others in case you are infected. I am not sure when this was filmed and if you have already left Sri Lanka or if you suspect you may be infected please provide details of your travels to Sri Lankan authorities to take precautionary actions with others who may have come in contact with you. Hope you will take this note serious and act responsibly. Good luck
Adventure escapes hi, thanks for your concern. This was shot at the end of February before coronovirus got out of hand. I did not have any coronovirus symptoms other then me losing my voice which only lasted a few days. I understand the hysteria around this virus but I can assure you I do not have it, i was even checked leaving Sri Lanka and entering india it I showed any signs I doubt I’d be let back in India. Namaste 🙏🏻
