    When I made meatballs recently, I was inspired by you to toss the meat back and forth between my hands as shown in the vid and WoW- It worked out GREAT! They were neither too loose nor too tight and there was no cracking or splitting. Thanks for the tip Marc! 👍🏼

    Loco Moco is very tasty! Thank you for sharing this recipe with us. "The Little Engine That Could" is such a great story, too. It makes me smile to think of it! Have a great week!

      You're welcome Erin! I always picture the little engine chugging along when I hear Loco Moco, I guess it's not the image the folks who coined the name envisioned 😆

      @No Recipes Sorry to hear about the rain! We have been getting a lot of rain here in the San Francisco Bay Area, too, which is very unusual for us at this time of year. This morning is dry, but the rain resumes tonight. Please take good care of yourself in the rainy weather!

    What's your favorite Hawaiian dish? For me, it's a toss up between this and Poke.

    • @natviolen4021
      @natviolen4021 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Poke on steamed rice I could eat every day. And next is chicken long rice which I often prepare in stead of congee because it's so much quicker.

      Same! I miss living in Hawaii. Every time I felt home sick for Hawaii, I thought of preparing for that, poke, and spam musubi. Eventually I want to come back to Oahu and live happily.

      I think my favorite Hawaiian dish might be saimin. I really loved it when I was there, and I find it fascinating that it's a noodle soup that combines various food cultures together It's really yummy!

    • @NoRecipes
      @NoRecipes  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yea, they did it last summer, but it was just a burger with an egg in it, Loco Moco needs the rice.
